Wow ladies. So much has happened in the past few days. I have been down and out with Strep Throat and not in the mood to do ANYTHING!!!

Mia- I am so happy for you. God is so awesome. Why he made you wait 8 long years is beyond us, but how amazing this whole journey will be for you, I am so over the moon for you. Please enjoy every moment of what is going on with you.

Kildean- I don't recall if I congratulated you or not. I am so excited for you as well. Wow ladies!!! All can say is God does answer our prayers. He may not do it in our time frame, but eventually he does. I had to laugh at your POAS Queen comment. That is so something I would do. My very first POAS is the first page of my dd scrapbook. Call it tacky, but with all we go through, it means a lot to us.
Would that not be amazing for both you and Mia to have twins? Almost sins chills through me.

Chriss: I am so sorry for what you are going through. I have been there, and I think several of us can say we have been there. Take time to pray about what God's will is. I too will keep you in my prayers.

Indie- How are things going for you? Did you have a good anniversary? Have you had time to sit down and visit with dh about his plans for your future? I think it is so much harder for men to understand than us women. I always felt we were put here on earth to make babies and if I couldn't do that, then what good was I. DH got me to open my eyes a littel wider. While we had our battles over what to do, I must say it brought us so much closer together.
Please let us know how we can pray for you and dh.

Sonu- I am a teacher. I teach 3rd grade. I absolutely love it. The kids are just so wonderful. I always said if I couldn't have kids on my own, I was in the right profession. I tell my kids at the beginning of the school year that I am their step mother. It amazes me that by the end of the year most of the kids ARE calling me mom. Such a rewarding career. I hope you get the job.

Cathann- We are praying for both sides to be working in your favor. Remember, it only takes one to make a baby.

I know I missed several of my prayerful sisters. However, I must get myself up off the couch to go pick up dd from daycare. I am praying for everyone on here, that what is God's will, will be.

Thanks for the prayers ladies :) I'm excited to say we're back on track. I don't know that I still qualify for the study (since I missed that initial meeting) but I do have a call in to the office to ask her...if I still qualify then it's a go :)

If I don't, then we'll wait it out till closer to the end of the year when we have the funds to do a shared risk plan locally, less driving and pretty good success rates too.

I'm on pins and needles waiting for Kildean and Mia's next test.....TWINS for both!!!!

On a treatment note, how many of you did the PIO shots? How many of you just did the gel/cream or suppositories (pessaries?). I was searching on YouTube yesterday (we were watching the Cedar Point Roller Coaster LOL) and I did a search on PIO....SCARY! I guess I'd get over it LOL, but it looks painful!

Well, off to watch Jon and Kate plus 8.....gotta love a show that makes me look less crazy as a mom :) LOL

Hrobinson, sorry you've been sick. I think strep throat is the worst. One time it took 2 courses of antibiotics over several weeks to kick it from me. Glad you're feeling better.

Mia....how are you? I bet you are still up there on cloud 9! I know when I got my BFP I just couldn't accept it was real, it felt so sureal. Enjoy it, you deserve it!

Chriss....I'm so sorry. I hope you take time for yourself and can pick up the pieces for your next try. I know it helps me to look forward to the next chance.....but it doesn't take away the pain. I do feel for you.

Klidean...I'm not sure how I missed your good news.....must have accidently skimmed past it whilst I was readin at wrk on a busy day. I'm SO sorry.....CONGRATS!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thats great! I am also a confessed POASaholic. I bought a bag full of them from ebay before my first cycle. it drove me crazy though...until of course the second line showed up 8dp5dt! Let us know what your beta is, its exciting.

HOPE! Where are you???? You must be busy. Whats going on with your cycle? Love to hear from you.

Sonu...what a huge change you've had moving to another country! hope you're loving it!

Cathann, thinking about you and praying for your ER tomorrow. Let us know how many eggs! Will be waiting to find out.

nothing new here, peed on OPK sticks to make sure I was surging....and I was....on Feb 14th, so I guess AF will be here right on time, so still on track for th early April FET. Yipeeeeeee....it can't come fast enough.

Indie- Yea, I am happy that you are back on board. Must mean that you and dh had a real heart to heart talk. I hope it is exactly what both of you want. We will continue to pray for God's will to work in both you and your husbands lives.

Nicali- So glad to hear that you are right on schedule. I am not quite sure what that is anymore. April will be here before you know it. We will continue for God to bless you and dh with a beautiful child. Are you continuing the paperwork on becoming foster parents?

Meant to mention it before, but I am having surgery next week (Feburary 27) to have some polyps removed. Had them removed last year and was told they would not return, but they returned just in time for the ET. So, that is why I don't think it took last time. So, here we go again. Please pray that the dr. are succcessful this time, that they get them all, and that they do not return before ET in June.
Thank you so much ladies.

Hey Kildean- That's awesome. Looks like you are heading for more than two...God blesses immensly!! Congratulations again. BTW was it ur first beta??

MP - When is your third beta, dear? Good that you are working part time and you are getting enough time to rest with ur babies :) Looking forward to meet you in heaven one day, though there are atleast hundred years to it. May Lord give you a long long life.

Indie - I am so pleased that again you are back on track, I pray that everything goes well this time.

Cathann - Lots of BFP dust going your way, hope everything went very well with your ER and now its time for embabies to grow.

Nic - Yes, it has been very trying times for us, lot of uncertainties and unpredicatilbilty coupled with three failed icsi cycles were on cards for us. But things will change now, I am very hopeful and certain. GOD IS WATCHING US!! And I hope that the new job will divert my attention towards other things and instead of thinking 24x7 about getting baby/babies...I will be working on part time basis and let LORD take the charge of handling this business on full time basis i.e 24x7 :)

hrobinson - hey, we belong to same fraternity. Yes. it has been wonderful being a teacher. For four years I have also taught grade 3, that age is so formative and impressionable. Now I shifted to my subject which is History. BTW hope you are feeling better.

Prayers and wishes for all my other lovely sisters.

Nothing worth mentioning abt me, doc just checked my endo lining and called me again on Friday which will be 14th day of my AF. Still nt clear abt the protocol. eager to see my embabies in the lab, I am sure they also must be eager to see me :P

Prayer for Conceiving a Child

Mother of Christ, you were graced by God with the privilege of bearing our Divine Savior. You experienced the joys and challenges of being a parent. Your life was blessed with seeing Jesus grow from infancy and childhood, into his adult years of teaching a ministry. With St. Joseph, you created a home for your family to love and share together. Please intercede before the God of all life, that Hope, weezie, hrobinson, Angela, Nic, Indie, Sonu, Chelly, chriss, Cathann, alisha, MP, Kildean and many other ladies may conceive a baby and raise healthy children, with whom they can share the Lord's good gifts. May their children honor them and You by lives of virtue and caring for others. May their home be holy and their family be blessed with health, happiness and abiding love.

Amen.

How many did you transfer Kildean???? Inquiring minds want to know LOL

I'm waiting on the RE's office to call me back with an appointment for my diagnostics. I may get them done locally to cut down on travel, since my insurance covers those anyway. They just don't cover the IVF cycle. My RX Plan also covers the meds (from what I've read in my books and from other people on my plan) so hopefully that won't be an issue either (getting those somewhere other than the RE's office).

I'm sooooo excited to get started and it's KILLING me to have to wait on people to call me back. Seems everyone is out of the office LOL

My husband last night was talking about getting a bigger vehicle....odd since we have room in the one we have now for another 1, but I suppose if we had Mia's and Kildean's luck we may need something bigger LOL

Speaking of....how are you girls doing? I'm so excited that you both seem to be having multiples....what a GREAT testament to God above! I'll be praying for a wonderful and relaxed pregnancy and very healthy babieS :)

Updates on everyone else....where is everyone on their cycle/journey?

Did anyone care to comment on my Progesterone question? With all this BFP talk, maybe it just got missed :) or maybe everyone doesn't really like talking about the PIO LOL

Hey Ladies,

This was my first beta. The second is scheduled for Thursday. We transferred 2 blastocysts. So I am hoping for boy girl twins!!! Sorry it took me so long to respond. I was working and had to go to school today! I am tired! Will say a prayer for all of my sisters tonight.

Kildean: SO happy that you had a strong beta!! Praying that God blesses you with b/g twins!

Indie: SO what made your dh change his mind?? Well, from what I have read the betas do not signal multiples. But I just feel like I will have twins. I have my first u/s on the 25th - so i will know then :) I do the PIO shots. They really are scary at first but then you get used to them, and I really don't mind them! I lil sore at first make sure you put them in the right spot. I used the suppositories the 1st cycle and really was just grossed out by always feeling dirty from the discharge.

Sonu: no third beta for me. My clinic just does 2. I am really lazy as of late - napping every day and sleeping in till 10!! I bet you are ready to get this cycle going!! I pray that the 4th time is the one for you Sonu!!

hrobinson:GLad the docs found them early enough. Praying for a successful surgery!

Nic: Yes I have allowed myself to walk down the baby aisles at the store and am dreaming about the nursery! It is really unreal still! I am sure once I start showing I will believe it!!

Hope: How are you hun?? We miss you!!

Alright girls dinner is on the stove and I best not burn it! I have been so lazy I need to show dh that I am worth keeping around  !

I want to Congratulate all of you for joining this thread... What a beautiful and wonderful thread it is. May God grant ALL of you healthy children. May the Lord make each and everyone of you fruitful mothers.
GOD is good all the time. I have been blessed with triplets. And i clearly remember while i was going through treatment, the only thing that ever brought me comfort and peace was reading the Word of God. All of the passages you ladies have reviewed are wonderful. Defying all odds and becoming pregnant with triplets and delivering three healthy beautiful babies is and was the work of GOD. I remember praying every waking hour from a passage that stated: Lord, you are my Savior my children will be born in your image completely whole and wonderful, free from all informities. I will find the passage and post later on.
Only He can make all things possible.
Keep your head up ladies.
With Gods Blessings BFP!

Seriously? Beta's don't point to multiples? Everything I've read says that the higher the Beta's the higher possibility of multiples....now I have to go back and research more LOL

**Okay, edited to add that I did a search and while there are a lot of websites that say a fast growing beta # doesn't mean twins, and a high beta to begin with doesn't indicate multiples....many experiences show that higher betas have to do with more. It does say that a lot of people are different though, and that the beta is just a test to show that the pregnancy is going along and doing what it's supposed to do....and each woman is different in how much hcg they produce so it's really up in the air I suppose :)

Thanks for the information on the Progesterone :) The suppositories probably wouldn't gross me out. I had a cryo (freezing) done on my cervix a few years ago and now that was GROSS!!! It lasted for what seemed like forever (atleast 3 or 4 weeks) and even my gyne said that I'd feel like I'd died from the uncleanliness of it.....GROSS!!! and probably could have told me that before the procedure (wouldn't have made a difference though, I had to have it done).

Anyhow, my husband changed his mind because ???? I suppose he saw how much it meant to me and he had some more time to really think about it. He didn't really say what changed his mind though....I'm just glad it changed :) Now if I could only get the doctors office to call me back!!!

I always think that when people don't return your emails...calls...etc that it's a sign that we shouldn't be doing this LOL I try to see signs in everything....but keep telling myself that no matter what I do, God's plan is going to prevail.
