Hi girls.. seems I'm a bit obsessed with this forum!! Probably lucky I didn't get into it the last 1 1/2years of ivf as I don't think I would have achieved much else!!
Loopie- just wanted to say good luck for the 11th.. oh and I'm in Australia by the way!! You?
Rinnie- sorry you didn't get there this time, and will be thinking of you in May re the icsi question
Alex i wanted to ask you why they did icsi with donor sperm....isn't that reserved for weaker sperm? Anyway, welcome & I wish you both the best!!!
they decided to do icsi because that is what we had done with dh sperm so they just thought they'd go with it just to be on the safe side!
Weezie- great news about the blasts- fingers crossed!
Rio- Congrats
21 Bat- positive vibes for your little fighter
Waiting for Mia-good luck and well done to get your blasts.

I am still feeling nothing...very very bloated but have been like that for the last week or so...seems so cruel to look 4 months pregnant when that is exactly what you are trying to achieve!!! Dh's brother is arriving from the UK tonight for 3 weeks which will keep us busy! (is extra special as my dh only met him for an hour or so the first time when we were in the UK a few years ago because my dh was put up for adoption as a baby)
Would be SOOOO cool to get a bfp while his brother is here!! :P
me 34
dh 33 azoospermia
Icsi # 1-6 bfn
icsi #7 donor sperm bfn
icsi #8 donor sperm BFP BFP!!!!!!! FINALLY!!!

21- I think they just want you to be realxed andd my RE said couch potato not bed rest, so bending at the knees should be fine.
Katie - let me know what RE says, I am still very swolen but no water retention  so I can't figure this out. I hope it goes down soon and we just keep the baby bump! Man this is painful, avoid gassy foods!!!

Hi girls
Mia Mia don't count me out just yet girl. I went in to see my doc today to see about this polyp and to see if there is going to be a transfer He did a scan of my cervix before anything happened and guess what found nothing he seems to think the other sonographer was looking at the scarring from my ceasar so no polyp YIPEE As for the transfer i am officially in the 2ww and PUPO we had one 8 cell embie graded at a three PUT BACK on this side of the world a three is the best you can get so i'm still in the game ya bloody hoo

Rin i have to start with you i'm so sorry your embie didn't make it but i am so glad your already making plans to come back in May my thoughts are with you and dh

Weezie glad things have gone smooth for you and good on DH for spoiling you

RBJean good luck for ER tommorrow i hope you have lots of follies to collect

KBEar am i right in thinking you tested today please let us know how you went hoping for a BFP for you

Katie as far as i know ohss is a good sign of pregnancy keep up the PMA

Rio O O O i had the same thing happen when pregnant with DS but without the Dream it just felt like my uterus was spasming or somthing and then it hurt a little while so don't worry your self when do you have your scan to find out how many baby rio's you have

Suga are you having a scan to sorry can't help you with the shots question but if it were me i would still do the shot it is funny to think you would be having a reaction after already taking the shots previously best to ask your doc

21Bat the shoulder pain you are talking about is called shoulder point pain which is either caused by the air they pump you up with for ER or as i had its caused by fluid in the stomach probably blood its only meant to last about 24hours though so you may need to check with the doc if your worried

Julia welcome welcome i know you'll love being here the ladies are great

Alex hi don't know if i welcomed you yet so welcome welcome. Where are you i'm from Australia also you never know we may have already crossed paths

Hey Mia i think you made the right choice transferrring 2 back goodluck to you i can see you are so going to break before your official test date good luck holding out

Tammy whats happened to you to have a prosetic shoulder you must have had a rough time don't answer me if too personal hope your well

I"M PUPO I"M PUPO I"M PUPO

Rio can you add my test date to the list it's the 18th of FEB

TAke Care ALL chat tommorrow i'm off to bed

Jomae - congrats girls! That is awesome news that your little fighter embie made it and that there was no polp!!! Plus it gives you renewed confidence that your RE didn't mess up things!!

Alex - great sign that you still are bloated. I heard that OHSS is a good sign of pregnancy so this might be your turn!!! Have an awesome time with DH's brother - what fun it'll be getting to know him!

Riogirl - glad to hear that things are good with you! I don't think an orgasm can cause any problems. Let's face it women who get pregnant naturally continue having sex so it can't be too harmful!!!

Weezie - so happy that your ET went well and that you are in a good place. Keep that lady from hell at a distance! I can totally relate as I too have a horrible ex to deal with (we wrote on the stepchildren thread)

RBJean - good luck tomorrow with your ER. What is your fert report?

KBear - hope that everything went well today and that you get the news we are all hoping for!!!

Julia - welcome. I know this 2ww is horrible but hang in there. This thread is a great support so fill us in on how you are feeling!

Mia - good luck in the 2ww. Sounds like you had some good embies put back so I am sure they are snuggling in for the next 9 months!

Loopie - only 1 week to go! How are you holding up?

Rinnie - my heart goes out to you, but it sure sounds like you are handling things well. It is hard when you don't get to the ET stage but I always think that 'everything happens for a reason' and that when your time comes that baby will be the one that you were waiting for!!

I am sorry if I missed anyone! Thinking of you all!

As for me I feel absolutely nothing (no sore boobs, no cramping) which is starting to worry me. I test on Wednesday and typically I get AF about that time. This morning I feel very slightly like i have some 'fullness' in my abdomen which I associate with AF's impending arrival - but who knows. maybe I am just trying to prepare myself for bad news since that is what I have typically received in the past. I keep telling myself that I had 3 grade 1 blasts transferred so my odds are excellent but who knows! I guess I'll know in two days!

Hi all just to let you know that I had 8 eggs 3 fertilized doc said that they were grade A, but by law here the are only allowed to put back 2 but it's plenty! :)
We were so releived that he got any, cause I was told i might not produce any due to high FSH level. DH is over the moon being told they were grade A...he thinks it's a sign god bless him!

Anyway is anyone using progestrone suppositories(spelling!) for the next 2weeks?
They are giving me the worst headaches ever, and I really don't want to take anything just incase.. I am back at work 2day and sitting looking a computer screen is killing me!!
I am glad to read that I am not the only person that looks 4 months pg
Well I do my test on the 15th of Feb, and I am so excited and v.nervous.
My boobs really hurt and so does my back are they signs of af coming or something else?

SITTING AND WAITING

Post by kbear4211 »

Well, I had my beta this morning. Now, I just have to wait. They say I will have results between 12:00 and 1:00, but last time they told me that, it was 3:30. Either way, me and my DH are only working a half day and then we will be together for the call.

I can't tell you how nervous I am. Rio and Suga, I'm sure you know what I am feeling. I never did POAS, so I really have no clue. I am really grateful that my DH kept me busy this weekend. He has been such a blessing to me.

Well, I will update when I know anything.

I wish only the best to all of you, you are amazing women and I appreciate all the support I have received. Thank goodness for forums like this, because no one knows what we are all going through more than each other.

God Bless you all.

hi ladies,

TLova- I am using the suppositories. According to my clinic that is their protocol and that they switched from the shots like a year ago and maintained their rates.

Alex- My ET was 1/26 and my PT is 2/8 and I too don't really feel any symptoms. :? I am so tempted to POAS. I am not as strong as you guys. Actually the only symptoms I have is that my DH and my DD are getting on my nerves with everything that they do. :x I don't know if this is a good sign or if the progesterone is making me irritated. Normally this would be a really good sign because with both of my m/c, I was very irritable.

Rin-You have an awesome attitude and Im happy you will get to try it again in May.

I went for an ultrsound today, I am on day 6 of stimming. The dr saw about 6-7 follicles( I don't think that is many) They were 10 mm.. My uterine linging is already 13 mm. I have a problem with having a thick uterine lining. I am feeling discouraged. I go back on friday!
