Hey girls

Here is my update from ER today. They retreived 20 eggs and out of 20, 17 were mature! Please pray that I receive a good report tomorrow about fertilization. I am going to get some rest. I am still tired from procedure.

WaitingforMia- thanks for your positive reply. I have not had any ultrasounds yet as they want you to get to some minimum E2 level before starting ultrasounds. I guess I haven't reached that yet. At my baseline ultrasound I had 5 on one side, 6 on the other.

Mia - CONGRATULATIONS on your anniversary! :D you and DH are super-cute! which pre-natals do you take? Go ahead and POAS! I dare you  you are too funny! I have a normally flat stomach, before ER I was tender on my left side but not huge, after ET, I started to get HUGE (sorry) I know it is not that much water retention because I have weighed myself and the gain is just a normal 3lb fluctuation. I can't even suck my tummy in, I think I seriously gained like 10 inches! 1 day and 19 hours to go to a BFP (fingers crossed!).
Marin- don't be SSC!! PMA!! I had a little slow start, then he continued my Menopur up and I caught up, I think a couple of girls here caught up too! Then I went to 1,750 or something. Got 10 follies and 4 perfect embies! They say 200 units per follicle but it also depends on their size. Don't stress yourself out! I know it is easy to do because we get focused on numbers so much. Think positive for great follies and eggs, and remember it really only does take one special one!
kildean - wow! you overachiever! sending you fert vibes! get some rest!
jomae- how are you doing?

I was kind of hoping the doctor would call even though he said he wouldn't - but the stinker didn't call so I have to hold on for Saturday!!!

Marin: Yes, I think you are just a slow starter, not slow responder. Put the ice cream away and go out with hubby!!!

Hi,

I am very new to this whole thing. My husband and I were trying to get pregnant for a little over a year. I am 30 and he is 34. We found out that his sperm don't live for long periods of time. Therefore, we skipped right over insemination to IVF. Everything kind of happened quickly. I just started the pill and I received the package of meds today. Upon opening I felt scared, yet anxious. I feel overwhelmed. We have to do ICSI due to the sperms' survival. How are the shots??? Any advice??

RIO - I am a little swollen, can feel it in my clothes, but not too bad. I didn't have a flat stomach to begin with (ha ha). I am sure it is hard to get into your clothes feeling 5 months along. I hope your body is just getting you ready. Are you still staying strong, no POAS, even after your first beta?

Waiting 4 Mia - No, I haven't tested, didn't even buy one. It is funny, because I had to go to my husband's college and we went into a back staircase for him to do my PIO shot. I have never done one myself and did not want to start tonight. Luckily, no one came near. I just imagined us getting busted "shooting up".

SUGA - Hope to hear from you soon. How did everything go?

Okay after getting through all your posts! I swear I have to read this thing every hour to stay caught up!!! To everyone with ER Bed rest and fluids!! I am excited to hear about the 20 eggs and maturity and whatnot! yay!!! To all ET...Bed rest and fluids lol. Take it easy and the BFP will come! To all 2ww: HANG IN THERE! Almost there!!

Okay, so I got my news today...it was BFP!!! My level was 274 which she said was great for a first level. (Sat would be 2 weeks so I am technically two days early). I test again on Monday to make sure my levels go up. Does anyone know if this is a good level? High, normal? Just interested in what it really means...

To all you other your BFP will come soon!!!

Symptoms to date: tired and just lazy (really lazy. I am OCD and dont care what the house looks like cause it is just too much to clean), nipples a little sore, Forgetful! I forget my lunch at least every other day when I leave for work and lose my car keys (this never happened before), did I mention TIRED!?!?

On that note, taking my shot and shower and off to bed!

CONGRATS SUGA!!!!!

Rio---I am soo bloated also and its high up also and hard but tendor. I also still feel ache in the ovaries. It went down earlier this week and now its back. So I also look 4-5 months preg. b/c its so hard and just there. Im glad im not the only one feeling like this. It will be worth it when we get our BFP. I know that it may be like this for a while under a month or two when preg. or until AF arrives. I opts for bloating for two months of course!!!!

TammyS wrote:Mia: I am feeling pretty good...sinus infection feels better today. DH has been bugging me all week. I think knowing they cant have it, makes them want it even more! Ugh.

Rio: How did it go?

Rin: Yes, when is ET?

Bat: Hear it...7-8 weeks from what the girls are saying. See it 6-7 weeks. Can someone else confirm? What did the doc say about the odds of transferring only one?
6-7 weeks?? so no sex for like 8-10 weeks????

doc said chances of pregnancy with the 1 embryo is 70% for my age. and 68% that it goes to a full term pregnancy. those are good enough odds for us :)
