Just got back from having my b/w. now...

My nurse called me out of the lab area and started hugging me and the phlebotomist said a prayer while drawing my blood. DH just called wanting to know the results and I had to tell him to chill. We still have 2 -3 more hours to wait.

Sage- There's nothing wrong with 3. PMA!!!!

Mia- have you cracked yet??? I bet you have and you're just not telling us.

JWC- Don't be discouraged. I can't think of the website that had some good info on that kind of thing. It may have been here or fertility plus. ...Rio, do you know which site I'm talking about?

Marin/EMS- good luck today

Rio- how's it going? Are you measuring down?

doddo- good luck Wednesday. Lots of healthy eggs.!!

xtressa- this is a great site for support. And kuddos to you for taking steps before all of this to get healthy.

Hi Ladies -

I found your discussion board for January/ February after my ET. I was afraid to join b.c you had so many BFP that I got scared that for some reason it wouldn't work for me.

BFP last night and this morning it is still faint but I am def. More pregnant then I was last night.

I still can't believe it as we transferred a BB, BC and a CB blastocyst..... I thought for sure it wouldn't stick b.c we had no AA blastocysts.

we go in on friday for a beta. I am feeling optomistic that it is going to work.

#1 IVF/ PGD and Microsort - due to x-linked carrier status for hemophilia - First son was born with severe hemo. A - no family history - found out the gene mutated in me when I was born - Girls can only be carriers of the disorder.

ER - 1/29
12 eggs retrieved, 11 fertilized, 5 made it to PGD, 3 became OK blastocysts
ET 2/3 transferred 3 girls
HPT + 2/11
#1 Beta - 2/15

My nurse just called me and my b/w came back at 352! She told me that although nothing is certain until the u/s, prepare for twins!

I'm still crying. Of course I had to call DH and tell him. I won't see him until Friday, when he comes to pack up our things for the move. But that is also my birthday, so we will definetly go out and celebrate then!!!!

Congratulations weezie!!! Wow!! Ok ladies, I have question for those of you that tested early. I had a 5 day transfer done last Tuesday. My beta is scheduled for the 19th which is next Tuesday. When is the earliest that I can test at home?

jcw: Was this your 1st beta? I don't know what they should be. Did the RE say it was low? I am praying for it to start doubling!!

Doddo: 5times! This will be it! ER on Wednesday - it will be here before you know it!

Well I am still tempted as heck, but you girls are helping me - knowing how mean I was to yall tempting you to pOAS during your 2WW and saying I wouldn't is actually helping me!! Plus I want to tell dh on vday and I would not be able to keep quiet for two days!!! 48 more hours!!

kildean- goto fertilityplus.org there is a table of contents and one of the topics is about HCG. It really depends on how much you triggered with. I triggered with 5,000 units and was able to test 10 days after trigger.

Sage- my beta is 352. And we transferred (2) 4AA blast. So I really have to think twins are in our future! I still cannot believe this.

Hopin- Please don't over do it by working. If you need rest, then rest. Take care of yourself and get well soon.

Hello all, this is my second posting (my first was 2 minutes ago!)
I have my ET tomorrow at 10.30am following ICSI last Friday.
I have 4 embryos at blastocyst stage, I am nervous but more than a little excited!

Is there any questions anyone recommends I ask the hospital team?

Apologies for my lack of abbreviations, am still getting my head around them!

ps are the progesterone pessaries gross, I would have preferred to keep injecting!

Kyw: Hi and welcome! Good Luck tomorrow! You made it to the blast stage...that is a wonderful sign of good things to come. You could ask them the grades...otherwise I cant think of any questions at this point.

Weezie: I think Mia missed your big post. Congratulations!!!! Twins would be wonderful...Good Luck! How many days past ovulation were you when your beta was taken?

Kildean: I would wait until Friday. You would be 15 days past ovulation...and it shouldnt be too early. If you wanta be real sure that it is not too early...then wait till Sunday. Good Luck.

I am now finally tired. I have only slept about 10 hours since last Thurs morning....till last night. I had a bout of insomnia. Today, I am finally more rested but still tired and I just feel like crying for no reason. I am sure this is normal. LOL

kyw- Good luck tomorrow. I had no questions. We discussed the procedure with RE before, signed the consent to having 2 transfered, and then I was undressing and being wheeled into the procedure room immediately. Oh yeah. And even if I did have questions, there was no way I was wasting time asking...I remember I had to pee soooo bad. And of course I was not allowed. So, I just wanted to get it over with so I could have them empty my bladder.
