Hey everyone--

Well I had a nice bday...thanks for asking. I got alot of clothes, which is what I wanted. I had dinner at my parents last night. I was busy at work today, so the day didnt really feel special. I got a call from the RE today. BC for awhile. Different protocol this time. No lupron, something else, I dont remember what it is, then flooistum is the same. Tentative ER March 13th. Possible 3 or 5day transfer depending on how the embies look this time. So that was some good news, I though I would be at least a week behind that, so its closer thanI thought. 4 weeks and I will be a ER again. :D Ill do personals later

Neffi211 - Just to confirm, as esperanza said CD stands for Cycle Day. :D

Esperanza - Thank you I really appreciate it. Im feelin a lil better today.

WashingtonDA-Good luck with your ultrasound!

andnichole - Best wishes for a good beta tomorrow!!

TammyS - Im feelin a lil better, my throat is really really bothering me. Still no AF.. However:

The Nurse called me today asking me when the first day of my last cycle was.. I told her 12/31. She said she would call me back. She talked to the dr and called me back, they called me in a prescription to get my cycle going.

Can I tell you i just took the first pill about an hour ago and Im already getting cramps...? WOAH is all Ican say. I have enough for 7 days, i figured it would take a few days.. I hope its not really bad, Im nervous that its going to cause a lot of pain and chaos.

They told me to call them the day i start my period and they will schedule my transfer. So If it starts this week.. I would say the First week of march will be my transfer. So like the 4-5th. If not then it will be the 2nd week of March. how frustrating... Ill keep you posted!

amy2410 - I hope AF comes for you soon dear!

Andnichole - You look like your the one that may bring the twins to our thread. That third beta was a knock out. I am so happy for you. Shady Grove has proven to do us good huh. I have a girl that I work with who is ready to embark on IVF and is using the same facility and doc that I did. She also used Shared Risk like I did. Did you do the Shared Risk Program?

Well, I have my first U/S tomorrow and am very excited. Will post when I get home to let you'll know how everything went. I waited so long because DH was in California visiting his parents last week and I didn't want him to miss out on this since he's been so good with this whole process.

Praying that everything is where it is supposed to be and at 7 weeks 1 day, we're hoping to see the heartbeat....our a couple of heartbeats. 8) 8)

I am eating everything in the kitchen so I could be feeding for more than two.

well good night to all you lovely ladies. Hoping to post good news tomorrow. I won't keep you'll waiting. My U/S is scheduled for 9:30am and it's about a 2 hour drive so I should be posting something around noonish!!

good luck today, washingtonda! so good of you to wait till DH was home to be able to share in this experience together! can't wait to hear about everything you heard and saw!

mrs. g - how are you feeling? hope AF shows up soon for you and isn't as bad as you expect from the cramps you're feeling --Funny, your last AF was 12/31, mine was 1/1... My RE seems to be waiting for the results from my b/w to give me further instruction...that will be tomorrow.
good luck to you with your upcoming FET!

neffi - glad to hear your protocol is being changed a bit. I've got my fingers crossed that it will be the right mix to give you your BFP! 4 weeks is not a long time to wait till ER!

esperanza - think it is a great idea that you're working on cutting down your stress level by taking fewer classes and staying a bit on the sidelines. think that is important for success with ivf. what does your new timeline look like for your FET?

andnichole - wow - your beta numbers are amazing -- looks like that little one(s) is doing well! congratulations again!

will check in again later! xx Amy

Well ladies -- Had my U/S today and there is one little bean in there just doing great!!!. We saw the heartbeat very plainly and it was so amazing. I will try to post the sono picture later when I get home.

I have another U/S on 2/25 and that will be the last vist with the clinic. They are referring me to their high risk pregnancy doc for one visit for them to do the Nuchal test sometime after my next U/S and the specialist will graduate me to my regular OBGYN. He will be the doc that transfers the regular OBGYN all my IVF medical data. So it looks like two more clinic visits and than I graduate.

They also stopped Children's Aspirin today and cut my Estridol tablets back to one a day verses two. He advised me to continue the progesteron suppositories at least until my next docs visit.

Andnichole -- Looks like you'll have to bring the first set of twins to our thread!!!

Tammy- I am going to both right now, my clinic and my obgyn. My obgyn originally referred me to the clinic, and the clinic referred me back to her when I was just over 8 weeks. The clinic does not let us go right away though. They do a 10 wk and 12 wk visit and then they release us. They do that because they said that most of their ivf patients feel more comfortable with frequent first trimester updates, which I like about them, and totally agree with. I have had a lot of ultrasounds, and each one makes me feel more comfortable. I have my last appt with the clinic on Thursday of this week, which is about 11 and a half weeks.

Washingtonda- congrats on your one bean and heartbeat, so glad is went well. Can't wait to see the pic.

Neffi0 glad you had a nice birthday!

Andnichole- congrats on another strong beta, you may be the first one on our thread with twins!

As for me, I am going to enjoy my relaxing tuesday night while it snows, and I hope for a delay or cancellation tomorrow, I could really use a day off!

Hi everyone. Sorry for the delay in responding, I have been swamped at work.

Washingtonda: That is awesome that you have a healthy little bean in there! Shady Grove Fertility has done us well! It is so nice hearing ahead of time what I can expect at SGF as far as appts and ultrasounds. I didn't do their Shared Risk Program. B/c I had lost a tube to an ectopic pregnancy back in October my insurance actually covers IVF. DH and I feel very fortunate about this b/c there is no way we could have afforded to do IVF without the insurance.

TammyS: That is an awesome first beta!! Can't wait to hear your next results. You asked about another beta but my Re only does 3 betas so I am done with those.

Neffi211: My first u/s is this Monday, Feb. 18.

Amy2410 and CT-Michele: Thanks for the well wishes. I will definitely update you all once I get home from the u/s on Monday. My appt. is at 9:00AM.

I had a slight bit of brown spotting this morning which was a little worrysome. This was the first spotting I had. I talked to the nurse and she said not to worry that it was common but to let them know if it became red. Even though they tell you not to worry I still am concerned. When I was pregnant with my daughter I had bright red spotting (and had a midwife tell me over the phone that I was probably misscarrying and there was nothing they could do). Turns out my progesterone was low and I had to go on progesterone supplements but since I am already taking those I know that it can't be low progesterone causing me to spot. I am keeping my fingers crossed that I don't have anymore spotting.
