Good morning ladies :D

So the baseline ultrasound went well found 22 follies :) Stimms began yesterday: brevelle and menopur am and pm shots. So nice to be a pin cushion ;)

So, I'm suppose to run a 10k this saturday. Of course, I'm waivering as to whether I should or should not. I'm to return to the clinic on Sunday to check how the follies are progressing and I'll be working both sat and sun. On top of all that, my soccer/football team has ask that I prep and run a practice on Saturday. I think I will have to forgo running the practice :(

Amy-do you think you might be preggers: fainting, abscent AF? That would be a hoot ;) Thinking of you and wishing you well.

Andrea and Chriss- thinking of you. PMA. Baby dust relaxing vibes.

Pricecake-take care of yourself. keep the faith.

Hey to everyone else. Wishing everyone well.

Hi Andrea, good to hear from you. If you POAS and don't get a BFP DO NOT STOP THE MEDS!!!! Those test are not always accurate. Many people get a BFN on the POAS and go on to be pregnant!!! Sorry you have to wait the extra days. My thoughts are with you.

Pricecake, you sound great. Sounds like you have a good schedule.

Catharine, 22 follies?????? Holy COW! That's unbeleivable. About the running... something tells me you should slow down during the stimms. It's just a gut feeling.

Amy, hi! Yes, I got the book and I've been reading it. It has a lot of good information. I just started it. She says some things that my doctors have never said... she's got me thinking. Good luck with thyroid test.

Welcome treatme. Hang in there. IVF is a long process. Be patient and think good thoughts.

I want to keep up the PMA, but I am a bit sad. My birthday is in March and that's when I had the miscarriage last year. (My bithday weekend to be exact... Happy 40.) Last Valentine's Day I was pregnant and we were overjoyed. This Valentine's Day we have an IVF consult scheduled. OK, you can see I am bumming out right now. I really feel like crying but I am at work. I have to let myself grieve a little. But I know, I know, PMA, PMA. I'm trying. Just emotional at the moment. -chriss

Good morning Ladies :D

I hope this post finds everyone well.

I thought my last post didn't make it :? , but I see now after getting to post a reply page that it has. Not certain why it didn't show on the board page :?

Chriss-I was sadden to read about your 2007 b-day and valentine's day story. Please, know that I'm thinking of you. I certainly know how you feel. 2008 is a new year with renewed hope for us all. Your posts are so uplifting to us here. It pains me to feel your pain in your last post. I hope you can rally up some PMA to see you and DH through these difficult dates.

okay as for me I'm trying to slow down, so hard to. I've reduced my weekly workout schedule [cut it in half] to start. This is really difficult as my gaelic football team has begun speed and agility training. No worries, i'm not participating. It's just very mentally challenging for me to stay on the sidelines. It's that over competitive nature in me I suppose. I think I will continue jogging through this weekend. then I'll change to walking as the follies should have significantly grown [translation ovaries enlarging as well] by then. Have decided to forgo the coaching, not enough time in the day to accomodate all the activities asked of me. Trying to keep the PMA going here. Lots of mental relaxation exercises to get me through work and the stimms.

Wishing everyone all the best,

Ooops! sorry for the triple post.

Something's up witht he website message board. When I went to post it gave me a screen that stated in Debug Mode. Which I erroneously took for it didn't post my reply. I was wrong. In addition I still see Amy as the last post from a few days ago although Chriss and I have posted since then. I will try to contact the person in charge of the site to pass along these issues.

Hi everyone,

I've been thinking about you Andrea. Wondering if you POAS during the weekend. Good luck today with BETA! Hoping & Praying for your BFP! We are here whichever way it goes. Looking forward to the good news.

Amy, I got the Zita West book. I've been reading it. It's better than a lot of the books I've seen so far. Thanks for the recommendation.

Jenbabes! A BLAST FROM THE PAST! So very good to hear from you. I know all about the 12 vials of blood. Hang in there Jen. We all know how difficult this is. Thinking of you

Catharine, how did the scan go? Hope the follies are big & juicy. Won't be long now.

Hi Joanna, glad that you came to the right decision for you. Do you have a timeline? Have you started formally looking into DE? I look forward to hearing your updates. DE is something that I have been thinking about in the back of my mind.

Welcome treatme. Try to be patient with the whole IVF process. It takes time, especially for us older and wiser gals. You are in the right place for support.

Pricecake, how are you?

I went for progesterone check today and my veins were too hard! She had to poke me 3 times before she got any blood. UGH! Still have another week of waiting to see what happens with this IUI. PLease do not make a me thread for me on the day I am testing (Jenbabes) It makes me too nervous and it's too difficult to deal with especially if BFN. Thanks for understanding about this one. Happy day to all, -chriss
