Nikki -

Yup, girlfriend, you pulled a "Hope" on us with that novel! (hehe! kidding, sort of!) I always plan to be brief, but I get all chatty or wordy or whatever, so don't you feel bad about writing on! We love to read what you have to write! :)

I just wanted to say that I think of you and pray for you regarding your loss. I feel for any lady who goes through m/c, but you and I were so close together, you're one of the first people I think of when I pray for that healing. I really feel badly that I know I didn't have the compassion for the loss and hurt until I experienced it myself, which made me feel incredibly sad for my blindness. Thinking of you, dear.

And... re: your foster parenting - congratulations on moving forward and following God's leading in that area of your life. I can tell through your posts that you are a wonderfully loving lady who will bless some dear children mightly. I admire your strength.

WOW, klidean, if I didn't know you only transferred 2 I'd say you're carrying a litter! Hmmmm, maybe both split into identical twins and you're having quads! Did you know that 40% of fraternal twins are one boy one girl (per Wikipedia)???

Hey dear ones

Hope - thanks for that wonderful list, believe me I really look forward to it. Its like a giving attendence to the teacher and who then reads out our performance card...:D GROW FOLLIES GROW!!!

Kildean - Eagerly waiting for your ultrasound, May God grant your wish of boy and girl twins. HE surely will...HE is great, simply great!!!

MP - Your U/S must be round the corner, comeon...you and kildean, start the trend of twins, then we are more than eager to follow the trend...Lord...are u listening?? :)

Nic - It was overwhelming reading your post. God, you must have felt great after sharing your bit. God has brought you here and HE will take you forward from here, we will never be able to understand his plans.

I am really so grateful to GOD for leading me to www.ivf-infertility.com. and to you guys here without which I would have been lost in this tough struggle of IVF. My DH wonders how I can be so close with people whom I have never met.
I have forwarded my resume and application to various schools here and now it will take its own course. I want to get very busy now :)

prayers----hugs----love to all.

Hello everyone. Sorry I have not posted in a bit. I was away for a couple of days and I've been a bit on the sad side. I just read through all of the posts and caught myself up.

Kildean & Mia, congratulations on the betas. You girls are doing well.. Enjoy it all!

Cathann, I was saddened to read your post. I feel for you. My DH and I have been having our own struggles with all of this. I've not been responding so well to the stimms. (Just like you, I am at max dosage) We canceled last IVF cycle in hopes for more follies this time. We've had 3 unsuccessful IVF's. We are beginning to think about DE. (Donor Eggs) It's not an easy road. I understand your disappointments, especially after all of the effort that you've put into it. I don't want you to feel all alone. WE are here for you. I am praying for you. Give yourself some time. You are not alone.

Hope, thanks for always updating the list.

Indie, glad that DH is with you on this.

Sonu, the prayer is beautiful, thank you.

I know I've missed many of you this time around, but you are in my heart and my prayers.

Looks like we will go through with this IVF cycle. So far it looks like there are four follies all around the same size. Re says not to give up, so that is what we will do. Started acupuncture a few days ago and feel very good about it. My DH is going as well. Talk to you all soon. Take care. -chriss

First: WOW Kildean!!!! You may have bb/gg twins ;) That is some major beta there!

I highly recommend that anyone going through IVF pick up (or use the online bible study at Lifeway Online) to do Beth Moore's Believing God. I got so much out of just session 1 this morning.

She told a story about going on a walk one day and seeing some ducks sitting in this big puddle on the sidewalk. She said that just over a little hump/hill was a big pond and those ducks just sat there in that puddle. She said that if you don't go forward and seek out your promised land that you're like those ducks. When you get to heaven and you're disappointed because this life wasn't what you'd imagined and you think that God has failed you....he's really been sitting there saying "YOU'RE IN THE PUDDLE!!!!!". LOL

It was a wonderful bible study....I can't wait till next week and I really think I'll learn a lot from my 'homework too'.

She finished up with 5 statements of faith (a pledge sort of).

1)God is who he says he is!
2)God can do what he says he can do
3)I am who God says I am
4)I can do all things through Christ
5)God's word is alive and active in me!

She said start with your thumb, then each statement is one finger....after finishing all 5 you have your whole hand up in praise :) and that is your shield.

Anyhow...just thought I'd share :) Praying for you all!

YAY, INDIE! That's great news! I'm sure it feels fantastic to have a date and that DH is going to go with!!!!!!

I LOVE what you wrote about the ducks from Beth Moore. How great would it be for us to do a little on-line Bible study??! Think we could do it??? That would be fun.

About other postings... Mia/MP, Chriss, and I also post on General, Awaiting Treatment. I wish we were MORE active here, but oft times we don't have daily activity. I don't want us to abandon our sisterhood here, but if you can swing two, come join us there too. Forewarning.... they are super active there... usually 3-5 pages a day!!!

Indie- I am so excited that husband finally seems to be on board. Praise God for whatever it is he did to help open your dh eyes a little. Maybe once he meets the doctor he will feel as passionate (sp) about it a you are. We will continueto pray for god to work in both your lives.
Bible study here on the board would be absolutely fabulous.
I post on the Sisters of the Blue Stilletoes (I think that's the name of it) a bunch. Feel free to join us anytime you want.

Hope- Your posts, lists, and prayers are absolutely beauiful. You are such a blessing that God has given to us. We will pray for a successful upcoming cycle.

Nicali- Loved reading your post about everything you have been through. I am so sorry for everything. The hard thing is until you have been through it, you just don't understad fully. God is still working to heal you. You will never forget what you have been through, but talking about it will surely help.
I understand about how you feel toward your co-workers as they seem to just be "getting" pregnant. My co-workers were the same way. But worse than that, my sister was that way. If she thinks about sex, she is pregnant. Sadly enough, she has had 4 abortions, because the pregnancies just weren't convenient. Now she has 2 kids and doesn't even like them. She said she will continue to have kids until she has a girl becuase her family just isn't complete. Fortunately (I hope) she is pregnant with a girl. I feel for her 2 boys that will probably get even more neglected than they already are.
Anyway, I am rambling.
I will pray for God to continue to heal you.

Sonu- So glad that you have forwarded your applications. God will provide you with a wonderful teaching job.

Chriss- I hope you are slowly healing. It is never easy getting that BFN. However, as time passes, I hope that you will heal. I cannot remember, are you going to do another cycle or not?

Cathann- I am so sorry to read your post. I am praying for you. I hope that God provides you with some answers as to what and why.

Well, I am finally over my strep throat. YEA!!! That is always horrible being sick like that. I am just happy that I am better. I am having surgery on Wednesday to remove the horrible polyps that I feel cause my last BFN.
I am hoping that once those are gone, we will get the BFP that I so want.
I will be doing a FET in early June (I hope). It's a complicated matter as I travel 360 miles to SAn Antonio, Texas in order to do my FET.
Anyhow, I feel as if I am rambling.
I hope you all have a spectacular weekend. I will pray for each and everyone of you.

Lord, please carry hrobinson through a successful and safe surgery on Wednesday. Please guide the hands of the doctors and nurses who have her in their care. We pray, God, that her body will be renewed and healing will begin so that she will be better prepared to carry her little snowbabies in June. Well girls I have no idea what happensed - but for some reason the last post from shows on Mon or Tuesday??? But I posted soemthing long after that :( Sorry girls!!

hrobinson: Yeah no more sickies!!! strep is just awful glad youa re feeling better :) ooo San Antonio??? Maybe we can meet for lunch or something  (ok you prob wont want to do that.. but if you need anything while in town pm me :) which clinic??? I am at the RMA one but I was at Honore for my IUI. I will pray for your surgery.

Indie: Wow things are really coming together for you! So glad dh will be with you during the meeting. I have done the Living Free one but not the Believing God one - Yes Hope I think that is a good idea. I meant to suggest it last week. we could get a beth moore (cuz they are quick and good for any level) and then just pick a day of the week to share our thoughts on the study. What do ya think???

Hope: Yes I too am thankful for your faithfulness to this board and keeping up with the prayer rquest list :) and I know you faithfully pray for us all!

Chriss: Always happy to see you post :) Four!! yipee!! praying that they are all carrying mature eggies!!!

Sonu: What are you applying for??? Hmm so I should be praying for twins for you as well?? :)

Nic: Yeah like Hope said it is difficult for me to really understand the loss of a m/c. Esp. to go through all that we go through and then have to go through more heart ache - you two are strong women! I dont understand God's ways, but I know that He loves you and He care about your hurts. So lean on God on the tough days! (and on us too!). I think the foster parenting is a wonderful idea - what a blessing you and dh will be to some babies in need of godly guardians to watch over them and pray for them! And how exciting you get to get the room ready!! BONUS.

Cathann: I join in with Hope's prayer for you I also pray Father that you will speak very clearly to our sister Cathann and her dh and what their next step should be. Why you have placed another trial in their lives we dont know but I thank you that this time is not in vain as Hope said - you are building up Cathann and dh for your purpose and glory. Amen. We are here for you Cathann.

Dolce: Thanks for dropping in and congrats on your triplets!!! WHat a blessing!

I am doing good still not processing the fact that I am pg, and also having difficulty accepting it - knowing not all my sisters have the same chance. Just overwhelmed at God's grace right now. I have been praying for our daughter (Mia) for years now. God has given me a clear vision of her and her love for the Lord. I believeshe will be a mission-minded woman (who also plays the violin (dh thinks I am crazy)). I have started praying for my future son. that he will know the Lord... and that dh and I will be godly examples. WHat a hige responsibility to lead our children in the right direction! SO I just wanted to share what has been on my heart. I need to get back into a regular Bible study. With my sleeping in until 10 every morning all discipline has fallen away!

Alright, time for bed. I teach tomorrow and need ALL of my energy!

Hi everyone. OK, I promise not to ramble on this time. It did feel really good to have a place to vent though so thanks for listening/reading. I also post on another thread on the IVF forum, entitled March/April cyle buddies but its about as active as this one. I don't know how you girls keep up with those that are so active. I jumped on the awaiting treatment thread and fell right off cause it was moving too fast for me...lol

Hope....thanks so much for the time you take putting the list together. It is so helpful. Your time is getting closer and closer!

Hrobinson.....glad things are moving in the right direction.I know having polyps removed is not fun but maybe it feels like your doing something in preparatino for the next cycle. I know I feel better when I'm doing something other than waiting. Good thing the strep has gone, it would be hard to be sick and have the procedure.

Mia, its very inspiring to read about such faith. I wish I could be more like you. I love the Lord woth all my heart but I still deal with doubt......praying for change though.

Indie.....So happy for you. What a relief after such a difficult time woth your DH and you being on different pages. Do you think you'll me doing your first cycle in March or April????? What kind of work-up/testing are you required to do before you get going?

I know I've missed quite a few of you but I am praying for ALL of you!

Nothing new for me, same old thing.

Nikki: Don't get me wrong I deal with doubt too! But when Satan tries to distract me with doubt I remember all the miracles I have seen in my life - all the times God has clearly moved. Sometimes even when I am doubting I just say I dont know how this will happen - but I believe Your Word 100% and if its says that you care more about me than the flowers that you clothe then it must be true!!

I go in for my u/s today - I will let you know how many beans are in there as soon as I get home.

And thank you girls for your prayers. I have been getting back into the habit of reading my Bible every night - and have had the opportunity to share Christ with my good friend's daughter. She is 9 and was driving around with dh and me and she just started a slew of questions about God and Angels - and then she asked me if she was a Christian? SO I shared with her that the Bible says that if she believes that Jesus was God in the form of man and that he took the punishment of her sin on himself by dying on the cross that she can ask God to forgive her for all her sins and let Him be the leader of her life! I told her I would get her a children's Bible so that we could look through some stories together. I was very pumped - but at the same times saddened that my friend who used to go to church is not able to answer these questions for her. Any way. It was a great trip in the car that day!!

Peace,
