Hi!

I hope you don't mind my joining in! I am in my 2ww and wanted to find some others who are in the same boat - it sure looks like there are a few on this thread.

First, congrats Riogirl - awesome news and your beta looks great!

I had my 5-day transfer on Jan 28th and will be testing on Feb 6th. I can hardly wait. I've been through this 8 times before but the waiting doesn't seem to get any easier.

They transferred 3 blasts so I am hoping this time it works - my odds seem good...right?

Jomae - I can't believe that the specialist didn't see the polp - I would be really upset too. Hey, they are paid to find those things. And I am so sorry to hear of the complications you experienced after your ET and then the news of your embies. But don't give up on your remaining one. I had a embie that on day 2 was only 2-cell and then by day 3 it was 8-cell - so sometimes they are slow to start but then catch up.

Anyway, I am looking forward to surviving the next 5 days with you guys!!!

RIO: CONGRATULATIONS!!!! WOOOO HOOO

Wow, that's 2 for 2 on the board so far!

Ummmmmm I'm still at home...no ET today. They called & the little guy grew a bit, but they said at this rate it was unlikely to develop into a pregancy.. :( But they are going to give it one more day..7 day!! & maybe a miracle will happen. I burst out crying after i hung up...couldn't help it. I'm going to stay positive, but it's almost easier to just know..one way or the other.

I've also felt nauseas the last couple of days which doesn't help but I did make an appointment at the best Chinese medicine doctor in the area & am really going to get my body strong & balanced if we have to do this again. I was reading remarkable cases of egg quality shooting up after doing through a program like he has

Keep praying girls....for me & Jomae

I don't know anything about polyps but I know they need to refund some of your money for missing something that obvious that caused you to go to the hospital...absolutely. My thoughts are with you!

Tammy thanks for helping Bat....I agree...it will all become so much clearer when you get to day 5. I know you will have a healthy strong blast. & Tammy I hope your aunt is doing better...staph infections are nasty but clear up pretty well with antibiotics

Has anyone ever heard of transferring at 7 days??? I guess maybe since it's slow growing it's only at day 5 or 6 I don't know. I can't believe it's hangin on!

RIOOOOOO- CONGRATULATIONS! :D Your post made me cry. I'm so excited for you. You've left me speechless. I prayed so hard for you this morning while at acupuncture. And I just knew you'd post a BFP! ConGrAtuLaTIonS!!!!

Rin- I'm not giving up on that little fighter just yet! Lucky seven, right? I admire your PMA and the fact that you are being pro-active in coming up with an alternate plan. Which I might add, sounds remarkable. I'm learning more about Chinese Medicine and believe it can really be effective.

Jomae- You've got to stay strong for your little one. Don't give up hope. We are all pulling for you and your embie!

Tammy- I hope your aunt makes a speedy recovery. So, you just couldn't resist throwing your hat in the ring for the "golden needle" award, could ya? What would have been great is if you and DH would have invited your aunt or maybe the nurse to join you in the bathroom! :D

Bat- This must be very stressful for you and DH. But its out of your hands right now. Stressing only makes things harder on you and DH. Please take care of yourself. Try and relax. Tomorrow is almost here and then you and DH can go for ET and decide together how many to transfer back. DH may be more receptive to doing 2 if the RE explains why, and what the stats are. And your little guys are doing FINE. Focus. Be positive fon them. They're probably having their own little " Pre-superbaby sunday" party. Waiting to get snuggled deep inside you. :D So, chin up and focus on preparing your body for tomorrow!

Welcome Kelly! February 6 will be here before you know it.

Katie- glad to see you pop'd your head in. And certainly glad you stayed away from POAS!

Kbear/Loopie/Mia- what's going on?

Suga- are you taking care of you and your little one? Feeling ANY better?

Me- Rewind to last night.... the nurse came by to give my PIO. Well, DH wanted to watch very closely so he would know exactly how to do it, right? Let me remind you, my shots have NEVER hurt. So I assume the position (leaning over the bathroom counter) and DH decides to lean ON ME! His arms were on my back, looking over at my rear. Well, needless to say my muscle was tight and that sucker hurt!!!! Lesson learned: ALWAYS make sure your muscle is RELAXED when administering the shot! So, today I went to acupuncture (and I made DH stay home, he's entirely too chatty lately and after last night he is on my shitlist) and it was great. I even left with 4 very tiny needles still in my ears! I can remove them Tuesday. But ahhhh, how relaxing. I got home and slept for over 2 hours. I need all the relaxation I can get. DH is going to give me my shot tonight  But I did have the nurse use a permanant marker and draw targets on both sides for him.

Well, I'm off to the grocery. I need to make sure I've got what I need for the next few days. DH will be leaving tomorrow afternoon. After he knows I am okay and tucked in for the next few days. I'm sending POSITIVE, STICKY VIBES TO ALL OF YOU WONDERFUL GALS! This is our year!

21bat- I have read on the internet also and the ICSI embie should be just as good as the non-ICSI. Sorry I didn’t explain better, Ghost has a lot of posts and I think he is a researcher and knows a lot about IVF. He normally answers questions on the IVF posts. If your DH has normal sperm you should be fine, the speculation was that if there was a very small risk it would be because of abnormal sperm, not ICSI. We transferred 4 ICSI embies!!! Good luck with your embies! Yickes – blood gushing! You poor thing! My nurse had told DH to always pull first to see if no blood and a couple of times he had to stick me twice. PMA – we are all cheering for you, go super embies!! I agree with Tammy that the decision of how many to transfer depends on the quality and I think your doctor can give you good advice.
Weezie-Thank you for your prayers – they worked! I will be praying for you tomorrow! Go embies – super embies! Do you know how many superembies you will transfer? I can’t wait for your BFP! So you're walking around with little targets on your bum – how cute!
Mia – ready for your superembies tomorrow? Sticky vibes, let us know how it went, I am here thinking of you!
TammyS/Mia- I can’t believe I resisted you girls telling me to POAS! I am glad I didn’t but I tell you what, later on today I will just for the heck of it!
Tammy- Sorry to hear your back is bothering you. I also did a lot of visualization; I would put my hand on my tummy at night and visualize them getting cozy. I am so sorry to hear about your aunt, I hope she feels better soon! I hope the staph infection clears soon. Hopefully woozy is a good sign, I had that too!
Jomae- oh my gosh! I am so sorry, how could they have missed a polyp? This is unreal, plus the way they answered you and left you with all these questions. Is there another IVF clinic you can go to? I agree with a refund and go somewhere else! I am sorry I don’t know the answer to the 1 cell question. I am thinking of you and hope that everything goes well and you feel better. Please keep us posted!
Katie- stay strong and don’t POAS! I don’t think anything shows up until 10dp3dt anyway, if you do POAS, then take it with a grain of salt, how are you feeling?
Welcome Kelly! 2WW is pure torture! Your odds seem great!! BFP dust!
Rinnie- I am so sorry, I will keep praying for your little fighter! I know it is hard, but keep the PMA.
Kbear- how are you doing?

Suga and Rio: A HUGE CONGRATS to you ladies and your BFPs. It's truly expiring to hear the good news. I'm so happy for you two!! Take extra care of yourselves in the 2WW.

21 Bat: Keep your chin up! I'll pray for your embies. Good luck on the decision on how many to transfer. It's a big decision and an expecially hard when when your DH has a differing opinion. Do something to spoil yourself today, you deserve it.

Rinnie: I'll be praying for your lil' embie too. Sending strong vibes your way ...

Donna: Welcome. I'm also still on the stims - day 9 for me today.

Marin: How are your stim shots going?? I hope you're making some good progress.

Mia and Weezie: Good luck on ET!

My update: I have about 10-15 follies right now - all midsize (13 or so) as of yesterday. My E2 is already getting up there - 1150, so the doc reduced my Gonal F dose yesterday. Hopefully my US tomorrow will show a follie growth spurt. My estimated ER is 2/5.

Good luck to all the ladies on the 2WW. Try to keep yourselves busy (and avoid the evil POAS for sanity).

Wow!! CONGRATS RIO!!!! FANTASTIC!!! No we can stop hearing you whine about wanting to POAS! LOL!! And what are you doing posting again?/ Are you already off of cloud Nine???

Jomae: Aw man hun I would be so mad. Yes ask the dr why he didn't find the polyp himself! Can they freeze the embie so that they can remove th epolyp and then transfer it?? I know you are soo frustrated, but get ome answers!

Rbjeaan great report! 2/5 will be here befor eyou know it :0)

Weezie: yeah I was in a hurry this orning cuz I had to get to work so I tensed my muscle a bit, and it did hurt! I am sure dh will do fine!

Rinnie: My clinic freezes at day 7, so I know they transfer at day 7. It is not common, but it happens, with success! PMA girl :) I will be praying for you. I know it will be hard to sleep again tonight, but it is not over until the RE says it is!!

Kelly: WELCOME!!! How are you feeling after your ET?? 3 blasts, wow     I will start my 2ww tomorrow :)

Katie: can't wait to hear your good news also. Yes, it is dangerous to stay away for more than a day... so many of the 2wwers posting like crazy :)

Ok here is my news. I woke up several times to go pee last night (I never do) and around 4 am I woke up in severe pain cramp like pain very low like in my bladder. I thought it was gas, since I have been so gassy, but it was much lower. I tried to use the Restroom to see if that would alleviate it, but no. I was in pain for an hour almost. I finally put the heating pad and the pain starting going away. Today I am sore to the touch (more than yesterday). It was almost like a cyst bursting. My RE said it is uncommon and it might be a bladder infection, but he doesn't want to put me on antibiotics the day before ET (ommm isn't that what Doxyc. is??) confused. So here is my question could it be cuz dh and I cheated and had sex 2 days ago?? But there was no pain that night??! Ok enough blabbing about my poor pains..

ET is still set for tomorrow. The RE called said they look good, but didn't give me any details.

Alright girls we can get through this... together :) Thanks for all being here for me!

and CONGRATS again Rio!! Super happy for you!!

RIO - I just got home and logged on to see your posts.

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I could not be happier for you, and congrats on not POAS.

My DH is keeping me busy this weekend, so I don't think about everything too much. I still think about it too much, but it is nice to be busy. I am okay, just scared to death. Only two more days and I will finally know something. We went to the store yesterday and stood at the HPT's for like five minutes, trying to decide if we should get one. I cried, because I didn't know what to do. We left without one, so I will not be POAS before my beta.

We are going out again, so I have to go. Congrats again RIO and STICKY BABY DUST TO ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow! A second BFP! Congratulations Rio!! So excited for you. :D :D

Lets keep the BFPs coming! :!:

RBJean- sounds like things are coming along for you really well. :D Keep us updated with your progress!

I am still poking along. Bloodwork tomorrow AM again. Hopefully first US Tuesday. I asked the nurse when I got the second blood test of 105 what it was supposed to be and she said everyone is different - some people get up to 2000 eventually, some never get over 1000. If my body is not going to respond to the meds though and get enough follies, then they would cancel the cycle cause its not worth going through the ER if nothing is growing. POOP. But, today, I think something must be changing cause I can feel my ovaries now and I am horny for the first time during this whole injection phase (Sorry, TMI). I am hoping for a bigger number tomorrow. I was supposed to have ER around 2/6 but the nurse says that is likely too soon now based on how slowly things are going. So, if it happens, it will be 3-7 days after that she thinks.

The other not so wonderful thing today-- we had to go to a funeral of a friend of ours who passed away recently of Leukemia. Wife, 2 young kids. So sad. Of course, I cried my way through the whole thing- couldnt help it. Partly because of the drugs I think - every little thing just seemed so sad.

I am keeping a PMA with all of your encouragement and positive vibes on this board! Thanks everyone :)

Hey ladies! I hate to rain on everyone's parade, but I really need to vent! DH is with his kids today and I've really enjoyed the peace. But just a while ago his ex called harrassing me. She called me 7x in one minute. I had to turn off my phone. I am shaking and can't stop. I even ran to the store and bought some cigarettes. :( This thing is the devil  Now I'm just so upset. And I know its not good for me. I'm worried my body is just not in that happy place for tomorrow's ET. Thanks for listening.
