Hi ladies
i caved today and poas and i'm glad to post that DS will be a big brother . I had my little fella carry the pee stick around to everyone in my family and of course they curiously say "oh what have you got" and then you sit back and watch their faces when they realize what it means.

I can't beleive this thread and how lucky we have all been i'm so glad i joined the luckiest thread on the boards .I't sure would be interesting to see if there has been any other thread with such an outstanding success rate

Ok, I needed to know the grade of my embryos, so I called the RE. I had 2- 3/8 (grade 3- 8 cell) and one 3/10 (grade 3- 10 cell)!! I think that is pretty good. What do you all think?

My RE says the beta will be 2/25 (poop) instead of 2/23. They have changed their testing protocol based on some false negs and pos. So its now a LONGER wait! ugh. Can you change my 2ww date? Thanks!

I am sick of bed rest. It sounded great for the first 3 hours and now its boring and I have made a list of things in my head that I should be doing!

Going to watch boring TV.

Marin- I am right there with you! I don't know if I can do this for 3 days!! Did your dr. mention the bedrest thing or is it just from other info. My dr didn't mention a thing! That is making it harder.

My RE said 24 hours bed rest and that no he has no evidence with his patients that any longer makes a difference. So, my 24 hours is up now and I am going for a gentle walk with the poor dog that has been going crazy being cooped up.

I am going to take it easy but not laterally recumbant anymore!

FINALLY FINALLY FINALLY...I will have my ER on Monday. I had a few 17mm collies and quite a bit more 16, 15, and 14.

So now I will take my last stimms tonight and the trigger on Sat night. Very excited!!

Questions for everyone: How many of your did a 3d transfer and how many of you did a 5 d transfer? Is one supposed to be better than the other?

JCW: Just remember why we are all on this journey. Don't give up! Love your DH, take some time to grieve, and be sure to get well to give it another go.

I am on the late end of this group, but I will be sure to let you know how things go :0)

Lovebug- I did a 3 day transfer since my clinic does not do a 5 day. I transfered 4. Try doing a search and I think some people comment on the difference between 3 and 5 day. Good luck!

Lovebug- I did a 3 day transfer. My clinic does either depending on how many embryos you have. I only had 3 fertilize, so they didn't want to risk waiting. My understanding is that if you have quite a few embryos to choose from waiting to day five (now blastocysts) the embryologist has a better idea of which are the strongest candidates. However, if you have say only 3 (like me) they won't wait because the embryos have a better chance of survival in their natural environment.

I posted on the October Mommies to be board, but I thought I would share the news here also. (I have been super sick for the last two weeks, that is why I haven't posted!)

IT'S TWINS!

I had an u/s this morning (I am 5 wks 6 days), and there were two sacks and two yolk sacks there! We have another u/s next week one day shy of 7 weeks, we are hoping to see two cute little heartbeats!

CONGRATS to all the new BFPs! What a lucky lucky board!

Marin and Sage: Keep taking it easy! The rest is hard to do - but remember your embies are working hard at adjusting to their new environment, growing and implanting!

So, what is the earliest you think I could POAS for a 3-day transfer? I was hoping to try on Sunday which would be 11DP3DT?????
