Hello everyone and welcome back Patie - good to hear from you. Have you won any wedding dress designs lately?

Just wanted to say that I went to the States in Sept last year and when I got back the BFP came! So I am hoping the same happens to you .....!

Nothing to moan about this week from me - everything ticking along. Work keeping me busy - counting the sleeps until my scan next Tuesday. I am becoming quite large but seems to be all belly so far, thankfully. Mind you this morning on the way to work I had a strong need for ice cold sparkling fruit drinks -jam packed with sugar no doubt - I just needed the bubbles - I used to drink plain water first thing - what's happened to me...!

Sassy - not sure about my new OB and Dr G being related - that is just too much to cope with in the soap opera - and I guess they discover this in the delivery room when they both are fighting to deliver the baby eh?

Ok better do some work for my new boss - I wish my old one would come back...

Mia-- great to hear from you! I suppose the twins are keeping you very busy. When my SIL had her twins, it was super crazy for the first 3 months and then started calming down. Thanks for the well wishes, I also hope this is it!

Angie: ooooo, US only a day away. (Reminds me of the Annie song... "you're only a day away. (day after)Tomorrow, tomorrow, I love you, (day after)tomorrow, you're only a day away". All right, I'll stop singing now... it really isn't pretty

Jenn: any baby action yet? huh? huh?

Patie: it is really nice to have you back on board. Sounds like the magazine has kept you crazy busy. Does that mean you haven't been designing wedding dresses lately? I don't know what to tell you about the lap/endo stuff as I haven't had endo. But it seems to me that if you are trying to ignore it all (or am I reading you wrong?), then maybe you still need a little time off from the treatments. Just a thought. Let us know what you decide.

dh and I came up to the mountains to spend the weekend with my bf who moved a year ago. Her house in a semi-secluded mountain town was finished a few months ago, but with the holidays and vacations and ultrasound schedule, this is the first time we have been able to get up to visit. It takes 6 hrs to drive here and I have to be back Mon am for blood work, so it is a short trip. But well worth it!

Starting PIOs tonight. Ouch! Not looking forward to that aspect of this cycle. The little buggers will be pulled out of the freezer tomorrow, and I will get a "day 3" report on Tuesday evening.

Hello ladies...

Sassy...the countdown is over! i bet not too excited about the needle shots...but once u get done with the first and then the rest will be easier... ur a tough cookie...
i am not designing wedding dresses any more but i made a deal with a shop which will open in Dubai sometime soon....i'd do the designs and they would execute it in their workshop and they will charge a percentage of the the retail price....which is great...i made like 5 designs so far....but wont do much for the time as i have to concentrate more on the mag and shld see how the turnover is....

Hey Angie....i like ur cravings...fruity and healthy! sometimes the sparkly water would be more soothing then the regular...or junior like the bubly better :)

it's the end of the weekend here....hurray! it was boring....we had a sand storm on Friday...now the weather is beautiful but DH and i stayed home... i dont know why! however tomorrow my friend and i are going to another friend's congrats party (it's a new trend here....we dont do baby showers but they do a gathering after the baby is born and we get the gifts then)...

However we are trying to make the baby shower a trend here and we are throwing one for my friend next saturday!!! it should be fun as we are doing the pampering theme and we are getting ladies to do feet massage and a complete treatment for the momy to be....so i have some work to do...

well i'm sorry i blabed alot!!! but i am reallly bored....hugs to alll....

YaY Yay Patie's back!!! Welcome back Patie it's great to hear from you...u sound very busy. All is well with me and baby. Sorry to hear about your possible endo but on the bright side if they know what is wrong then they can treat it...after all plenty of ladies with endo have gotten preg before. Wowsers what is a sand storm like, do you have to go indoors when it happens. If you stay outside and expose your skin during a sandstorm is that like a free dermabrasion treatment???

Sass, not long to go now, good luck a thousand times over. I am really hoping hard that the little buggers progress exceptionally well. Anxiously awaiting Tuesday's report...As far as the soap goes, although Angie seems a tad unwilling to have the drama unfold in the delivery suite i think it is only natural that it does...Angie, unfortunately the truth about Dr D and OB will surface while you are in labour. There will be some bare knuckle fighting as Dr D struggles manfully to defend his mother's tarnished reputation. Also I have been watching the Bold and the Beautiful. Some how Taylor has accidentally given birth to Brookes child. Mix up at the lab??? I think I will steal that story line and factor in a few mix ups at our lab...'

Angie good luck with your big US, I'm sure you will be fine, I know I was much more nervous at the 12 week one than the 20 week one for some reason.

Mego, how are DH and Lucy???

Jenn, any day now...how are you feeling?

Mia, great to hear from you! Sounds like the twins are fabulous.

Vicky???? Any news???

Helloo to all the other sisters have to go as Nogs is stirring.

Hey Fee!!! well the sand storm lasted one day...here the sand is so thin so DH was worried of breathing it....no need to stay in but its advisable...yesterday it was sunny and all but today its gloomy again with rains....but it's nice!!! u'r right about the endo....but i am still trying to ignore it for a while!!!

Hello ladies... hope you had a nice weekend!

Hey girls!

I have only one week left. I really hope she comes this week. The wait is killing me. Not to mention getting up every 45 minutes to pee all night is no longer humorous. I'm tired, and I figure if I am going to be tired I want it to be because I was up with my baby not my bladder!

Dr. appt. this afternoon. Maybe she will shed some light on when baby will arrive!

Jenn- I can't believe you are down to just one week. I must say your pregnancy seems to have gone by extremely quickly. Remind me again, what are you naming her?

Pati- I know having endo sucks. I suffer from it severley. I was in denial until about 6 years ago when they went in and did MAJOR surgery. (6 hours, it was eVERYWHERE....bowels, appendix, diaghram, ovaries, uturus, you name it it was there). Anyhow, got rid of it, did IVF and have a beautiful daughter. Unfortunately, it is back and getting worse by the day. However, my dr. did't recommend operating on it. WE are just going to try FET and see how we do. WE have been blessed with one daughter, that if for some reason it doesn't work, we are okay with it.....today.
anyhow, the surgery was nothing. And I do believe that had we not done the surgery, we wouldn't have gotten our beautiful daughter.

Sassy- How did the BW go today? Shots again...ugh...not fun, but hopefully worth it in the end.

Fee- How is Rio (did I spell it right?) doing? I am sure he is just changing like crazy. Have you returned to work or were you one of our lucky sistas who is capable of staying home? I am so jealous of all them:(

I am home with dd today. Didn't have a babysitter, so I graciously sacrificed to stay, and play. I love staying home with dd. I honestly could be a stay at home mom, but I am afraid we just couldn't swing it:(
Well, gotta go get her down for a nap. Just wanted to drop a quick hello to all.

Geez Jenn only a week (or less to go) how exciting. I well remember the peeing at night scenario....very tiring but not as tiring as having a vampire baby...rest up while you can!!!

Robbo, I will be going back to work on March 10 and Dh will be taking a couple of months off to look after Rio. The thought of going back to work kills me and I wish I could stay at home full time too. Yesterday I went in to ask my boss if I could work 4 days a week with those of those days from home. He is going to discuss it with the Managing Partner so now am anxiously waiting their response. I don't know what I'll do if they say no...

oh oh Rio is screaming, back soon

Hello!

Robbo- good to hear from you! Glad you had a nice day with DD. It is nice to have a play day away from work! We have decided on the name Anna. Sorry to hear about all that endo. it is not fun I know. Why won't they operate again?

Fee- Yep one more week, we think. Today I was 3cm and she stripped my membranes. Not a wonderful feeling, but it may help things along she said so I went for it! Dr. doesn't think I'll make it through the week. We'll see! I hope your boss decides to let you have your new work schedule!

Sassy- the trip up to bf's house sounds fun! Hope your BW went well today.

Hope everyone is doing well! Gotta go watch Jon and Kate plus 8!!
Jenn

hey ladies - just a really quick one - I have a new staff member who is deadly keen and keeps coming in to my office - not a good impression if I am typing away here!

All good with wombat's scan today - measurements as they should be (when he/she finally co-operated and got into position) - but wow, I'm sorry but he/she is a funny looking fetus !- I hope he/she is cuter when born - otherwise I might send wombat back!! And we didn't find out the sex - gonna have a surprise!

Sassy - have every thing crossed for the mega thaw - I am sure your frosties will be thriving and I'm willing you to have a ton of luck this time.

Jenn - hope this week goes quickly and you see some action soon - keep us posted.

Will write more soon - new boss is keeping me busy - he wants a strategic plan - help!

Good morning Sisters!

Sassy--Hope the shots are going all right. Am excited to see how the frosties did today. How many are they thawing?

Fee--Glad to hear all is well with Nogs. Liked the "vampire baby" bit. Lucy slept for 8 hours last night--8 hours in a row! Do you think she can do it again tonight??? All I know is that I feel like a new freakin' person!

Angie--I'm so impressed that you didn't find out the sex. You're a stronger person than me---I couldn't wait to find out. Glad things are measuring right on, it's such a relief to have a good scan. When's the next one? If you're like me, that was the last one I got! :x

We had a very hard weekend. My cousin was killed in a car accident last Tuesday and his funeral was Saturday. He was 32 years old...father of 2 young boys. It's just so sad! We had a 10 hour car drive to get to the funeral and Lucy did great. It's like she knew that we needed her to cooperate.

Well, she's crying so I'm off. Can't wait to hear your frostie report, Sassy!

Sass how r u??? any updates???

got to go back to work! i have a hidious witch as a competition to be! and DH said that she bullies me  ! does not....just because i am not a bold and harsh lady doesn't mean i am being bullied...

Jenn: I LOVE the name Anna. I have wanted to name a girl that for years. But let's just say... with my last name that would be, well, impossible  . I'm hoping the stripping of your membranes gets things going.

Angie: Glad to hear the US went well and wombat is behaving his/herself. I think it is brave of you not to find out the gender... I am such a neurotic, I don't know that I could take the suspense

All right, so here are the goods...
Out of 32 ferts, we have

6 at 8 cell
5 at 7 cell
3 at 6 cell

The rest are either fragmenting or are less than 5 cells. The numbers are about what I was expecting. My hopes are riding on the 8 and 7 cell buggers.

Considering our history, RE is "cautiously optimistic" that I will have a transfer as scheduled on Thursday. If I don't hear from him Thursday morning, I will go in that afternoon for ET.
