How low after 2 weeks pregnancy is hCG too low?

Post by Giacomo »

I just received a call from my doctor. She says is positive. This was my first IVF (all paid by us), so I'm actually not counting on having more treatments because we literally cannot afford it. My extraction was done on the 18th of Jan and the doctor transferred the only 2 surviving eggs on the 21st of Jan. I've had what is called implantation blood. I've been so worried, but still waited until the end to get the results. The blood test was done on the 4th of Feb and I just received the results with an hCG coming at 96. I do not know what to think. Isn't that too low? How low is too low? What should be a typical hCGamount for a 2 week pregnancy? I just don't want to get too excited and the be disappointed if this is a deceiving result. Thanks.

Well according to the website 96 is normal for 16 DPO... I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you!

Congrats! Ours was 350, and we had triplets, so it sounds like yours is very normal/good. Sounds like you are on your way to having a baby...Keep us posted
