Good evening everyone!

Mrs. G- I really hope af does come soon for you. Remember, everything will work out, and we are praying for you.

Esperanza- Glad to hear your cycle is coming soon. I agree with putting in two. I was so afraid putting in two because I thought for sure they would both take. I am young, it was male factor, they were 8 celled....and now we are thankful we put 2 in, because only one took, so someone else said it best, gotta play the odds in this numbers game.

Neffi and unexplained- good luck on your upcoming cycles. I am going to try and keep up with all the new cycles coming up. I wish we could all stay here on this thread, but it was inevitable that it couldn't last forever.

Andnichole- beautiful pic! I still can't believe it's twins, I know it's early, but are you going to find out genders? i will hopefully be able to find out my baby's gender in the next few weeks.

As for me, finally thought I was out of the woods with feeling crummy since I had a few "feelin good" days in a row, but naseau came back again. I go tomorrow for my first trimester testing, and hopefully will have a good u/s pic to share with you all.

CT Michele-- We were posting at the same time! I hope all of your testing goes well tomorrow. Sorry you are feeling crumy...are you throwing up alot? When can you find out the sex? 18 weeks? I think you can as early as 16. Are you hoping for a certain gender? I have always wanted a girl....but at this point....Ill take whatever I get!

Neffi- I have actually not thrown up at all, but I gag alot and hold it back. Certain foods make me gag just thinking about them, so eating is tough for me. Sometimes I have to force myself to eat.

I think you can find out gender as early as 16 weeks. We are of course hoping for a healthy baby, but we both really want a girl. We hope to have more children in the future, but don't know if it will ever happen again. I can't imagine not having a daughter, and my dh is worried about passing down his infertility issue to a son. But again, we will be happy either way with a healthy baby!

Mrs.G: Sending AF thoughts your way. It is so frustrating that they are making you wait for so long!

Neffi211: Yes, we transferred 2 Day-3 embies back. I definitely want to find out if they are boys or girls.

Hey ladies!

Ct Michele-- thats really good that you havent been that sick. My friend was like that with certain foods....the thought of raw chicken would make her throw up. Well I hope you have a girl also...I feel the same way. I told me husband that I would def. consider adopting a girl if it came down to it. I cant imagine my life without a daugther either!

Andnichole-- I cant wait to find out what is in there!!!!

Esperanza and unexplained-- Havent seen ya in the march/april yet????

Hello Ladies we are getting a stupid Ice storm and my internet is being crazy So I wanted to let you know what the nurse said.. The pills they had me on were a type of progesterone? I stopped them this past sunday and she said it could take 7 days. Im on day 4...ugh......
She was going to let my Dr know and see if he wanted to schedule an ultrasound. I told her i was highly irritated that i wanted this next cycle to get underway and find out what the hold up is. So back to waiting...

CT Michele- Im sorry your feeling bad, that can't be no fun. I hope you feel better soon!

Neffi they didnt check my lining, I wish they would've I think it just spotted and that was it. Just dark colored. So I feel like we could've continued with the FET but I guess Im not a dr. Hopefully it comes soon Im pushing the 2nd week of march right now...

MRS G
I hope your situation gets resolved soon. Have you tried cinnamon tea? I have also seen that the recommend ginger tea. Did you see an acupuncturist? You really should relax now, as much as possible, so that your body is prepared for those embies waiting for you.

Neffi- good that you feel better already. I will start posting on the Mar/Apr thread soon. As i said earlier, my mom is here, and so i am sleep deprived, as we keep talking till 3-4am every day, then i sleep for 3-4 hrs and go to work and school.

Esperanza- i saw you on the new thread...I iwll be there soon, after i get my beuty sleep.

oops, my cat submitted the previous post before I finished writing
and I forgot what i was about to write :(

CT Michelle- 16 weeks will be here soon...it must be so exciting!

andnichole- I see three embies as well on the pic

And I have a lot of waiting ahead of me. This cycle will probable be longer since my AF lasted 15 days. In March I start taking whatever i need to start taking and April will have a transfer of my two tiny beautiful embies. I hope they are sticky. Did I mention that my hubby's B-day is at the end of April. And it is his big bday- he will turn 30. I really wish I could give him the best gift ever- twins :)
Besides waiting and spending time with my mom, I noticed some ugly black hair growing on my neck. Just 3 and I pulled them away, but I remember i had the same type of hair after my previous IVF. it looks really weird to have 3 black hair on my hairless neck :? Am I turning into a monster? I wonder if it is from the IVF hormones or has nothing to do with it. I created a thread with this q, but noone answered, so i guess it is not a common side effect of IVF. i am turning into a monster then...

hey ladies,

stuck inside on a crazy snowy day...I had so many plans today, but I think it is just safer to stay in. I bought a new car this week, a 4 door to replace my 2 door in preparation for baby and I would have loved to get it registered, but we have already had 5 inches and it seems to be getting worse. It is not supposed to stop until tomorrow, which is rare for the CT shoreline. Oh well, I guess I can always do laundry and homework.

I had my downs test, u/s, yesterday. I am not going to bother with the pic because it is hard to see anything. This was my first belly scan rather than vaginal, which the tech said is not as good of quality. They did determine that everything seems normal, i will have official results next week at my ob appt. It took a while for the baby to get in the right position, maybe a half an hour. We were able to finally hear the heartbeat and the tech pointed out feet, hands, and the brain which was neat to see.

Unexplained- funny about your cat, mine does the same thing when I am on the computer. I hope you are able to give hubby a great b-day present.

Mrs g- I really can not believe how long you have been waiting. i know it must be torturous, but march is right around the corner and will be here before you know it.

Unexplained: Hoping the time passes by quickly for you. That would be the best birthday present ever for your DH!

Mrs.G: Have you heard back from the nurse yet about an u/s?

I had my second u/s today and I am happy to report that we only have twins in there.....Neffi211 and Unexplained....thank goodness you were both mistaken! :D

Both twins are growing well and measuring right on schedule (7 weeks). Twin B is a little bigger at 11.2mm and Twin A is 9.8mm. Their heartbeats were 124 and 130bpm respectively. I have one last appt. with the RE next Friday and then I will be released to my regular OB and I go to see a high-risk OB as well at 10 weeks.

mrs. g -- we are in the same boat - I'm also still waiting -- must have been something to do with the end of the year and the moon and who knows what else that caused af not to show up in jan/feb....I'm still on progesterone till saturday. had to take it for 10 days, then af should come in about 10 days....but, my RE did measure my lining before giving me the progesterone and also said that the depot shot (time release down reg shot) I had on day 21 was probably given to me when the lining was a bit too thin so af didn't show up (I guess a drawback to my ob/gyn in one place and my RE in another)-- when I went back to my RE on 2/14 he measured and said it was now too thick to cycle -- so he gave me the progesterone as well as decapeptyl shots to bring on AF. I go back to my RE on March 4th.
I might suggest you take a look at this link, it talks about AF and progesterone, etc. I found it helpful in explaining things...
