Mags

You probably don't remember me, but we were cycle buddies about 18 months ago, and so delighted for you having twins!

I am 26 weeks pg with one, and couldn't be happier, those 5 attempts now feel like a distant memory (or should that be nightmare?!)!

Wishing you a very special Christmas, I can imagine it will be your best ever!

D x

[Edited by Dawn Blake on 22-Dec-03 03:05]
Me 34, DH, 37. Married for 11 years, ttc for 6+, failed 4 x fresh IVF tmts. 5th attempt at Lister Hospital gave us Megan on 5 April 2004 with a very straightforward pregnancy and labour. Attempt number 6 to start hopefully September 2007!
Mags

nice to hear from you and lovely to hear about Jacob and Amelia, sounds like they are doing really well. I also cycled with you in Jan/Feb when you were one of the first to get a positive followed closely by Helen G. I recently had a second ivf attempt and am now 10 weeks pregnant with twins, will I ever be prepared for the hard work!!!

Congratulations again, hope your hormones settle and that you enjoy your best ever xmas and have a wonderful 2004.

Love Lisa xx
Dear Mags,

Lovely to hear from you - what lovely names you chose, and how fab that you're doing well. I understand that depression is quite normal but often never discussed - but it's horrid how our hormones make us feel. I had a few weeks of antenatal depression (!) but I saw a counsellor and had 3 hypnotherapy sessions through the clinic where I had my IVF, so I found that helped enormously. also Evening Primrose oil to balance hormones was very effective.

Hope you're feeling OK, and don't be embarrassed about asking for help or support.

Have a lovely Christmas, love Sally xxx (34 weeks)!!!!!!

Hiya Mags!

Glad to hear your 2 are doing well, my girls are 11 weeks old today and weighed 12 lb and 9 lb 7oz 10 days ago, so are also doing well!

I know what you mean about trying to get into a routine, it's non-stop isn't it?! I haven't been on the site much since twins were born either - too busy!

I find it easier to feed them roughly at same time (quickest feeder just before the other if poss or together if they can't wait!). They are feeding every 3 1/2 - 4 hours apart from night time, when they go from 7-8pm until 3-4am which is great.

Anyway, that's all for now - we'll have to catch up and swap tips sometime!

Take care & have a great Christmas,

Luv Rachel X
MAgs

how wonderful to hear from you - always think about you - can I join the twinnie club please - tips very welcome
Have a lovely xmas
Love
Tracey
xxx
