Good Morning Ladies!
And the countdown continues. Not much new to update but I do have a few things to report. Last night I kinda felt a little crappy. I got this weird dizziness/lightheadedness that was weird. It didn't last long maybe a minute or 2 but then I just felt blah after. I had it once a couple of weeks ago-can't remember if it was before or after ET though. I would almost say it was virtigo-ish. Although I've never had virtigo only symptoms that i've heard about. My lower back also was a little achy. So naturally this was enough to start freak me out and I was off and running researching ectopic/tubal pregnancy. I even actually considered calling my clinic to get a 3rd beta today. But these symptoms are also early pregnancy symptoms so I just need to relax get some exercise and stop being a whackjob. How is everyone else doing today?

Good morning!! Rebecca, you make me laugh!! "stop being a whackjob". I remember from my previous pregnancies, although they were a long time ago, that I did get boughts of dizziness. It only lasted a short while but is really quite freaky. My s-i-l actually passed out while at the salon getting her hair done. Just slipped right out of the chair on to the floor. She looks back on it and laughs but at the time she was pretty scared. I think that dizziness is a good sign, though we really don't want to be dizzy. Driving, walking, sitting on the potty can all be inhibited by dizziness  .

I woke up feeling just awful this morning. Had a hard time eating breakfast, just had some fresh cantalope with a little salt and pepper. I have started to feel better but was so thirsty throughout the night. Got up and drank several glasses of water. Wierd because I know I am not dehydrated, I drink water constantly all day long. I hope everyone else is doing well.

Good Morning,

Nothing new to report on my end of things, but Hoekey I found it interesting that you were so thirsty at night. I've been dying of thirst every night for the past week but I keep thinking it is just because our house is dry (even given the humidifier we have going 24/7). Anyway, I have to remember to put a glass of water next to my bed each night because by the time I get up, go downstairs, get a drink and get back to bed, I am wide awake!

I keep kidding my DH that we are having triplets and he doesn't think it is funny! I was on betabase yesterday just to see and apparently my beta at 14dpo was above the medium betas listed for triplets - yikes!!! I think he might faint if that is what it ends up being! But who knows. I actually think it is going to be twins.

Hope everyone has a fantastic day today!!!

Kellym, I do hope you are blessed with twins. How exciting!!!! Triplets would be even better, but wow, what a challenge. It is going to be so hard for all of us to wait until the 27th to find out. You hang in there!! This is crazy, I am dying to have my U/S but I am also just as excited to hear the news about all you girls' U/Ss too.

We have the humidifier going round the clock too. I always sleep with a glass of water next to the bed. Usually I don't even touch it but last night had to refill it

Well, it's off to work for me. Have a good day girls!!

Hi Ladies,

Thanks for starting this as today has been a really rough day for me. I am 4w 6d. My first beta on 13dp3dt was 302 (Friday). My doctor's office said that they didn't need to see me back for a second beta and u/s is scheduled for 2/28. I will be 7 weeks by that time. I broke down today and called my regular ob and asked if they would do another beta. I have not been able to sleep or think of anything else. I seemed to have more symptoms on Saturday and they just about disappeared on Sunday and Monday...which makes me act like a crazy person  .

Four years ago I was traumatized by a horrible loss in which I went from being pg one minute to the next min they thought i was never pg but had a rare form of brain/liver cancer and wanted to do exploratory surgery and chemo right away. It took 6 weeks of having to go to OB/Gyn's and the exploratory surgery for them to figure out it was probably an ectopic making my HCG numbers go down. After my exploratory surgery, my numbers started going down.

You don't know much it helps me to hear some of you guys doing some of the same things I am. Being pg again is wonderful but it also brings up a lot of painful memories for me and I thought I was losing it. :? I'm glad to hear that some of you don't have a lot of symptoms, which makes me feel so much better. I am trying to trust in God and relax and take it day by day.

cincinnatidreams - Welcome to the board! I am sure you will find lots of support here. I am so sorry to hear about your loss and subsequent surgery. Hang in there! This is a really tough time because we all just want to know that everything is ok, but the time between the tests etc...seems like an eternity.

Kalen and Hoekey - I have been really thirsty too, but not during the night. I just wake up craving water. Today my nausea is worse. I was only getting it in the afternoons, but today it started right after breakfast and hasn't quit yet. When I complain to my DH he says that I get no sympathy from him because he is so excited that I have pregnancy symptoms. He pretty much cheers when I say I don't feel well. In a way it is cute how excited he is! I got the vertigo thing once but that was two weeks ago and nothing since. I was in the grocery store and got dizzy, cold and felt like I was going to faint. It went away quickly, but scared me. I wonder if it is from the progesterone?

Hope everyone is doing great today!

So glad to hear that I am not the only one being a "whackjob" :D :D I am so moody today, I feel like crying for no good reason. I have also been really dizzy and feel like I am in a fog, I forget everything and can't even think straight. I don't have nausea and I keep looking for symptoms. I think all of our REs should give us betas once a week just to make us less insane! :D this wait is killing me, I need to know how many babies (hopefully 2) and if they are still there and ok! :D :D Yickes I am driving myself insane! I am so glad you girls started this post so that we can all be insane together during this wait for u/s!
Cinci - sorry about what you had to go through, that is so scary, you are very brave!
Kelly- is your ovultaion day considered the ER or ET for the beta base?
to all girls - keep the PMA and the posts coming - keeps me less insane :)

rio & gec- thanks for the words of encouragement.

By the way...don't give me any ideas about getting a weekly blood test. I am crazy enough to do that. I could go to my general md one week, my old ob the next.....just kidding.

Cinci - I hope that you were able to get your second beta. I have had 2 previous chemicals so I didn't feel completely at ease until my second beta - I know how you are feeling!

Rio - the ovulation day is the same as the ER for us IVFers.

Gecko - sorry to hear about your nausea but it is a good sign!! I can understand why your DH would be happy about it. My mom gets giddy when I tell her I feel horrible!

Hoekey - hope that you are having a great day! I can't wait until next week to hear about the results of all your u/s!

Kalen - how are you doing today hun? sorry to hear about your dizzy-spell, that is a bit scary.

Better get back to work!!!

Does anyone know how early you can see a heartbeat in your first u/s? I have mine on 6 weeks and 3 days, would that be too early?

cinci- WoooHooo!!!!! I am so glad you got the second beta test. Now you can relax and start to enjoy being pregnant! I hope you plan to celebrate. What good, strong numbers too!

riogirl- My doctor told me that they would be able to see the heartbeat at my first u/s which is scheduled for the 19th. I will be 6w6days by then. The would have scheduled it several days earlier but because of the President's Day holiday it is delayed. So, it sure sounds like you should see a heartbeat when you go at 6w3days. I can't wait to hear your results!

Cinci:WOW, what a fabulous number!!! I am so happy for you. When is your U/S scheduled? I bet you are on cloud nine.

Well, at about 10:00 this morning I was hit with a pretty severe bought of nausea. I haven't thrown up but have felt very close to it. I am not cooking tonight, hubby is bringing something home. Yeah!! I have been very hungry for this sub from Jimmy Johns, the beachbum I think it is called. The Beach somthing anyway. He is picking it up for me. I had leftover mashed potatoes with gravy for lunch. Really the only thing that sounded palletable. But once I ate it I felt awful. Hope that doesn't happen after eating my longed for sub.

I think that we are going to have a few girls with multiples on this board. I really feel that mine is a singleton, but the rest of you girls have such high strong numbers there have got to be some multiples in there. I can't wait to find out!!!!

rio: I think that you'll be able to see the heartbeat too. You should be able to see it at 6 weeks, and this early in the pregnancy things move so quickly that the extra 3 days should do it. Sometimes if you had late implantation you won't be able to because you are not as far along as you thought. But you had great numbers from the beginning, so...I can't wait!!! I am so excited for all of us.
