Sassy, I got chills reading your update. I'm excited and hopeful for you. 4 transfered, wow! What if you end up with quads?? Wouldn't that be fun. 2 is hard work, but I wouldn't change a thing, they are so worth it. So now the 2ww.... I can hardly wait. Take good care of yourself. I'll keep looking for your updates. Sticky baby dust.

Hello girls~

I hope everyone had a great weekend! The weather here was gorgeous so DH and I bought a boatload of flowers and plants and mulch and redid our front flower bed. Now the dying of those poor plants will commence! We attempt to have curb appeal a couple times a year b/c as homeowners we feel it is our duty to so, but we suck at keeping things alive!! I hope our child fairs better than the poor plants outside!

I am so happy for you Sassy!! Looks like you had a great turnout for your thaw!! I can't wait for the beta. Keeping you and your dh in my prayers. Isn't princess status great!

Fee~ I believe you predicted tomorrow as a birthday for Anna Claire...Let's hope you are right! If not, as head gypsy of the sisterhood, you will have to predict another date. I will let you know tomorrow.

I go to the Dr. in the morning. Let's hope she says something good like, "go to the hospital now, you are in labor and you just aren't feeling anything!" I have to have her soon because if my right foot swells up anymore I will have to fashion some sort of shoe out of leaves and string! Which will look odd b/c my left foot is still long and slender! My flip flops are VERY tight and leave marks, and putting on a shoe with a top is out of the question. No tennis shoes for me. Not to mention I am scaring small children with my gigantic foot.

Going to eat dinner! Mark the date down...I COOKED!! Take care everyone!
Jenn

Mia and Aunty-- fabulous to hear from both of you! Thanks for the well wishes!

Jenn-- So what'd the Dr. say... huh? huh? Do we have baby yet? Or soon???

Patie-- congrats on getting appt for lap. Good for you. I imagine the 3 weeks will go quickly... especially with how busy you are!

Feels good to be up and around and off bedrest, although in deference to dh I took today off work and I am doing a lot of movie-watching and picture-taking (of my grandmother's album)--- basically a lot of resting.
A friend is coming over to watch Hairspray this afternoon... the perfect 2ww distraction!

Hope you are all well!

Sassy- I am so excited for you.. Wow, imagine if all 4 of them took. That would be a lot of excitement for us sistas. I guess I could sacrifice and come help you take care of them:)

Pati- I am so proud of you for getting your appointment. You will feel much better after all is said and done.

Jenn- Well....we are all waiting on pins and needles for any news from you. Can't wait to hear how the appointment...or birthing went.
Gardening....when you get a chance, I think you should head up to my neck of the woods and plant some plants for me. With our Texas weather as it is, I have a hard time spending the money on plants that will last for only a week or so.

Fee- You are so lucky that you get to work from home part time. I so wish that I could teach classes from home. Not sure if I would have the discipline down as well as I do know though. I am sure Rio will really love having mommy close by. Of course I am sure your husbnad will do a great job.

Tino- I cannot believe that you are already 12 weeks. It seems like just yesterday you were having ET. I am going to predict that you are going to have a little girl....they say that 90% of invitro patients have girls so.....

Well, nothing new with me. Just busy teaching, teaching, teaching. DD has been sick with the yuck that has been going around. Fortunately it's just fever...not vomitting...yet.
Hope everyone is doing well.

Just a quickie as I have to rush off home to let the phone man in to fix my phone line!

Sass! I'm so thrilled for you that is a great result. Talk about a mega 2ww...how are you coping??? Sounds like the movie afternoon is a great idea, I'm hoping to catch a tele movie about Heidi Fleiss... I never pretended to be highbrow...

Patie good on you for getting the appt, I hope that you will have your mind put at rest after that one...

Jenn, todays the day, good luck and welcome to the world Anna Claire. Nice work on the gigantic foot. What's that about??? My feet swelled up massively but at least both of them did that. This swollen foot thing really flies in teh face of the sisterhood founding principle of glamous feet.

Robbo, I am thrilled about being able to work from home. A dream come true.

Tina your work situation sounds rough in that you can only take such a short mat leave. But like you said I'm sure things will work themselves out...

Oh well better be off! Back soon on my own phone line hopefully???

PS where's Vicky???

Hello ladies...

Jenn...still hanging? how was cooking? i am enjoying these days that mom is here! although she's staying at my brother's house but i pass by almost every day and get the "daily dish"...so no cooking here!

Sassy...how is the 2ww? when is it officially over?

Angie...sorry ur boss is making you work hard! he should know better!

what are your plans for Valentine's day??? i am not much in a festive mood...and asked DH to let it slip away...and not get any gifts!!!

Well other then that if I may vent a bit..... I am feeling a bit low these days....i feel like running away and leaving everything behind and not turn back! I am surrounded by pregos and new borns and its just starting to kick in!!! i am all alone in this! last saturday at the baby shower i was silent the whole time...nothing to talk about cos all were talking about their babies and stuff and there was 4 pregos there!

I am sorry ladies ...don't get me wrong i am happy for all of them seriously....but i want that too and beleive it or not i am not ready for another IVF! SOS....

hugs to all!

Sorry sista's for my dissapearance!!!!!. I have been very very busy, but have been following all of your progress!!

Sassy......I am soooooo excited for you!!!, I can't wait until Monday!!!!!!!.

Fee.....thanks for asking about me,you are so sweet!!!. It's such great news that you can work from home, I think it is perfect, because you can distract your mind a bit from Nogs but at the same time you are with him all the time, that is great!!!!

Jenn.....is Anna Claire here yet??, please give us an update!!!!

I'll send more personals later, sorry for those I missed, I will get back to you later

I am doing good, I can't believe I am half way through the pg already, I never thought this moment was ever going to arrive. I am showing now, so people now realize I am pg and not just a big fat pig

Vicky: so good to hear from you again. Wow. How time flies. Hard to believe you are at 20 weeks! How are you feeling?

Jenn: I'm thinking Anna has arrived. If so, I hope the labor was short and epidural-assisted

Patie
: *ouch* on the baby shower. I had one last week and was pleased that I truly couldn't attend (I had my transfer on Friday). So I sent a present and my regrets. That is pretty much what I do for every shower now a days. I'm sorry you are bummed. I have found that as all of my friends, and most of my acquaintances have children, I can feel a bit isolated at times. *hugs*

Angie: ooooo, showing your boss what is what sounds like a job for the AG! Or maybe Fee since she is at least it the same hemisphere. what is he thinking? A woman in your fragile state should be "working" with her feet up on the desk eating bon-bons with frequent internet chatting breaks

Fee: Congrats on the part-time work from home thing! One of my dh's paralegals did that for a year or two (until she moved) and it worked out real well. I hope the same for you.

Robbo: Sounds like you Texans are going to be hit with some Texas-sized storms in the next few days  . Hold on to your hats down there!

Well girls... here is the update.

I gave into the evil HPT. Me... who has always waited until 8dpt AT LEAST before giving in... caved on 5dpt which was yesterday  . Partially b/c if it turned out I AM actually pregnant, I wanted to surprise dh at our fancy dinner tonight (what better Valentine's Day present?). Partially b/c I was having a heavy sensation and mild cramping (different than AF cramps) which I have never had before. Partially b/c I figured what did I have to lose? As I fully expect this to be my last 2ww... why not "test it out"?

Yesterday there was a very faint line. The kind you have to look at in the right light and maybe squint a bit to see. Today... it is much darker. It appears I am "with child". Now don't worry... I am not planning when my first US will be, much less picking out colors for the nursery. I am well aware next week at this time I may no longer be pregnant.

But today (if just for today)... I am knocked up. **

** This is the first time in 6+yrs of ttc that I have seen a second line. To be honest, I really didn't believe it. I must have taken it out a dozen times yesterday to look at it!
