Lovebug...what great news! 19 eggs! Good girl. I am back from ER and slept for almost 3 hours. We got 6 eggs. I will get the fertilization report tomorrow and ET is Thursday at 8am. I'll get my BFP on 3/3! That's the one thing I do like about my RE. Although he does it the evil way by doing the first beta and then not giving results until the 2nd one, at least he does them on days 9 and 11, so I don't have a full 2ww. Yay! Can't wait to hear the fertilization report tomorrow lovebug. My fingers are crossed for lots of little embies for you. :D

Hi all-
Sorry to break the strand of good news but I got a call from my doc today. They canceled my cycle!! I have been on Gonal F for 11 days and as of today I had over 20 eggs. However, my estradiol number started to drop and as a result they had to cancel my cycle because it would not make for a successful ER.
Has this happened to anyone else? If so how long did you have to wait before you started the cycle again?

Cooking Girl: I'm so sorry to hear that they are cancelling your cycle. I know how frusterating and disappointing that is. I had my 1st cycle in Nov cancelled when my E2 level spontaneously dropped on the 12th day. My RE said that when that happens they is a concern about egg quality, so it's better to cancel and try another protocol, if necessary and save the ER and ET costs. I started my next cycle about 8 weeks later. I think it depends on how far out your doctor's office schedules. I had 2 full menstreul cycles before starting again. I think they can do it quicker than that though and part of my scheduling difficulaties had to do with the holidays. Take care and chin up!

Love Bug: Congrats on 19 eggs, that is Great!

Weezie: Hang in there. I'm sure on Thursday you will find out all your worrying if for nothing. It's so easy to overanalyze every pain and feeling right now. There could be so many different explanations for what you're feeling.

Cornybaby: 8 eggs is wonderful!! I have PCOS so they knew I would have a lot, but they might not be all the best quality. I am very excited for you. I took a 3 hour nap today too....how are you feeling? Hope all is well. I am doing my blood test on the 3rd too, so it looks like we will be buddies all the way through our BFP!!! :D :D :D

Cookinggirl: I am sorry about your concellation, and I know it sucks!! I agree with RBJean, just think of all the time and money you are saving....and maybe the worst of all a m/c. Think positive. You will be able to try again soon  Dont give up. :D

Weezie: Please keep us posted on how you are doing. I will be keeping you in my prayers and praying for two wonderful beans!!

2 WWers:

I read that trigger was out after 10 days if you used 5000U, 14days if you used 10,000U.

Symptoms so far are lower abdominal cramps/pulling (mild), some sharp pains on the right side, slightly larger BBs, thats about it.

I am not testing til Friday. My beta is Monday (but only cause they didnt want to do it on a sat or sunday) so I figure Friday is ok in my book!

Cooking girl- so sorry to hear about cancellation. Hopefully, then can adjust your medication for next time.

Cornybaby- great job with the 8 ER! Keep us updated on the fert report.

Weezie- keep us updated on your beans! Good luck.

Hi Everyone-

Weezie- I hope all is well, try to keep a positive outlook:)

Marin/Aimes- Not much going on here. Not sure what is a side effect of meds and what isn't...I have felt a few sharp cramps (short), hope that it is implantation. That's about it! I have a headache, and would love a cup of coffee, which I gave up

Cookinggirl- I'm very sorry to read that RE cancelled your cycle. I suppose it's better it happened this way. Just know, not all is lost. You can still try again. And hopefully when you do, the new protocol will work like a charm! Keep your faith. And keep us posted.

Hello everyone
We did our transfer today. 3 blasts. The sad thing is our other 5 embryos didn't survive. So we transfered the 3 survivors.

What symptoms are you all having? I am just laying in bed. Bored!! I hope I get the bfp.

Well I just got my report from the dr. and out of the 19 eggs we got out, 6 were good. I am not too upset about that, knew it was a possibility. I am confused though- my RE told me that they fertilized 3 and are waiting on 3 to see how the first come out. Has this happened with anyone else??

I am going in for ET on Thursday, which a 4dt. I dont know anymore. I feel like I am all thrown off-- should I be nervous? I wish I can call and ask for more info, but I dont want them to feel like I am annoying them.

I am going to continue accupuncture the day before and the day of transfer.

AGGHH!! I dont know what to think!!! Need advise :? :?

Hi everyone
I havent posted for a while because ive popped myself over to the march.april thread being as my clinic said we would have to freeze.
Well i just thought id let you all know whats been happening.
Of all those 40 follies we only recovered 2 eggs. I was absolutely gutted. At having the OHSS and being bloated. I felt it had all been for nothing. But i got a call this morning and 1 of those 2 has fertilised. So i have a little fighter frozen and waiting for me. Providing my little fighter makes the thaw. I will be sorting out transfer just afer AF.

Anyway - I want to with all you 2 week waiters all the luck in the world. My fingers are crossed for you.

And to all the BFP ers Well done. :D
