Hi All

I don't post here vry often these days I am one of the very old crowd that were part of the site probably 2 years ago.

There are a few names that I know and it is wonderful to read about Fionalk , Mandy and Aich getting pregnant.

I had 6 failed attempts at ICSI and gave up. We are now on route to adoption and whilst it is hard I know it's right for us.

But what I really want to say is that all of you going through the failuire of a a cycle or giving up on treatment it does get better, it takes a while but you do get there.
I do have a few tears, now and again, and a lum p in my troat when someone I know gets pregnant but I deal with it.
You all will feel better it is just a day by day recovery.

Love
Lucy

Lucy
Lovely to hear from you. We had a cycle around the same time early in the year. I have thought about you and wondered how you were.
I know that Adoption is a rollercoaster ride too and am wishing you the very best of luck with it.
You are right about taking things one day at a time. As you may have read I am at a bit of a cross roads. Am taking the next few weeks off and we will make 100% decision in January.
I would love to hear about your new son or daughter when they arrive. Wishing you the very best of luck with it all and also wishing you and your DH a very happy Christams.
Gracexxx

Lucy - thank you so much for posting. Your final cycle was about the time of my 4th earlier this year, and you (and Fiona LK) were part of the reason I pursued acupuncture. Like Grace, I'm at a bit of a crossroads at the moment, and its so encouraging to hear from someone who's that bit further down the road and beginning to feel more positive.

Please do keep in touch, however occasionally, and wishing you a really happy and exciting 2004.

Alison x

Hi Lucy,
Great to hear an up date from you. I often think about you and the old gang when I first jumped on this infertility rollercoster. I would be very interested to hear about your addoption journey. I am glad to hear you are feeling better. I know how hard these life changing decisions are. As you said we are PG, very early days, we go for 2nd scan tomorrow. It took us 5 goes and we were near the end of the IVF road.

I wish you all the luck for your future happyness.

Mandyxx
