RIO: CONGRATS!! I KNEW IT WOULD BE POSITIVE!!! WOOHOO! *does happy dance* Maybe this means we will all get BFP!! Now we just have to keep our sticky vibes for nine months. How are you feeling?

21bat- I hit a blood vesel once (well hubby did) and it did the same thing. Junk hurt real bad for awhile lol. Tell him to pull back and make sure there is no blood next time!

Weezie-I have the targets on my bum still as well because husband wants to know exactly where to put them...however now you can just tell where because I am so bruised haha

Mia – Let us know how it goes!!!

Jomae- Please keep us posted. They realy should have noticed something like that...I mean mistakes do happen but if you do not feel good about this doctor I would start to look around.

Katie- I can not say anything about POAS since I did it haha. But I waited till 12 days after 3 day transfer. I would wait if I could but again, what can I say.

Welcome Kelly! Welcome to the 2ww! It was horrible! Keep your mind busy is all I can say!!

Rinnie- I am so sorry. I know this is rough right now. He is a fighter though and hopefully things work out

Kbear- how are you doing?

Me: Well still tired and still lazy. Dont want to do anything. I managed to do very little housework today...husband still did most as he does not want anything to happen to the little one(s). I have started to get really dizzy if I am hungry and sometimes if the stomach is totally empty I get a little nauseated...not bad but just a little. No other symptoms really. Just tired and lazy! (Which is not totally bad.) :)

She called me 7x in one minute. I had to turn off my phone. I am shaking and can't stop. I even ran to the store and bought some cigarettes. :( This thing is the devil  Now I'm just so upset. And I know its not good for me. I'm worried my body is just not in that happy place for tomorrow's ET. Thanks for listening.
Weezie: I am soooo sorry how horrible. You did the righ thing turning off the phone. PUT THOSE CIGS AWAY!!! Go eat icecream or something else. You are right you need to be in a happy place. SO keep the phone off; turn on the music loud; and just mellow out a bit. ANd try not to turn it into a fight tonight with dh. Think about your baby that needs a happy place to go to! Don't let her ruin this ok??? Thinking of you!! What time is ET???

Rio - CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!! i AM SO HAPPY FOR YOU!!!

Tammy - OH MY GOSH, thanks so much for all the helpful info!! You're so awesome! And everyone else for all the help! You've made my decision easier in this difficult time. I'm feeling better today, just ready for ET tomorrow, I'm checking in at 9:30am.

Are you still bloated? OMG, i look and feel so huge! I hope the stomach shrinks soon...until i'm pregnant and it's time to show :) then i can officially start buying maternity clothes. i feel weird buying maternity clothes until BFP :)

Did you girls have to insert prometrium the morning of ET? I have to do that tomorrow!

Jomae- so sorry to hear about your embryos! I would definitely call the doctor and get more details and make sure they tell you why they evenlet you start the cycle with the polyp!!

Mia - how's your fert report today? Ready for ET tomorrow??? I just went to whole foods and bought lots of pineapple!!

Kelly - welcome!! Wow - 8 cycles...this one has to be it for you!! 3 blasts is great :)

Rin - i'll be thinking about your embies!! I've never heard of a day7 transfer, but trust your doc and ask lots of questions! Hang in there! But i agree with you, it's better to just know one way or the other.

Weezie - thanks! what are you doing to prep your body for tomorrow?? i just bought pineapple and will try to drink more water. and i guess relaxing is always good :)

mia - sorry to hear about your pain! I have been waking up severeal times a night to go to the bathroom too, and I never do that. This has been going on since ER, but ididn't think anything of it. bladder infection would be bad :( i think you're supposed to drink cranberry juice for that.

Good luck on ET tomorow!!!

Hey All- I'm getting ready to go to bed. All the drama has left me exhausted :( DH and I have decided to transfer 2 embies unless the RE recommends something else.

Mia- I used to get frequent bladder infections and the common med for that is bactrum. I don't know if it's harmful to the embie or not but I guess RE knows best. I'm glad the heating pad helped.

Mia/Bat/Rin-Well tomorrow is our day! :D I will say special prayers for all my ET buddies.

Oh yeah, DH was really worried about the PIO, but he did great. I don't know if it was because I was so upset that I didn't feel a thing or if he really did a good job. Well, its over and I'm still alive. Transfer is at 9:00 so wish me luck! I'll post when I get back home.

Are you ladies planning on having someone stay with you for the next day or two following ET while you're on bedrest? DH will be here the whole day tomorrow (day of ET) but then he's working, so i don't know if i'll be ok alone or not. they said i can get up for drink and go to the bathroom, but i dont know...

Hi all, I hope you don't mind me joining this thread at such late notice.. I am 4 days away from my bt (8/2) and am new to this whole chat room thing but am feeling the need for some support!!!! This is our 8th attempt (the first 6 icsi with dh sperm but all bfn-dh has azoospermia so testicular sperm used) so made the big choice to use donor sperm and thought it would all just happen :!: (as I have a 6year old from first marriage and seem to be all good!!) but our first icsi with donor sperm the embys ended up worse then any my dh and I made????????? :?: so this is our 2nd attempt with donor sperm and it has all gone much better ( 14 eggs retreived, 10 mature, 8 fertilised and on day 3 had 2 8 cells put back... )one was a grade 3 (4 being best) which is our best ever so we are hopeful and both so so ready for a bfp... as I know we all are!!!
Anyway so far am having NO symptoms at all so a bit dispondant and wondering how I'll get through the next few days..... :?
I am thinking of being a rebel  and not getting the final bt done on thurs 8th as sooooo tired of the phone call saying "sorry it hasn't worked"...instead..... I am thinking I will wait til after the weekend and go in on the monday and that way I'll either find out naturally by getting my af... or if I haven't got it then it will be a very very good sign.(as af always starts the evening of bt or next day)
Any thoughts on this!!??
Sorry to ramble... loving being able to vent..perhaps should have done this forum thing before the 8th time!!!! :D
Good luck and baby dust to all those on this same long hard journey.

dh 33 azoospermia

Hi Alex,

It is nice to see another veteran on this thread - I am doing my 9th round and this time we resorted to donor eggs. Our 7th and 8th time we tried donor sperm too! Funny, we had the same experience the first time we used DS - our embies turned out worse than they were with DH's sperm. But the second time they look great too - I guess that wasn't out problem. Hopefully the eggs are the problem for us and that we'll get our BFP this time.

I too am feeling nothing - in my other cycles I did have periodic cramping. I wasn't on the stim meds this time (so didn't have the trigger) which I guess will change how my body reacts but still, I figure I should be feeling something, anything. Not that I want to start cramping because then I'll be convinced that my AF is coming.

If you can wait until next Monday then you are a much better woman than I. I have to wait until Wed for my test and it can't come soon enough. I know what you mean about getting the news natually through the arrival of AF. With all my BFN AF arrived before the test date (I tested 2 weeks post transfer, instead of 2 weeks post retrieval) so getting the phone call was a little bit easier. I don't know how I will handle negative news if I don't get a 'sign' before I go in on Wed. But I guess I'll just have to hope that I won't be getting negative news!

Good luck to Rinnie, Mia, Bat, and Weezie on your ET's today! Just remember that you only need one!!!! Rest lots today and if you do log on later today, make sure that you don't prop a laptop on your tummy (apparently the warmth isn't good for the embies).

Hope everyone else is doing great!

Hi Ladies
i did have all my notes written down after going through all the post but i got a visiter and put it in my pocket which ended up in the wash so i had to go back through the posts so Rio i'm sorry it's late but here it is CONGRATULAIONS on your big fat positive well done do you have your beta yet i love guessing how many is in there from the betas.
SUGAi may have missed your beta too can't wait to hear Congrats to you both hopefully you guys are the beginning of a good roll.

Kelly and Alex wow i don't know how you both have done it but good on you for sticking with so many cycles i truly hope you both get your BFP real soon your both a great inspiration to us all i'm sure goodluck

Rin how are you i'm sorry your having a hard time i must say though your clinic seems to be truly doing all they can to get you that BFP i've never heard of a 7 day transfer. All the best i'm sending goodvibes your way

Marin you horny thing you look out Dh. I hope things are progressing with the follie growth and i'm so sorry to hear of your friends death its so sad

Mia are you officially on the 2ww . Say your dh must be some looker if you can't keep your hands off him i can't see how you would even feel like it after all the stimming and bloatedness, you go girl

Weezie can you not get caller id isn't there some people you would like to just drop of the face of the earth. has dh's ex got a new partner or is she still pining for him.

21bat no prometrium for me whats that meant to do and i'm sure you'll be fine after ET just take it easy goodluck

Hi Tammy hows your Auntymum hope shes doing better

As for me i don't know anything else my clinic is closed over the weekend and uncontactable. I'm meant to have ET tommorrow if my one survives and thrives as i hope but i don't even have an appointment time i think i threw the doctor off when i mentioned the polyp they found in my cervix and then he forgot to give me a time i'll be ringing in the morning early to see what the go is and don't worry i'll be making it clear that we won't be needing his services any longer once this cycle is finished with . On a good note my pain has subsided almost completely does anyone know if they fill you with air during Et to get better access i just felt like i had a ballon pump shoved somewhere and they've filled my body with air

Has anyone heard of responding badly to the meds if you are givin too high a dose could they have the opposite affect if given too much maybe the ovaries get to big a shock and shut down what do you girls think

I hope everyone is well i'll post tommorrow with an update Congrats again Suga and Rio and goodluck to those testing next or going in for retreivals and hangin there Rins embie i'm thinking of you

Just a quick post for Jomae,

You wrote... "Has anyone heard of responding badly to the meds if you are given too high a dose could they have the opposite affect if given too much maybe the ovaries get to big a shock and shut down what do you girls think "

I actually didn't respond well to the meds when they put me on the long protocol (down regulation with suprefact or lupron before my cycle began). Apparently that can over suppress some women so that their follies don't grow very well. They then changed my protocol so that I wasn't down regulated before my cycle began. I tried both the micro-dose flare and the antagonist protocol. Apparently the micro-dose flare works really well for low responder but I ovulated through it so it didn't work for me but the antagonist worked great and I consistently produced 10-12 good quality eggs on it. So, don't give up. If this round doesn't work ask your RE about other protocols you could try.

Best of luck tomorrow. Hope your little one is hanging on!!
