ET is done! We had 4 high grade blastocysts today and 2 more than are almost there. We transferred 1 and froze the other 3. they may freeze the other 2 tomorrow if they look good. It was a debate between 1 and 2 but since everything looked so good and we are really scared about having more than 1 at once, we decided to go with 1. Dr said 5-10% chance of splitting 1 into 2 anyway so we could still get 2 but not 3 or 4.

I am lying on the sofa now watching movies. DH went to get us lunch. This is somewhat relaxing to HAVE to stay lying down ! The dog is the only one unhappy with this... no long walk today!

Congratulations MIA!

MIA: I have been thinking about you all day!!! Congratulations! I am so excited for you!!

My ER has been pushed back. IT was supposed to be tomorrow, but when I went for BW and u/s Wednesday, my follies were only at about 14mm. They didnt up my dose, which was a first, so I think my follitism actually kicked in and started working. :D :D

We are hoping for ER on Monday. Oh and get this! I needed a root canal today!!!!! Can you believe that?? In the middle of IVF, like I am not stressed enough! :x :x

We girls BABY DUST to all!!! Oh, one last question, is Tylenol and Asprin the same? I know I cant Ibprophen (sp?), but is tylenol ok??

HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!!!

Mia - I just wanted to say congratulations!!!! :) I am really happy for you!!! I just knew it was going to work for you. And what a beautiful day we are having down here for you to get such wonderful news. Valentine's Day will always mean something special to you now!!! :D And don't worry about the cramps - I had them every day up through at least 7 weeks and it totally freaked me out. Trust me - it is normal. I ran to my clinic at 5 weeks swearing I was losing the baby. One quick scan later and there was the sac and the yolk sac right where it should be - they always teased me after that!!! :D Our bodies go through so much in this process that my RE said it is normal to get the cramps, aches, etc...esp early on. Our ovaries have been through a lot of work! So, good luck - Enjoy the moment! Don't fret about every little thing (like I have!!) because it is all good!!! :D :D :D

My very best to you and all the ladies with their BFP's...and to those still waiting, hang in there. It is a tough journey, but so worth it. I think we all appreciate it so much more in the end after working so hard to get there!! Good luck to you all.

MIA: YAYAYAYAYAYYAYAYAYAY WOOOOOHOOOOO!!!! I KNEW IT! I KNEW IT WOULD HAPPEN!!! And, welcome to the multiples crowd....looks like my numbers!! haha.

Monday: Ultrasound and so excited!! I want to see my babies!!

Ok, so the past 2 nights (TMI for some) I have woken up really wet to where I think it is bleeding....but it is not....just lots of wetness. Has anyone heard of this? Also, not as tired as I was a few weeks ago...which kinda scares me for some reason....I have gotten to the point that I am hungry though a lot more. No nausea still which I am thankful.

Here is Fert Report.
Out of the 18 eggs that were collected, 14 were mature. Only 8 ferilized with ICSI. How depressing. I thought more would fertilize. What is wrong with my eggs? Is it because I am 35? Anyways, we are doing a blast transfer at 6 days so Tuesday will be our transfer day. I am trying to decide if we should transfer 2 or 3 blasts.

Last time we did a FET with three blasts, one must have started to implant because I got the BFP, then it died.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Donna Oddo
