Jan/Feb 08 Cycle Buddies

Hi everyone well I ended up going and buyin g POAS (bc i wanted to see the positive on one) I however didnt do it until the RE called and said I was preg. I also bought balloons and I had an LSU outfit hidden away from last year b/c it was clearanced out to 5 dollars and I found it while buying my neice clothes. So put them all in my room and waited until he found them. He was home about 10 min before he went in there. It was cute he was excited.

I am still so bloated in fact im up to like 9-10 pounds of fluid. Its freaking me out. I feel like the clinic is pushing it to the side. Im about to make some calls to find out if someone else will see me. I understand im peeing normial but its going up not down. I dont understand if there waiting for it to get severe and why. Its obviously getting worse not better. So im having a tough day physically and emotionally. I cant even stand up straight and my back is killing me.

So far the 2WW hasn't been bad. I'm not tempted to POAS. I just want my beans to stick!!!! When I think about it, I will be driving home tomorrow. Going to DH's job Thursday and Friday to help out (answering the phone), Saturday we are doing the john & Kate thing with friends, Sunday hanging with the parentals, then Monday I head back here. Heck Tuesday will be here before I know it.

I dont know if anyone remembers me, was on a while ago but have had major internet problems and no connection for weeks. Anyway so so so many posts since I was last on, have tried catching up but too much to remember except

Rio, Suga, Katie (hope names are right)- MANY CONGRATS ON THE BFP'S lost of baby glue coming your way, hope you all have a healthy 8 months

Mia and all the other ladies who have had transfer- FINGERS CROSSED FOR BFP'S...im sure there will be many more

As for me FET should be on the 12th, Our hospital was having a refit which went well over there expected completion so all FET'S have been put on hold for 2 weeks. I have been down regging for 6 weeks- arggh. Anyway Had a call 10 days ago to start the estrogen tablets and I am having a scan tomorrow to make sure my lining is thick enough. If all is ok they will confirm the 12th as transfer day so fingers crossed my last 2 frosties survive the thaw.

Good luck to the ladies who are testing soon, I will hopefully update you all with my progress

What do you girls know about assisted hatching?? My RE does this as regular protocol. I am a little nervous. Should a embryo that can't hatch be hatched??

What do all of you know/think about assisted hatching? Have any of you had this done to your embryos? My RE's office does this as part of regular protocol. It makes me a little nervous.

Sage- we signed documents stating we would do assisted hatching. As delicate and complicated as it sounds, I thought the benefits outweighed the risks. Fortunately, because we did a 5-day transfer AH was not needed.
