Hi riogirl-
My husband had a low count and I had a closed tube. We had icsi done on all three tries. I am 19 weeks pregnant and expecting twins. Icsi is a good thing and definitely beneficial. Good luck !

I can add our story to the list. DH has low count, bad morphology, low volume, less than par swimming ability and any other negative thing they test for. ICSI as our only option. We retrieved a ton of eggs, but only 12 were viable. 6 fertilized and 3 made it to transfer (I found some research to suggest that when you get a lot of eggs, perhaps the quality is not great) and now I am 10 weeks pregnant. Of course, there are still quite a few weeks to go before we are out of the woods and many months to go before we are officially parents, but the first few steps have gone well.....GOOD LUCK.
