Hi Wibbs. I'm doing great. I feel very little nausea and am starting to have quite a bit of energy. I started feeling the baby kick last Sunday. I had been feeling some movement for a while, but last Sunday was the first definite kick. I laughed, then cried, it was awesome! The baby is now doing about 5 kicking sessions a day that I am aware of. He/she just finished the longest one ever. Usually, I can keep count of the 10 or so kicks but this one was a good 5 minutes of solid kicking. How are you doing and feeling?

That would be really great if we could meet at Wilderness Lodge next year. It's only a little over an hour from my house. I'm not familiar with Sarogota Springs so I'm not sure how far that is from my house.

Nikola, hope to hear from you soon!

Happy New Year
Val

Val
Great to hear from you...glad all is well and you are feeling baby move so much , you must have a right wrigler in there, I have only felt mine a couple of times,, but have been listening to IT on the moniter.
Do you know what you are having ??? will they tell you in america??

They are not in the habit of telling you here, so I think we will have to wait till the end....althought I am desperate to know as I want to buy clothes in the right colour, not all white and cream, but we have waiting all this time so another 5 and a bit won't hurt.

Have started to get a few things together, so excited about buying bits and bobs it's like Christmas all over again for me, I was in the Baby shop for hours (1 1/2hrs ) the other day, I'm sure they thought I was a shop lifter, and all I bought was a little pair of white socks. I must have touched everything in the shop.
Also bought a Baby book of names as we have no idea what to call it, poor thing is called BUMP at the moment, my DH bought me a top that has Does my BUMP look big in this? on the front, everyone just laughts.
ps My next scan date is the 19th Jan when is yours????
Anyway here wishing you a HAPPY NEWYEAR and we will see you next year.
Take care
lots of love Wibbs
XXXXXXX

Hi Wibbs. No, I haven't purchased or rented a monitor. As long as the baby stays quite active I probably won't. I work for the medical group my doctor is part of so if I ever get worried I can run over to his office and they will let me use the their monitor.

My next scan is 9th Jan. We will find out the sex then if the baby is willing to show us. I just read that 71% of Americans know their baby's sex before the baby is born so it is quite common here to find out early.

I haven't done any shopping yet since I may know the sex soon. My mom and sister couldn't wait so I ended up with quite a few cream and white baby outfits for Christmas.

The names we are considering now are Carter for a boy and Sydney for a girl. We come up with new ones every day but these seem to be the ones that keep hanging on.

That shirt sounds so cute, it made me laugh!

Take care too!
Love,
Val
