Loopie- good luck today! I hope all your embies are happy and stick. STICK STICK STICK STICK!!!!!

Tammy- how are you feeling today? Just take it easy.

Mia how are you feeling? Any reports yet?

Bat- 15! Whoa. That is awesome. I bet you go 5-day. Congratulations.

Sage - has AF come yet?

Rin- How are you?

Jomae- glad to read that you are keeping a PMA. That's the spirit! :D

Hopin- lots of sticky vibes your way!!!

I just got my phone call and we actually had 12 eggs, 10 mature enough for fertilization and of the 10, 9 fertilized! Yippee. I just called DH to tell him the news and he said he was getting tears. So, I am scheduled for Friday at 12:30. She also told me that there is a possibility that they will send me back home once I get there. The embryologist doesn't look at the embies again until its time for transfer. And if I have at least 6 that look like they can go til 5-day I will be sent home. If I have the ET Friday, I will be going it alone. No biggie. I know DH will be disappointed that he won't be there to watch, but.....I told him to stay positive and hopefully we can have a 5-day!

weezie--good numbers!!!!
21--I am going to tell my mom everyhting after the fact even if its BFN. I just dont want her knowing every little thing. That way if its BFP she will be that much more surprised. So thats my reasoning. She will make me crazy if she knew and prob tell people or try to talk me out of it. So she will know but not until after the fact.

Katie- how are you doing? How are your symptoms?
TammyS - sorry you are a little bored but the little embiebabies need to find a little snuggle nook in there!
Suga - did you POAS again? What are your symptoms?
weezie - 9 fertilized awesome! keep us posted, looks like you will end up with some frosties! Grow embies!!! Have you thought more about how many to transfer?
21bat - great fert report!!!! WOW Grow embies! How many are you transfering?
Me Still completely  insane in my 2WW!! Not knowing if all these symtoms are pregnancy or meds really messes with my head, one minute I am all smiles, the next I want to cry. I can barely do anything at work cause all I can think of is about Saturday and finding out. I go back and forth so much. My RE said between 11 am and 3 pm PST I will find out. I am completely obssessing and this board keeps me sane... I am trying to keep a PMA but sometimes it is really hard... I still have a huge tummy, hard, mild cramping on and off like AF is coming, no spotting whatsoever after ET, tired, sore butt, sleepy... thanks for listening!

Rio and Tammy S- yeah, it is pretty torturous. Last cycle I POAS'd long before either of the beta tests. This time I'm going to try not to at all, but I have very little restraint. My RE does 9 and 11 dpt, which is actually kind of nice. And last time since my beta was the week of Thanksgiving, I actually did 7 and 9 dpt. So the 2ww was really only 1 week. Anyway, well, I've been reading up on everyone every day, I just felt like since I was so far behind everyone that I didn't have much to contribute, but you have all been in my thoughts and prayers every day. :D As for me, I started my lupron a few days ago and will start stimming on 2/7. ER/ET is scheduled for the week of 2/18. Yay!

Rio - hang in there!! You'l find out abot your BFP very soon!! i know you will!! :)

We are only transferring 1 embryo if it's a really good quality one. otherwise we'll do 2. my doctor has a really good success rate with 1 embryo transfer, and with me being so young, they said there's a 70% chance of getting pregnant with it at 68% of a full successful pregnancy. so we're happy with those #s

Are you moody from the PIO shots, or just sore? I am enjoying my few days off the shots...but I start my first PIO tomorrow. are you icing the are before the shot? i am hearing conflicting information...are you doing anything to ease the pain? does it hurt??

Hey girls
I'm so happy to see so much fertilization going on!! Good luck to all the ET's today!...sticky sticky!

I'm having a bit of a hard day today. :( They called and said the 6 embies are still growing at 3 days, but the best of them are only C quality...I don't know what that means in numbers...maybe 3. There are 3 that are 6-8 cells, but somewhat fragmented & the rest are 4-5 & fragmented. So at my age they don't want to just put them in because there could be more going on, so they are going to do PGD and hope that at least one makes it through.
I'm so afraid that the PGD is going to hurt them but I have no choice.

I keep thinking things could be much worse & at least they're not D, E or F but it's so hard to keep the faith. I'm praying that there are a couple of fighters with all their chromosomes.

Thanks for listening

Corny - thanks for sharing your experiences with me! WOW a 1WW  ? I didn't know they could tell so early on... I am so excited for you to start stimms! 2/18 is just around the corner! BFP wishes for you!!
21bat Amen to that! I hope it is my BFP :D - one of many in this post! Those are great success rates! I think the hormones are making me moody plus the wait, you invest so much up to this point and not knowing is hard, I felt fine a couple of days after my ET but now the wait and hormones got the best of me, I did fine during stimms. I hear you are not supposed to ice for PIO, My DH gives me the seringe and I keep it under my arm to warm it up a bit and then we put a numbing cream on, wait 25 min. After the shots he rubs the spot a little bit, I then put a heating pad on for 10 min. I used to get supersore the next day where it was hard to sit. After letting the PIO shot get to body temp and then using the heating pad after - I am just a little sore the next day but a 90% improvement! I highly recommend it! The numbing cream doesn't help a ton since it is topical, but the rest does!

HI EVERYONE

Post by kbear4211 »

Everyone is right, you don't post one day, and you get way behind. It is great that everyone keeps in touch so much, it makes it easier to hear from people going through exactly what we all are.

I am doing well, like most of you, some days I feel pregnant, some days not. The main symptoms I have now are a little bit of tenderness in my chest and on and off cramps. PIO really messes with you. I am only doing PIO, no patches or suppositories. I am told if I get a BFP Monday, my progesterone form will change (Halleluia!) I am tired of having tired and sore spots on my backside.

Well, I am 12 days past 3 day tranfser, and whoever said the 2ww was TORTURE, sure knew what they were talking about. I have not given in and POAS yet, probably won't, especially if my DH has his way. He jokingly told me that he would pee on any sticks that came into the house. I know he would support me if I did decide to do one, but maybe waiting for the official result is the best way to go. Since my test will be a couple days past the norm, since my clinic does not do betas on the weekend, they should have a pretty good idea by Monday.

I am taking it one day at a time. I am falling asleep pretty early for me (9:30), but at least once during the night, I wake up and stay awake for 45 minutes to an hour). Once my brain starts going, it is hard to get back to sleep. Anyone else having this problem?

How are everyone else in the 2ww's symptoms? I know they probably mean nothing, I was just wondering.

I was wondering something else, my discharge instructions from ET stated no sex until 4 to 5 days after ET. From everything I have read, there should be no O's until after beta. We have been playing it safe and abstaining, but I just wondered about the different information.

LOOPIE - Good luck with your transfer today. I hope you can get someone to go with you. I am saying prayers that your DH recovers quickly.

JOMAE- Keep your chin up. I am praying for a good ER for you. Like my RE's bumper sticker says, "It only takes one".

AMY - I am very sorry for your sad news. Please don't give up and let us all know when you decide to move forward with donor eggs.

21 BAT - I was very sore for three days after ER, than it got better. Chic Fil'A is my absolute favorite, and much less fatty than other fast food. I actually had Chic Fil'A breakfast the morning after my ET. We crusied through the drive-thru. We had planned to go out to IHOP or something, but the RE wanted my feet up. 20 eggs is great! As far as the PIO shots, a heating pad for 10 minutes after really helps (THANKS RIO FOR THE TIP)

KATIE - I had not ever heard of bw all during 2ww, but I'm sure your clinic has a different way of doing things. Who knows what is best. There are so many different practices out there, it baffles me. I am praying for a BFP coming your way.

WAITING FOR MIA - After ET, I have had many twinges and little aches and pains in my uterus area. Wierd, isn't it. Like others have said, I have never been so aware of my uterus.

MARIN & RBJEAN - Go Follies Go !!!!!!!!!

TammyS - My RE said 24 hours couch potato time w/ feet up and then three to four days of light activity. I would be going crazy lying down for so long, you are a strong woman. I am praying for your BFP!!

SUGA - Congratulations on your second BFP for POAS!!! That is great. I'm sure the beta will confirm and I am thrilled for you. I hope you feel better soon, it stinks to be sick during this already stressful time.

SAGE - I am also doing a "COME ON AF" dance for you.

KILDEAN - Yay, 36 hours no shots, it is a nice little break. 20 eggs is wonderful. I am praying for a great ER for you.

HOPIN 4 BABY - I am praying for your BFP as well. I see a lit of 8 cell, 6 cell conversation and to be honest, I do not know what cell mine were. I guess if I have to do another cycle, I will know more. You all education me all the time. I know that mine kept on dividing right up to the 3 day transfer.

CORNY - I am also praying for a BFP for you.

I wish everyone the best. "STICKY BABY DUST" to all.

RIO

Post by kbear4211 »

RIO - My beta is 02/04, I didn't see it on the latest list.

Keep strong. I know how crazy you are wanting an answer, I think about it all the time as well. You have been an inspiration to me, all your information and support. I'm sure it will be hard after your fistst beta tomorrow not to POAS. If I had to wait two tests to hear, I might not be able to resist. The symptoms are just mind crushing. One day I have them, the next, not so much. I am all for the peeing blue after implantation. I also like the M&M idea. Might have to give that one a try.

Thanks for being so devoted to everyone.

Kbear----I also have been told no sex until after heartbeat. The BW during my 2ww is to see if I need estrogen pills and/or patches and to make sure the PIO is fine. Good luck to you and the 2ww is almost over.

Rin- I am so sorry, there is another post floating around about PGD but I don't know much about it. You are in my thoughts and I will pray for little fighters!! Please keep us posted!
TammyS - you have inspired me to change my ticker to a more PMA one!
kbear- I had just put events from this week on that post, but then updated it with more dates so I will make sure to put yours back in there :) thank you for sharing your symptoms with me, it makes me feel less insane ;) and thank you for your very kind words! :D I really don't know what I would do without you girls! I love the comment of your DH peeing on any sticks that come in the house! Let's be strong together and not POAS! I am having the same issues with sleeping, once I get going my brain won't stop. I don't think you are supposed to have sex until they clear you for it, that's what my RE said...
Katie -my boobs aren't that sore, just the nipple area, I am so boated that I have to lie down after meals cause it is so uncomfortable. I had to buy some dresses at Target cause I couldn't wear any of my pants and skirts. Still huge belly, 14 days for first beta is a long time  I have been taking it easy, it would be nice to exercise but to be honest, I don't feel that great on a constant basis right now. Walking is about all I can do but not much, I have been trying to get lots of rest. I still have this weird irrational feeling that the embies can "slip out"
