love bug- tylenol and aspirin are not the same. my re said I could take tylenol after er but no advil. Advil, ibuprofen, aspirin are all similar drugs- NSAIDS, non steroidal antiiflammatories. Tylenol is completely differnt. I think they will tell you tylenol is ok but you should ask to be sure.
sorry about the root canal!

Congratulations for the BFP's
I can't believe how many posts there have been since tues when I last logged on.

My ET went well, they only transferred one blastocyst and froze 2 others - they don't like putting more than one in at my hosp as the rate of multiples has sky rocketed. Maybe it is a new uk rule.

I agree with you Marin - it is nice to lie around for a change, although I think I have pressure sore now from being in one position too long.

Donna did you have your FSH levels tested when you started trying? I am 33 but mine were really high and apparently for me to be able to have 5 eggs fertilised was quite an achievement.

Anyway - have been sat up for at least 10 minutes now must go and lie down  DH may get the idea that I am not as much an invalid as I am making out. Mind you he has gone off to play football (sorry soccer!) on Valentines

doddo - don't fret- your numbers are great- I think from what happened with me, and a lot of the other women on this site, 50% successful ICSI/Fert is great- I mean some of the follies were not mature enough - that's happened to most! so take it easy - rest up and get yourself psyched for ET!

now that i am pregnant, I am having a very hard time addressing my emotions. I am unable to tell anyone at school why i am so tired and weepy- they all think i'm upset about my sculpture not working out quite as planned - but actually I don't really care about it at all- way to focused on what's really going on. I cannot wait until my 1st ultrasound- it will be Feb 27th - yippee!!!! then it will seem real, and I may be able to spill the beans a bit...

for now- much love to all of my lovely bumpin buddies and bumpin buddies to be!

I'm thinking about all of you and the 17 BFPs we've got going here

BUMPIN' 08

i think i'm gonna make some t-shirts, too

I just woke up from sleeping all day after ET. Out of the 13 fertilized 9 were grade 2 or 3. The remaining 4 they are watching until day 5 to see if they do better. I had two grade 3 (8 cell embryos transferred). The valium wasn't bad at all. I actually felt like I had been drinking! I did get embie pics which was very cool! I also got an u/s pic of where they transferred them.

It's driving me nuts having to stay in bed, but I know it will be worth it.

Sage - I'm glad everything went ok for you today. Now for the 2WW wait! I noticed you have your beta test on 2/25. I have to wait until 2/26.

doddo- loopie is exactly right, not all eggs are mature enough to fertilize at the same time. I had 10 follies and 7 eggs but only 4 were mature enough to fertilize. The follies grow at different rates. So don't worry about the fert rate, you should have strong embies and that's what is important.
Loopie- I am having a hard time with my emotions at work too and not being able to tell people why I am cranky or upset! When are you coming over to the "other" side with us?
Come on BFPers! Come on over to the pregnant after treatment side too! Mia did it! :D We need a big crowd there discussing our upcoming u/s!!!
aims237/Marin/Sage/kyw You are all PUPO!!!
Corny- it only takes one special little fighter - keep the PMA!!! You are part of this post family and you will get your BFP!

My butt is taking a beating from PIO and starting to get lumpy and hard, any other spots we can do the shots?

Thank you for the support. I had my FSH tested before this cycle, it was a 7. So i was ok with that. I am very bloated. How many of you did a blastocyst transfer?
I guess my embryo's arent too bad, right? or they wouldnt do a blast transfer? Last cycle, FET we have frozen blasts and they thawed just fine. I just don't know why they won't implant.

Please dear lord, give us a bfp! We really want a baby!!!

I am so happy for everyone here. I have never seen so many BFP's!!!

Just thought I'd update and say my level at 19dpo was 780!!!!!  apparrently this could be twins but will know more in two weeks!!! Did any of you girls have a similar level???
Totally chuffed!!!!!
And for all of you girls in the 2WW I didn't, and STILL don't have any symptoms... :) maybe a bit tired, but then again this whole IVF stuff does that to us anyway!!! So chins up and positive baby vibes to all of you even if you don't feel pregnant!!

We've just got back from the clinic and my beta had gone down to 47 so I've miscarried, now just waiting for it to expell naturally so I hope it doesn't take too long.

to say we are devestated it putting it mildly but we will be back in april.

I hope everything goes really well for everyone.
