hi all

How are all my pheonix buddies??

Nicki - what's the news on the house front? Have you had any viewers yet? Not long til you come house hunting in Scotland - hope you get to grips with the Scottish system ok, the offers over scenario is such a pain. Don't knowif I mentioned tho that you can get fixed price properties where you pay that exact price. Hey I love the idea of us all meeting up at your new B & B! I think we should def do that!xx

Julie - how is William? Have you been enjoying all the baby groups you've been going to? And how is William doing at night? Still going for longer? Glad you enjoyed the haggis - it is delicious! xx

Kate - how are things? Not long til your holiday - is it March?? Any news on things with your cycle?

Jen - how are you hun?? We are missing you. Hope you are ok. Big hugs xxxx

MLG - lovely to hear from you. Glad life for you, dh and Margarida is going well x

Gail - how's the new job? Can't believe Katie will be nearly one soon. How time flies! x

Mia is good. We now go to swimming on a Tuesday which she loves and a baby music group on a Thursday where we sing songs and do the actions. She's now on puree at lunchtime - so far she's lovin sweet potato but not banana! She's really found her voice and has been babbling away for weeks now!

Unfortunately dh has been transferred to work in another area much further away so now has longer days and is paying so much more on petrol. He doesn't get home til 7 and so is missing Mia as she's nearly in bed when he comes back  so he's lookin for another job.

We're off to visit the faily next week and stying over 4 nights. We're out for dinner one night - our first night out together since Mia's been born so looking forward to that!

Well I'll head off now to the wee munchkin who's playing in hwe bouncy, vibrating chiair. Will try post more pics on photo bucket today.

Love to all xx

:D Hello......We are all getting slack with posting huh???
I am here now!!!
Lisa, hows you? Sound great! Sorry to hear that DH is having to traveling miles, thats no fun, what sort of work is he looking for? In retail still? or something else? Is he looking in Ayr??
Did u enjoy your time with the family? xxx

these property's in Scot. which are offers over, are a pain!!! As you dont know what it actually is!!! However the whole buying system seems easier and quicker than in Eng. Have been looking a fixed priced propertys, they make it easier, have 2 on short list, we more or less like and 12 in total..... We'll see what happens when we view... nothing on ours yet..... Not expecting it to be a walk in the park, the houseing markets not all that great......

Love to everyone else, have a good w-end xxx

Hi Girls!! :) :) I think spring is here! We have had a lovely walk around the park and it is really nice weather. Hope it lasts!

I have nothing much to report as I havent done anything really. We have booked a week in our welsh retreat for 3 May. Will update list tomorrow.

William is still gorgeous, still hungry and weighs 9lb 3oz now. Feeds are a bit hit and miss as some nights I get 4 hours in between and some 2....

Its good to hear from you MLG- keep us posted on your little girls progress.

Lisa - What a bummer re Stuarts job! Its a shame and bet he does miss Mia. Will have a look on photobucket later xx

Nikki - How ya doing? Hope ok - any progrss on the house front? Heard from Jen??

Love to all xxxxx

Hi Pheonix Buddies

sorry i have not been here to be a suuport to you all...have had computer problems most of JAN and then just needed to keep time out fom the boards for a bit longer...Missed ya all though ...

There is so much to catch up with you all i hope that you dont mind that i will write a me post just now...then scroll back and catch up overr the next few days? hope thats ok

We had a hysteroscopy in immune tests done in Jan..the hysteroscopy went fine my womb had sood blood flow and is in good shape a few fibrioids but too tiny to operate on, so no worries. Immune tests are still being looked at ( labs the world over must take time over blood rersults eh  ) we are about to start our 1st FET ever ...awaiting AF due today and then slap on eostrogen patches to build up womb lining. Frozen Embies are grade 6 (1 low- 10 being best) and are 3 cell and 6 cell. so we will see if they implant or not. The doc ( when we went over in jan) gave me some meds to help blood flow and my immune system called hemovas...which triggered relapses with my MS. I have been struggiling emontionally and physically since as it really kicked me down...anyway life goes on and i am trying to talk myself around . Its difficult as really i have had enough and wanted to just throw in the towel...i mean that totally as how can i even look after a baby when i have trouble looking after me????

hence the mind body emotional struggle going on...although i have low mood i do feel more postive about the cycle as if i dont give it my all ,then whats the point going through with it?? :D :D :D

well enough of my Demons ...i have missed you all and will catch up with all your news soon x x promise x x x

love and hugs

Hey Girls!

Half term is here and I am officially a lady of leisure for a week at least!!

Jen - welcome back, we missed you! Good to hear that the tests on your womb all came back ok, I'm sure the other ones will. I like to think that the longer it takes to hear the less chance there is that there is something wrong. What a bummer that the drugs you had to take kicked off your MS again, I take it you are off them now? Don't you even think that you wouldn't be able to look after a baby, you will be a great mum and it won't be long before you get your BFP - stay positive it will happen.

Julie - good to hear that William is still keeping you busy...even if it is at the wrong time! A week away, that will be something to look forward to.

Lisa - what a nightmare for dh to be posted so far away for work, I bet he hates missing out on Mia so much? A night out for the 2 of you will be good, although I bet you end up missing Mia loads!!

MLG - nice to see you back again and Margarida being so old - where did all that time go?

Nickie - how are things? Hope you are still ok for next Saturday? Any news on the house front, any offers? What about properties in Scotland, isn't it all done a bit differently up there?...all sounds complicated to me!!

Hope everyone else is ok, anyone heard from Lucy?

As for me, a week off which will be bliss! Am thinking about tmt sometime soon, probably after our holiday in April. We are now debating going abroad for tmt, Sweden to be exact. I found this website (through a link on here) and there is this clinic that treats women from the UK. Basically we would have an initially consultation over here (in a hospital just around the corner from me!) and all the usual tests and then I would follow the same procedure with drugs and scans here. We would then fly to Sweden for the EC and ET and stay there for a week or so and then fly home. I need to look into it further but their success rates are 56% - that seems too good to be true, especially when my clinic's is only 36%!! Anybody heard anything about this, the website is IVFsupportservices or something like that?

Anyway, will catch up with you all later

Hi all

Kate i chose barcelona because of good sucess rates so i am all for going abroad and getting scans at home if the sucess is increased :D It also makes for a better 2ww as you are relaxed in another country or exploring there for the first week . Although in Barcelona we were only there abn extra 2 days it was fun...enjoy your week off hun you deserve it x x x

Lisa- sorry to hear about stuarts job x x xsuch a stress! are you still oving to Ayr? is your house on the market x x xlovely Mia is such a cracker a real joy x x x

Julie sounds like william is a joy x x x though dont know how i would cope with feeds every 2 hrs but i am sure you just do x x x at least he is feeding and nt coliky ( spellling????) May holidays then, are your family going with you to wales again. I hope you have good weather x x x as the sun the lasst few days has been lovely to see x x x

MLG hi un good to hear from ya x x love to you and daisy x x x

Lucy and judy how are you girls ????

and last BUT not least our Nicki...hey hun how s tricks???
whats happening about your house is it on the market yet and had any viewings???? I know the fixed price thing is better but sometimes you may get a bargin in a stuck market. That B&B by Brodies ( where we had a coffee) is still on the market but has dropped its price cos obviously its not shiftin. fingers crossed that you get a fab place a t a good price x x x x

today i have a busy work day and have to take broc to the vets to get his doggy passport. he also has a very itchy eye but no infection ( something that has gone on since he was born). he keeps scratching it on the fence post and the monthly eye vet is going to look at it today...so we will see whats up with Broc-y Boy. That said Broc is not too bothered about it but i feel that if it's annoying him no then it will continue to annoy him and maybe be worse later in life.

so with that and work i must dash ...
love and mega pheonix hugs to ya all

Hi All

Wow, what a busy time I am having at the mo. Dont get much opportunity to get on and when i do I get as far as reading and catch up and no time to post as William calls me away....more about me later.

Lis - Hows things with you and lovely Mia? Hope all well. is Stuart having any luck with work? Hows the travelling going. Hope it isn't taking its toll. As for baby groups I never seem to get there! Was half term here last week so all closed but going to make an extra effort to get to some next week. Never have a minute - sure you know where I am coming from. Stopping breast feeding. I am too tired and William too hungry. I need to stay in 24-7 to do it and I can't. Beat myself up about it and felt selfish but I have managed 8 weeks and I feel so much happier for it and therefore William is too and that is all I am concerned about. Felt I was messing him up boobing and bottling and he was getting bellache but much better now with regular nappies. I feed in the morning still as I love the bonding but the rest is formula and he is gaining the pounds. How was the visit to the family? x

Kate - Hows you? Hope you rested at half term. Hows the progress with Sweden? Managed to get more info? I dont know anything about tmt abroad but from what Jen says it can only be a good thing. Best of luck x

Nikki - Did you go to weigh in this week....? How is your mum doing? Hope fully recovered. Glad you enjoyed meet up with Kate - shame we all live so far and wide apart! Is work any better???? Hope you have positive house news soon xx

Jen - Missed you!! Have been checking in for your progress. Thanks for the PM. Sounds like the break from the boards is what you needed. Well done wth AF!! and the lining sounds great girl!! All your hard work and determination WILL PAY OFF!!! Hows Broc? Sounds a bit like my William with the eye condition - he too has been itchy and runny with no infection but hasnt quite made it to the fence post yet! ha ha. Blocked tear duct. Hows the MS? Hope you are ok. Have a fab weekend in the moto xxx

As for me I have been soooo busy but done nothing. Never have a minute and things take 10 times longer to get done!!

We had some sad news a couple of weeks ago - my sis-in-law (ex actually as Justins bro and her were separated 3 years ago) passed away from cancer aged 34 leaving my niece who is 5 without a mum. Very sad for her. She is living with her maternal gran at the moment - Justins brother is not an active father. Will have to see what happens in the long run.....

Also had word this week that Justins dad (his mum and dad are in Goa for winter until April, havent seen William yet!!!) was taken ill and in ICU for 3 days. 3 clots in his chest which they successfully removed. The surgeon said he would have lost his fingers if he left it any longer as no pulse from the elbow joint and fingers blue!!! Thankfully their hospital treatment was a load better than our NHS and he has fully recovered.

We are looking inot buying a local newsagents..Justin wants something in the hope I wont have to go back to work. Would obviously help out if it comes off but we will have more quality time as a family. It is massive though - big business which will cost mega bucks so I am a little bit scared about taking the gamble. Early days though and it may not happen. We are going speaking to the vendors at the weekend for an idea on turnover and will go from there.

As for William he is now 10lb 3oz! He still looks tiny for his age against other babies but has put on 1lb 3oz in 2 weeks so all is good. He had his first injections today. I cried more than he did. I hate needles and they were HUGE!!! He is ok though. Bit grumpy bless him but should be better later on. Dont think he will be sleeping through for some time yet. He is loads better but still up twice in the night at the mo.

Loads of love to you all. Will pop in again soon xxx
