Hi all.. wow what a full forum this is! Great to see so many bfp's too!!
Am in a bit of a rush so won't do personals but just thought I'd let you know that it is only 2 days before my official bt (thurs 7th) but have definately decided to just wait and see if af comes over the weekend as can't take that "sorry it hasn't worked" phonecall one more time.. I think it would destroy me and dh. Dh is away this weekend on a boy's weekend to celebrate having his brother being here and think I will just do lots of yoga and spend time at the beach and pray that my af doen't start.........
Not feeling ANYTHING..... just hot and bloated (is 35 degrees today) and wishing I had some kind of sign to show it was going well.......
I never get any pms symptoms either so there's no telling.
Anyway strong, valuable women.... I will get there in the end as we all will..... x x x thanks for listening

Cooking - Welcome! as others have said you can keep these things a secret. No one knows what we are having done at the moment. I did have to tell my mum for the last IVF as I needed someone to bring me home after egg collection (long story but DH had moved to Singapore by then and I followed after the IVF). I haven't told her this time as I don't really want to educate her in what is going on but it also helps that she is 7-8000 miles away! This forum is great if you ever have any worries/questions no matter what it is.

Welcome! My RE keeps patients until 12 weeks and then you return to your usual OBGYN. This is my first IVF cycle as well. We haven't told many people either.

Cookinggirl welcome to the boards i was on gonal f with in an hour the shot needs to be given i was released from my specialist after my first scan and yep it is possible to keep it a secret sometimes its easier i remember the first miscarriage i had we were devistated and just didn't want to be around people but because they new i had to tell our bad news over and over which was hard but on the other hand the support is good. Goodluck luck with your cycle.

As for me i went and picked up a copy of the scan i had done at the local hopsital to take to my specialist i read the report and you can see where they noted seeing the ceasar scar and sperately noted seeing something that looked like an early cyst so now i'm really confused as if its there or not i think i will go back to my specialist to get him to check again. But other than that iv'e got 13 days to go.

I am feeling really down today. I've had some mild cramping yesterday and today so I am convinced that AF is about to arrive. I don't know how I am going to handle another bfn. Oh well, at least I'll know one way or the other tomorrow. I am definitely not doing a hpt - this is the first cycle that I am not going to do one and I am not even tempted for some reason.

I hope the other 2ww are maintaining their PMA that I have sadly lost along the way.

RBJean- good luck with ER tomorrow. I hope trigger was a breeze for you. I only used 5000u of HCG too. My E2 had gotten up to 4842 and my P4 was beginning to rise.

Bat- 5 frosties!!! How wonderful! I'm not doing too well with this whole bed rest thing. It's making me crazy. I called the nurse today to find out if we had any frosites and she is going to call me back, But she also told me that today I could move around slightly and be a couch potato. The first thing I did was shower! Aaaahhhhh.

Marin- what great news about your follies. The fact that they are all growing at about the same rate is fantastic. Oh, and welcome to my drama club. What fun would all this be without a little drama, right?

Suga- twinkies? I think I think I made that call last week. hummmmm. And don't be embarrased about requesting that the RE resubmit all your claims. I'm sure it isn't the first time that's happened. I'm jealous to read that some of you gals have insurance that covers this! I've been reimbursed a whopping 187.00. And I don't expect to see one cent more.

cooking- welcome. I took my gonal at the same time every day. I set an alarm clock as a guarantee that I wouldn't forget. My RE will release me to my OB/GYN at 10 weeks.

Dawn- woohoo. Glad the cyst is gone! now get movin' girlie!

Katie- how did you tell DH? Are you guys still on cloud9?

Jomae- so the saga continues, huh? IMHO, I would tend to relay on what the RE says after he looks at the scan and gives you his professional opinion. This back and forth will drive you NUTS! Focus and keep that PMA!

Alex- glad to see you will have some special time alone to relax and meditate. Enjoy the peace

Rio- what great beta's!!!! Are you going to surprise us with twinkies too?

Sage- My nurse always called me the 4 hours after my b/w. I never had to ask. But each place is different. Don't be shy. If you are not getting the information you want, ask! Grow follies, grow follies.

Well, today is my last day of bedrest. thank goodness! DH has been calling me every night letting me know how much fun he is having with my parents and siblings at Mardi Gras! They have been reveling in the streets for the past two nights. I will drive home tomorrow and then spend the rest of the weekend with my friends and family before returning to Houston for one last week. Oh!! DH and I are joining a some friends and going to listen to a couple that has 8 children via in-vitro. My friend (the only one who knows about our cycle) told me about this. and apparently they have a tv program "jon & kate plus 8. I figured it should be interesting. And who knows maybe DH will learn a thing or two about parenting. Especially if we are blessed with 2!

KBear I am so sorry. I know the feeling Just believe it will happen if you really want it to. You may want to wait a couple of months just to give the ovaries a rest. And don't stress! Take time to be with dh & reconnect..it's been such a crazy time.

I went to the Chinese medicine doctor yesterday who's also a specialist in fertility & was shocked at how knowledgeable he was about the whole IVF process. ( he even gave me what he thought should be my next protocol....can't wait to see if it's close to RE's) He said TCM can take your bio age down about 5 years ...so here I go... I have to do accupuncture twice a week, and drink this disgusting potion ( tastes like burnt rubber) I make from boiling these strange looking roots & herbs. I feel like Harry Potter LOL I'm going to take 3 months, but I'm dying to see if any of this works...he said when they take my FSH again in March/April it will likely be lower
