Don't laugh but...

Post by LostGirl »

I am 8 weeks pregnant today and have what I consider an odd problem. My crotch hurts. Not crazy pain, but more like I spent 2 hours horseback riding and so ache down there.

I know what you're thinking! That I'm finally enjoying getting the OK for intercourse again. But I assure you it's not that.

I'm perplexed. I've read of pregnant women having ligament pulling/stretching further down the line, but I'm only 8 weeks along.

Any advice is appreciated.

I wish I could help you LostGirl. The last time I had itching like that was when I was on Doxycycline or I had an UTI. I was taken off of the Doxy right away. And I couldn't use any topical creams to calm the itch down. I just had to ride it out.

The only thing that I'm feeling is the pressure on the lowest abdomen area ... between the two points where we got our stims shots. It hurts especially when I laugh.

Sorry I couldn't be of much help.

LostGirl....Guess what....from the moment I had found out I was pregnant..I have had this HORRIBLE groin pain..and you know how I explained it to the nurses...like I have been riding a horse for 40 days, or had sex 30 times in 10 days! Not that I am glad you have this same pain....but I must admit, this is the first time that I have heard someone have the same problem as me! Glad I am not crazy.... it continually got worse.

SO finally..I went to the chiropracter..and I am a believer....I am not into that whole side (accupuncture....chiro..etc) but MY GOODNESS! IT WORKED! and I only went once. Now my back still hurts, but am hoping it will get better! The Chiro Dr said that pain is actually from your pelvis being pulled in the wrong direction, or something. Are you having twins? I am. Not sure if that has something to do with it.

Good luck..and if it gets worse...I am telling you...got to the Chiropracter!
