ICSIGirl -- If you're reading, please know that I'm thinking of you. Stay strong and don't ever give up on your dreams. You know it can happen so hold on to that if nothing else right now.

I do have a quick question for you though. I thought I read somewhere that your beta's started to drop. I was just curious as to how many Betas you actually took before they started to drop. My clinic only required me to do three and as long as they doubled each time, I wasn't required to do anymore.

BFN for me :(

I did hpt last night and this morning and came out negative. My blood test is tomorrow, but I know it is BFN. I stopped taking progesterone and don't feel like going for the test tomorrow.

I am crushed

Unexplained!! You can not stop the progesterone yet!! It could still be positive. Your test isnt till tomorrow. HPT's dont work for everyone. My girlfriend everytime she is pregnant ...takes an HPT and it doesnt work!!! She can only have a blood test. Please call you doc...and tell him. You could be pregnant. I am hoping that this is the case. The docs will tell you to never ever stop the PIO till after they confirm it. Wishing you luck and praying for you! Plus ...it may still be too early. Betas have to be a pretty high number to even show up on the HPT's.

Unexplained- I know how hard it is to see a bfn on an hpt, but don't stop or lose hope. My first faint line on an hpt did not show up until about 18 hours before my first beta. I was a late implanter and my first beta was a very low number, but now I am almost 10 weeks pregnant, so please wait until a blood test confirms...anything is possible.

Unexplained,
You can easily get a false negative with an hpt. You need to wait for your beta test. Do not stop Progestrone unless beta test says negative. U need to wait for doctors order. Did u get a doctorate in IVF in the last couple days? I don't think so. If your going to take an hpt that's fine, but you need to keep a PMA no matter what the hpt says cuz it's not accurate like the beta test.

Thank you for cheering me up. I thought I would not be able to stand people cheering me up but it turned out to be quite comforting.
I took a day off and slept till now (with a little morning break when I wrote previous post). I will take progesterone tonight (I skipped this morning though) and will go for the blood test tomorrow. My hubby would not let me NOT go.
I really don't have any hope left, and finishing this cycle take it as a responsibilty and obligation.
I am just so dissappointed, I was really hopeful this time, third time is a charm, etc etc. I dont think I dont have any more tears left.
My hubby is crushed too, but he had to go to work and will not be back early :(
I have to go to work tomorrow, I hope to get better by then. I havent had any alcohol for half a year, maybe a year, and I feel like having some wine right now, on this cold and snowy day.

Thank you girls again.

Esperanza- I do MBA and marketing is one of the core courses, but probably the most boring (I am more of a numbers person). Luckily I dont have any classes till Monday, and time heals all wounds. What grad school are you in?

Unexplained -- Don't give up jest yet. As you have read many times before, those HPTs can be evil devils. Remember PUPO!!! The Beta is the final say and until you have that, keep doing what you're doing. Please don't stop taking any of your meds before the doc says so.

If you end up with a BFP tomorrow than you will have stressed for not doing the things that you should have done today. Remember what we always say. IT'S NOT OVER TIL THE FAT LADY SINGS!!! The fat lady hasn't sung yet.

I will pray hard for you tonight.

To everyone else, good luck with all that you are doing right now. No more doc visits for me until the 12th and that's my 1st U/S to make sure everything is where it's supposed to be and to tell us how many are there. We should be 7 weeks than so we should see the heartbeat at that time too.

My DH leaves for CA tomorrow and will not be back for 7 days. AAHhhh, now I have to cook my own dinners and take care of myself. I was getting spoiled. He has surely been taking good care of me since day one in all of this. He is 45 and this is his first child (besides his dog) and he is overjoyed. He hadn't seen his parents in 14 months because of the distance so that is his visit to CA. It was a Xmas gift from me. He is going to break the baby news to them when he get there tomorrow. He knew his mother would cry all week so he wanted to be there for her and wanted to make sure she was sitting when he gave them the news. They are in their 70s so this will be a real joy for them

I know it ain't no fun taking care of yourself while preggo, my husband has been working in CA since 2 days after the ET. I only seen him when I went there for Christmas and New years . I won't see him again till I go out to be with him over Valentines day and his birthday. Kinda sucks, having noone to take care of me except meself.

Neffi- my first extrememly faint line was 10dp3dt. I had a 3day transfer on dec 14. I started hpt's way early and got all negatives. I took one on 12/24, christmas eve morning and it was still bfn. I was freaking out and thought it was all over. My official beta was not until 12/26, but would have been on 12/25 except it was christmas. Anyway, I took another one around noon on christmas eve, only 3 hours after the bfn, and there was a faint line. From that point on, all bfp's! I think I would have gone crazier without the hpt's, just be prepared for any result and know that anything is possible and nothing is offical until beta.

Neffi,
HCG doesn't start increasing until implantation occurs which may not occur the same day as ET. It is possible to get a positive HPT 10dpt, but why put yourself though getting a possible false negative only a couple days before your beta. However, If you can except a neg hpt as a possible false result and keep a pma, and you feel must take an hpt just to keep your sanity, then go ahead. I think you shouldn't waste your money though. Just keep a pma and wait for the beta which you have to wait for anyway. I'll pray you stay strong and send much baby dust you way :D .

No still no AF... I called the nurse today she told me to wait until I start my cycle to start the estrogen... :( If it waits too long it could push off my FET. I'm hoping it comes soon!
