Hi Beck and Mags,

I keep meaning to respond to this thread but it's so hard to make the time! Dan's just gone for a walk with his Dad, so I'm just running a much needed bath and catching up on the site.

Dan was 13 weeks old yesterday, and is now a real little boster (is that a word?!). He weighs around 12 1/2 lbs now, and is on about 7ozs of milk at each feed, mind you in the last few days he's dropped from 5 to 4 feeds, must be enough though as I'm sure he'd be letting me know if he needed more....what do you think? Mags....thought I had a greedy boy! How many weeks are yours now?

At the moment Dan is a dream baby, he goes to bed at about 8pm and sleeps through for approx 8 and 9 hours. Don't suppose it can last though!

Well, hope all is well with you other mums.

Suzanne.x

HI EVERYONE, WELL BEN DIDNT GAIN ANY WEIGHT THIS WEEK... HES JUST ON THE 0.4TH CENTILE LINE. THEY HAVE ADVISED ME TO INCREASE HIS SOLIDS SLIGHTLY.ALSO TO TAKE HIM TO THE GP..AS HE MAY WISH TO REFER HIM TO THE BABY DOC UP THE HOSPITAL. HOWEVER, I AM GOING TO SEE HOW HE GOES OVER THE NEXT COUPLE OF WEEKS, AS HIS DADDY WAS A SKINNY CHILD.

Benjamin, 10mths

Post by Wendy »

Hiya, oh how lovely to hear about how all the new mums are doing. Benjamin is 10mths now - sounds like hes the oldest so far - but I know theres older ones out there. Benjamins a real star, hes pulling himself up and cruising the furniture, hes got 6 teeth and eats absolutely anything and everything. I really cannot believe how quickly the last 10mths have gone. I don't know if anyone else has used it but I swear by Gina Fords contented baby book and her book of weaning - its made my transition into motherhood so easy - I'll definately be using it on the next baby. Has anyone else considered doing it all again to get a brother or sister for their little one ? We've always wanted a big family - I think thats out as I'm nearly 37 and we just can't afford too many more goes, but we are just about to start icsi again this month. I'm very hopeful and we're definately less stressed as we've got our dream already, so we are hoping that will stand us in good stead. I'd definately like to keep in touch with anyone who is doing it for the second time around as I feel guilty going on the main site, as if I'm being greedy or something.

love to all :D Wendy, Chris and Benjamin

Hi wendy
great name you chose!

We are hoping to try another icsi around july time, as we would like a sibling for Ben, and like you say, the pressure isn't the same as before, as we already have our little angel.
Where abouts did you have your treatment??
