COlesmom-- Yeah 2 more days. I wish I hadnt taken the HPT, but I honestly couldnt stand it anymore. I couldnt sleep last night, the not knowing was really getting to me. So at least I will be able to sleep tonight. My beta is 8am on Monday, when is yours???

Neffi211 and colesmom: I completely agree with TammyS. It is way early to test. B/c of having my daughter I knew my hcg levels go high quickly so I was hoping to get a BFP on an HPT early. And even then my line while visible wasn't vibrant and strong. PUPO!

Schel67, CT_Michele, hellokitty, colesmom, TammyS, MrsG and everyone: Thank you for the congrats. Please keep your fingers crossed that the line continues to get darker.

hellokitty- how far along are you? It is sooo awesome you got to hear it. I asked my ob and they said I wouldn't hear it for a while. I am sure I could by now, but they said they don't like to use that machine until after 12 weeks. I asked my ob what she thought about the dopplers you could buy for home use and she said they are a waste of money, unless you are willing to shell out $500 for the real deal. We are torn, because the one on amazon for $125 rated really well.

Schel67 - So glad to hear from you.....how are you? I want to join the other thread too...think I'm going to do it tonight. I'm committed to enjoying this pregnancy now, no matter what. We've all tried so hard, so I'm gonna put start to get my feet wet. I understand about wanting to wait too.

Unexplained - Your 3 positives are excellant! Wish I could combine 2 and 3. I usually don't drink wine but now that it is forbidden, I wanted someone to enjoy that little no no for me, thanks girl

TammyS - How are you doing sweetie? I know those 3 embies are snuggling in. Praying so hard for you ladies!!

Unexplained - Way early to test but you did confirm that the trigger is gone, not sure if you used hcg though. But please don't stress too much now, way early

Mrs G - Sorry that hateful AF is a no show. But what the heck are the dr waiting for? I didn't get mine on my first IVF but all my levels looked good. How long did the doctors say they would wait?

Neffi - Sweetie, I wish I could give you a hug right now. Those hpt are a devil. Like Tammy wrote, don't loose hope. I remember testing with my first IVF 2 days before beta and it was a negative and the next day a positive, so never can tell. I'm glad you have a backup plan, I believe in them but we don't know if we need it yet. Pamper yourself and try not to worry too much

Andnichole and CT_Michelle - I went to my first OB appointment and was very nervous because I so used to seeing my little bean. So, I mentioned it to her and they squeezed me in for the u/s but don't get to use to it for every visit

! I didn't think I would get to hear it either but the tech said they had a great machine. It was 170 bpm and it was awesome. She mentioned that the dopplers sucked too but I was thinking about them also. I am offically 9 wks and 1 day today. Michele, I'm sure you can hear it now.

That gives a me little hope...when does your clinic test? How many days. I am 9dp5dt?? So...I dont know my clinic does 16-17 days after ER. So we'll see what happens monday

They didn't really say. She just said I can't start my estrogen until AF starts and if it is really late it could delay our FET. So....

Patiently waiting.. I don't even feel like it's coming though... Ugh how annoying.

Exactly! I've thought that so many times but could never put it so simply into words. Another thing the ladies in the 2ww should realize is they are putting themselves though so much unneccessary grief by starting to take the hpt's so early not to mention the waste of money. It is so much harder emotionally to see BFN results days in a row plus get a negative result on beta than it is to just wait till beta day. I speak from experience. This last time I was determined to wait for beta day and it was much easier on me. I only took hpt the morning before cuz I wasn't sure I could make it in for my test the next day cuz of a snow warning. Fortunately, I got a BFP and got to take my beta test that same day.

This wait for you must be so hard and frustrating. I don't understand why you wouldn't get AF since your lining was majorly built up last month preparing for transfer. Ummm do you know what your actual beta number was. Did you take another pregnancy test?
If your not pregnant, I agree with hellokitty in wondering why the heck they are making you wait so long. I'd be calling the clinic bitching and would want to talk to my RE about being more agressive in getting me pregnant. They need to step it up!

Colesmom and Neffi -- Don't give up just yet. Remember PUPO!! You girls had to remind me of that before so keep your head up at least until you get the official word. I know it was hard not to test because I thought I could wait and didn't so I can understand you doing the HPT. When I took mine I had to embed in my mind that whatever it was it was. I knew in my heart that I would become pregnant one day, just didn't know what day and carrying that attitude made it easier for me.

Andnichole -- I see that the devil has still been good to you. Have your line gotten any darker? Well that doesn't matter a line is a line in everything that I've read. Congrats again.

Schel and CT_Michelle -- I see that you ladies are doing good. Great work. Questions, when can you have SEX. I had to back DH up Thursday night. I wanted to so bad but there was no way I as putting my baby in jeopardy for my own selfishness? I was not going to do anything until around that 12 week mark. It's tough. DH totally understands. There are always other ways to satisfy your man and beleive me, mine will take anything he can get (smile). Sorry if that is TMI but am feeling pretty good today hehehe!!!

Esperanza -- Glad to here that you may be starting that cycle soon. You know I'm there with ya!!!

Ms G -- I agree with Schel, I would be calling the Doc. I think there is something they can prescribe to bring AF on.

As for me, everything is really good so far. My nose have been burning all morning and I"ve been sneezing so hard. It seems like I pull something everytime I sneeze and that is scaring me. I hope I'm not coming down with a cold. It could be those extra smell sensitivities that you get when you are pregnant.

Girls I tell you no lye, I am starting to show. I know it is not bloat because that was there and almost as soon as I stopped taking the shots, they went away. I actually have a stomach and won't be 6 weeks until Monday. I'm feeling like I could have more than one bean in there. My U/S is scheduled for the 12th so I have over a week still to wait and see.

Question, have anyone heard from Blondzella? Blondzella, where are you????

washingtonda- I can totally believe you are starting to show. My clothes became uncomfortable for me really quick. I am a bigger girl, so I know others won't see it for a while, but I know how my clothes fit and I will be going on my february vacation to buy some maternity clothes. That will be around 12 weeks.

As far as sex goes- we have already had sex, but just once so far. We were both very nervous, but took it easy, and I know how you feel, I think I wanted it more than him. We hadn't done anything since thanksgiving! Our dr told us we were in the clear at about 7 weeks, after we saw the heartbeat. We waited a little bit longer than that, maybe around 8 weeks. They warned we might see some spotting or bleeding, but it was normal and not to worry. They said at this point, if we were to miscarry, it would 100% not be from intercourse. Thankfully, we had no spotting at all, so now I feel safe about it all.

Doctor told me no intercourse since my bleeding. When do you see an obgyn?

It's been a while for DH and I as well. I guess we could've done it right after I got my bfn (yes, unexplained, I'm jelous!) but I was too sad to get in the mood, and 2 days later I got AF, so I can't wait for it to go away

Once it stops, I'm going to squeez all the energy out of DH...he'll probably be shocked

Really, I can't wait!

WashingtonDA: ask your RE, it's alright, I can gurantee you s/he gets that question all the time

but hey! I'm glad ya got tricks to keep dh happy. hehehe!

My ladies about to test--I understand you! the 2ww drove me crazy too. At the time I barely recognized myself, I swear, I became someone else. Don't be too hard on yourselves, it's all normal and part of the process. This is a waiting game. I'm sending lots of love and positive vibes.

Keisha--so good to hear from you honey. I'm SO SO SO happy for you and your positive attitude about your pregnancy. You deserve it sweety so enjoy every single little minute.

Well, here I am. I just started to see a little brown and light pink spotting when I wipe. I think it can be implantation bleeding. I will not take anymore of them hpts. I think I will pray for the best and see what happens. I am trying to compare this to my pregnancy with my son. I did not show up on a hpt till 8 days past when AF was do. I also had implantation bleeding as well. I am keeping a PMA

This can be my BFP I am looking for.
Neffi, I test at 7am on Monday morning then wait for the call. Relax and wait for the BFP. WE have to stay strong.

Colesmom-- Oh I hope it is implantation bleeding for you! But if you implanted this last, will your positive show up tomorrow?? I didnt take a hpt this morning, i am just going to wait until tomorrow. As the day went on yesterday, I got worse, but I am feeling better today. Cant wait to hear from you tomorrow!
