Hi, need some one who can relate, or keep me at ease for the next few days. I had my fet on friday 15th feb, and am not sure how long it should take for the emby to lodge itself? (maybe a silly question) I have had mild cramping and a sore back, but not sure if that is good/bad or either? I realise we wont know until we have the blood test on the 1st march as the Dr has ordered, but each day i keep waiting and waiting.. am on progynova and provera plus pessaries and not sure if these can cause symptons that i have mentioned.. i can barely keep sane.
I think it is only 2-3 days for the emby to lodge itself.
I had ET on the 13th and am going for my beta tomorrow, I have not had many sensations and think a lot of them have been due to the drugs. I have asked a lot of my friends who got pregnant without IVF and they had no symptoms at all during the first two weeks.
Good luck for the 1st!

It depends on what you had transferred. Day 2, 3, or 5?
If you had frozen blastocysts transfered (day 5 or day 6), then it might be detectable by now, but don't count on it. It varies, and the HPT is not as sensitive as the blood test most clinics use.
If you had day 3 embryos transferred, then it will take longer.
If the HPT is positive, then you are pregnant. If not, then it could easily be a false negative. Those are common in these extremely early tests that many IVF patients try.
so funny Ghost.. I was thinking about doing a study so I can create a ultra sound or something that can help us to see if embies has implant so we do not have to deal with this 2ww.. I know I will make a lot of money tool... I am going crazy myself... Hang in there girls...
If you had a 3-day embrio, it will take more time for it to embed in the endometrium. For a couple of days it will "swim" in your womb. By day 5 post fertislisation you will have a blastocyst which is ready to hatch to the lining. The next 24-46 hours are crucial. Day 7-8 post fertilisation - the embryo gets attached more firmly, but you should still be extremely careful walking and driving.
