Tammy- Did you take Lupron while doing the IUI's I did during (5 units)3 times, and once did a day 21 start like IVF...I will reduce Lupron to 5 units on Friday when I start meds. Do you still think I will take longer?? I hope that it is somewhere in between. My DH has a very hard time getting time off, and is stressed about not knowing a date. I am trying to give him my best estimate, and hoping for a Saturday.

RioGirl- TAKE THE TEST :D :D

Haha! I bet you are right, but no. no box from Costco. Dh is very against HPTs (could be due to the thousadns of $ I spent on them every month for 8 years of TTC  SO if I buy them, they will have to be in a small box... and I will have to hide them.. Won't be the first time!

Okay I was reading the other post about BFP and flu...now I have a question...I have a horrible cough that just goes and goes with no break and makes my tummy hurt...could this really cause a miscarriage? I will ask the doc. tomorrow when he calls with my BFP. Makes me worry though.

Thanks! for all your support.
I am remaining positive, but boy...I knew that at 42 it would a tough go, so i thought I'd be prepared but when you actually hear bad news it's really hard.

But I know I got 1 good egg in there somewhere!!! My FSH was 10.16 which is borderline I guess, but I saw some girls on here with 13 & 14 who became pregnant. So we'll keep the faith.

Tammy Don't take tetracycline..it's really bad for a fetus. I think erythromiacin ( sp?) is better if you need to. The make sure you take probiotics because pregnant women are more prone to yeast infections from the antiobiotics. Yikes....women are amazing aren't they ?? :)

Rio/Mia I love the ongoing POAS debate. Does Costco have jumbo boxes ? ...that's funny. And yes I am very gassy, but I'm tying to eat healthy so maybe that's it.

Weezie i am so happy you're having a good day..I LOVE wine & cheese!! I need one!!!

Does anybody know if this PIO soreness stays the same or does it get worse & worse? I'm rubbing & heating & warming....

Rin
Me: 43 Dh 60
IVF#1 no ET..poor egg quality...then AP & herbs
IVF #2 BFP chem IVF #3 clinic dosing error so had to switch to IUI, BFP!! A Boy!

Rinnie: The IVF docs have me on it from last Sat (the day after ER) till tonight. I think everyone is on some sort of antibiotic after ER arent you? I am out of them now. I am sure it is bad for a fetus but not for an embryo or they wouldnt have me on it. I hope....

I am on tetracycline too...i think for 4 days after ER. i think it's supposed to make sure the body doesn't attack the embryo as a foreign object. i'm also on Medrol...one of these drugs is supposed to do this (not sure which one actually :))
