Hi Girls

Faith - I am glad your chromosome testing came out normal. That has to be a relief on some level. Glad everything is right on track for you!

Welcome Ems - I seem to be obsessed with worrying about 'the thaw'. We just have to try to stay positive, like you said!

Barbarella - thanks for the luck! I am so nervous! (there is some excitement in there, too! :)
How are you feeling? Are you taking it easy?
I don't know much about the grade levels, did your RE say that is good?
oooh, yeah, not looking forward to the full bladder part, that was so hard last time for me, too.
Valentines day IS a good sign! How sweet!

Chrysty -- yeah! glad things are moving right along. Good thing you can change your patches every other day...I had to wear mine for 3 days, and they were sooooo itchy on the third day!

Donnell -- hope all is well!

Tomorrow is my day! yikes! I'll let you know the details.

Hi girls ~ Well I had my transfer today. I have been resting but thought I would update everyone quickly before laying on my lazy butt. I go back to work tomorrow, so I want to take advantage being lazy.

They thawed 3 good embryo's. The first one looked good - came back healthy and they could see the inner core, the second one lost some of the cells during thaw so it was down graded from a good to a good to fair, the third one didn't recover quite as well and was down graded from a good to just a "fair" - they didn't tell me much about that one.

So all in all, we transferred 3 and are praying at least one sticks.

Anywhoo -

Beth ~ Good luck tomorrow - I will be thinking of you - update us when you can. The PIO shots have been a lot harder on me too.

Barbarella ~ Wow - everything sounded like it went wonderful. I am thinking of you. Will you be taking HPT's before your beta draw? I need a POAS buddy - anyone is welcome to join me. :)

Ems ~ Welcome. PMA is wonderful to have - but it sure is hard to keep up. That's why we are all here for each other - this cycle has been a lot harder on me emotionally for some reason.

Chrysty ~ YAY - moving right along now...! Keep us updated on the next step.

Faith ~ Happy to hear everything coming back normal. I also discussed with my DH takig a break if this doesn't work again.

Take care girls!

Donnell

OK that's strange. I can't see my post on the thread and I can't see everyone else's new post - but when I click post a reply, I can see it.

Is it just my computer or the sight???

Hi everybody!

Good to hear everyone's moving right along! Finally huh? Nothing too exciting on my end, just still taking Lupron, and started my estradiol injections Tues. (twice a week) I have never done patches like alot of you, it's always been injectable.

ChristyVOG you're just a few days behind my FET so we'll go through the 2ww together! My next u/s is the 14th.

baby or bust Yay it's finally transfer day!! Make sure you take it easy, especially if you have to work tomorrow!! I am hoping so much for a BFP for you, you deserve it after all those chemicals. Definetely heartbreaking to have so many so this is your time!!!

Barbarella yay for your transfer too!! Bet you're glad it's over, I too was grateful to be able to take a LONG bathroom break afterwork, :D
That would be awsome to get that BFP on Valentines Day! How's acupuncture been going?

Beth GOOD LUCK, let us know how it goes!!

Ems79 Tuesday will be here before you know it, I'm sure your lil' embies will thaw just fine, although it's hard to relax until they tell you so!! I still have 13 days until my transfer..takes forever

Oh yah baby or bust I think it's the site because I thought my computer was going nuts too!!

FET FEB!

Post by Barbarella »

Hi everyone

Yippeeee! It is all going well for everybody.

Donnell - How are you doing. How did you go at work? I keep having energy spurts then tired around 8pm. I am on day 6 (if they class FET day as day one?) and not really had any symptons a few tiny stabbing pains and a bit of very mild cramping but I have a bright red boil on my forehead ...mmm really attractive.he he my DH keeps laughing at me, I guess that is from the progesterone pessaries. I had acupuncture yesterday it was sooooo relaxing. Whatever happens I think I will have acupuncture once a month. My blood test is confirmed Valentines Day! When is yours? I am not bothered about POAS as yet BUT I may want to do it next week nearer the time though. I have everything crossed for you...not that you will need it xxx

Beth- How is it going! Have you got your feet up and being waited on hand and foot. My acupunturist says that in Chinese medicine you are to imagine that you are being waited on by lots of really handsome men..it makes you smile if anything else.

Ems - I know what you mean worrying about the thaw, I was the same as you , Positive thinking is the best thing! Good vibes coming your way. Your new kitchen will take the thoughts of the thaw away as you will be thinking about cupboards and tiles etc. We are starting our extension and it takes my mind off the 2ww a little.

Faith/Chrysty- Fingers x sending happy thoughts and groovy good vibes ...good luck for your U/s scans.

I am hooked on Amercan Idol 2008...Anybody watching it? I think we are a bit behind USA I am watching the selections, so funny...Just like Our X Factor- the selections are hilarious!!

Take care Everybody!!
Good wishes and Happy Hormones making there way to everybody xx

Hi Girls,

Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend. Well, my transfer was yesterday, and we didn't get very good news.
Out of our 4 frosties, only one survived the thaw, and just barely. It lost cells, but we decided to go through with the transfer anyway.

Chances are slim anything will come of it, but I taking it easy this weekend anyway. Life will resume as normal come Monday. I am not going to obsess and get depressed, it made me hug and love my miracle DD even more!

My fingers are crossed for all of you!!!

Beth- sorry to hear that, this is my worse nightmare being told on Tuesday that none of my 2 embies have survived. Remember though it does only take 1 and the best place for him/her is back where he/ she belongs. Take it easy and try to keep a PMA but I know it is VERY VERY HARD

Hope everyone else is ok, sticky vibes and babydust coming our way

I had my last burserelin injection last night (hurrah), they seem to go on forever but I had to start the lovley pessaries. At least it is another step forward to Tuesday.

Hi everyone.

Ems and Barbarella, thank you for trying to keep me postive. I am really ok. I am so belssed to have had my first ivf work for me and to have my daughter, if this works awesome! If not, that's ok, too. I am not sure I want to go through a full ivf again. I will just take some time to enjoy my daughter. I am feeling fine, no symptoms, no exhaustion. nothing. no sadness either...just an empty bank account! :)

I am pulling for all of you!

good luck tomorrow Ems!
I hope I didn't frighten you about the frosties, RE says it doesn't usually happen. Bummer for me.
How is the new kitchen coming along?
Please let us know how it goes tomorrow!

Chrysty and Faith -- you two are next!

Donnell, how are you feeling??

Barbarella -- how cute would it be to get your BFP on Valentine's Day? how are you feeling?
