Okay, crud, I can't find the directions, but I see that Laura gave you a tip. If that doesn't work, then I'll try to figure out what I did.

Hi Ladies! I hope all is well with all of you...and your bambinis.

OK, dope that I am, I went to order my snugrides off a website ... prices varied, but I believe it was just 'color' and 'design' not the nitty gritty.

What websites have you ordered off of and had good luck?

Now I'm waffling between the snap n go and the Graco Quattro Tour Duo Metropolitan Stroller ... any thoughts would be appreciated.

I'm going to probably get the Bob for a 2nd stroller, or the Mountain Buggy...but I'm going to go back and read comments by all of you re: your strollers. Just don't know which one reclines all the way...

Living in the city, with uneven sidewalks, a maclaren or other stroller just won't do...
Also, the Ergo baby holder? I've heard moms swear by it ove the Bjorn.
Any thoughts?
SORRY TO BUG YOU AGAIN...My goal is to get this all done by 32-33 weeks...
time is a tickin'...

hmmmm....city life would definitely limit your options....do you have a walk up or do you have elevator access? In my opinion, the snap n go is kindof bumpy, but it's easy and lightweight. I LOVE the BOB strollers, but they were kindof $$$$? So, I never went that route.

AS far as websites, I stuck with Babies R Us and Target.

Thank you, Kim!
We have a house...but the sidewalks are brick and bumpy...so the moms around here all seem to start with a McLaren or something, then #$%@ it out because it stinks on the sidewalks...!!! And get the snap n go for the 'car' stroller.

sigh.
so many decisions.

I appreciate your thought...buying my cribs tomorrow. yay!

I ordered my car seats from www.elitecarseats.com I think they are really good. There is no tax and shipping via FedEx is $7. They have shipping "insurance" that allows you to return the item via FedEx for only $10 if you don't like it. They also sell strollers, such as BOB and Mountain Buggy.

I think everyone should have a snap-n-go. It's cheap, light and so easy to use when you are running errands and need to get the babies in and out of the car quickly. It's not good for long walks outside, so I would definitely get a second stroller. I have the Baby Planet double stroller, which I really like. But I don't know how well it would do on really bumpy sidewalks. I live in the 'burbs so we have nice smooth sidewalks.

I never used a baby carrier, so no advice there. What type of cribs are you getting?

Lauralou, thank you so much for the information! I hear that about the snap n go and the snug ride seats as well ... that it's just a no brainer to keep the snap n go in your trunk...I appreciate your thoughts!

I just bit the bullet and went back to BU and purchased one of the Jardine white cribs with no drop side...it was $300 each, not terribly expensive, and fortunately they have them in stock so I SHOULD see the cribs delivered within the next 2 weeks (I will double the time, however, as I hear crib delivery can be a nightmare...one woman I know has waited 21 weeks, her twins are here...yuk).

The Jardine got a good review (B+) In the BBargains book...that's good enough for me. The drop side cribs felt flimsy, and I suddenly had a vision of a kid losing a digit and that was IT! No drop side! But really, I looked at the Palis on line and Pottery Barn, etc...by the end white cribs all looked the same to me! sigh.

Wiped out from my little trip to BU...and picking up food for dinner.
My OB said all looks well, he is looking at an April 14 (38 weeks, 3 days) c-section. I hope I make it that long!

As ever, you ladies are wonderful! Thank you for the elitecarseats.com tip!

Oh, I forgot to mention, I did have 2 baby Bjorns, but I only used one. Took the other one back, as it was still in the box. I thought DH would use it, but he never did. I like it for when they were about 8-12 pounds, but after that, I didn't use it. I kind of wish I would have had one of those "earthy" wraps? I never tried one, but it looked like a good option.

Thank you, Kim...
Some moms in my neighborhood swear by the Ergo (?)...
I've heard that some of the groovier looking wraps often hurt your back.
sigh.
xxoo
(I think the Bjorns look uncomfortable for both mom and baby...too tight or something!)

:D  :D Eighteen Weeks or Eleven weeks corrected 9.7lb and 11lb

Hi guys,

So excited last night as not only did my clever babies roll over!!!! But Josefina was laying grinning from ear to ear at Pepe who suddenly noticed her and for the first time they smiled and laughed at one another and then as my eyes welled up they started making noises at each other as they tried to comuicate....It was so cute.

Having twins is the best!

Having caught up on your thread can I add I also had pre eclampsia but they didn't recognise it at first as my BP was normal. I was itching for months and falling asleep all the time then my legs swelled right up and they did blood tests turned out it was H.E.L.L.P which is to do with your liver and kidneys - my enzimes kept doubbling and they monitored me until they had to get the babies out at 32 weeks and 5 days...by which time I was completely crazy. I don' t remember people visiting me - I probably wrote some weird messages on here - and I went on to have a bad reaction to the morphine after the c section due to poor liver function and had two long days with no pain relief what so ever...it was fun and fortunately all a bit of a haze!

We've got a mountain buggy and it the best thing ever all my tiwn friends here either have one or regret not having one. Its been fantastic and for the last four months my little honey honeys have been co bedding in its double carry cot which must be fab for their tiny backs as it completley flat and therefore great to spend a day shopping in. Plus it turns on a dime and fits through all standard door frames - can't fault it.

Hey Mommies!

Quita~ WHOOHOOO on the rolling over!!!! My little babes still have no desire what-so-ever to roll over. They are a little over 5.5 months and still just won't even attempt it. Go figure! They, especially Annelise, will stand forever and love to play with toys and grab things and one another but rolling over is not anything theya re interested in at all. I bet it's adorable to watch!!! The talking is sweet huh? Annelise talks to everyone all the time and Bodie is a fabulous listener but says very little at all still. But man is he a social smiler!!!!

Don't ya just love twins??? Me too!!!!!!

Just trying to get out and play today. Annelise has recently decided she is a home body and doesn't really like people that much so we have been getting her out everyday to try get her used to others. She is learning to adjust and calm herself but it's been turning heads for sure. Bodie loves everyone and everything but my little Anna needs her space and I can appreciate that. She also has to learn to deal with new people and places a bit better so we've been on a mission lately and I can see some progress. :)

We have a bjorn but both my babies hate it! I can get about 15 minutes, ok maybe 10 out of it and then they want out. I had a sling that Bodie loved, Annelise hated, but it worked the best for us.

hope all is well for everyone! WE are trying to figure out what to do with our weekend????? MIL is coming over for dinner tonight! AGHGG! Hopefully she doesn't come with a ton of unsolicited advice! :? Love her but she is hard to take. I better buy some wine!

Take care~

Quita--my c-section incision is aching from your story....you poor thing! Yeah, on the rolling! It IS so neat to see the babies interact. Just wait, it gets even better!

Kimberly--Sounds like Annalise is taking after my Ellie! Remember last fall, she'd lose it in crowded places? WEll, good news my dear, it does pass. Now, Ellie's the one who loves to go shopping. She is a perfect princess when we go to Sam's, grocery shopping, or the mall. Now it's her brother who tends to fuss after about 40 minutes. (I just don't think he likes being contained.) Don't worry too much about the rolling. Braeden did it really early and then stopped for quite a while as his head got so heavy. Ellie took a long time to roll, but then here she is the first one crawling. Go figure! I'm sure your daytrips will help Anna adjust soon enough. Good luck with MIL tonight. Mine wanted to come over too, but since DH is not home tonight, I said, "maybe another time!". :D Love her, but I really don't want her around. Is that bad of me?

hi all. I have a question for all the twin mommies here. Is breastfeeding for the twins difficult ?. I would really appreciate if some of you could share your breastfeeding experiences especially when you were back home from the hospital and there were no nurses around . I will be a twin mommy in August . I am so excited but the only thing that makes me nervous is breastfeeding .Besides i and my DH will be alone here when my babies arrive ..No helping hand from either of our families. :(
I am missing my mom a lot .....she is no more :( wish she was here to help me out . But my DH is such a darling ....he himself is a big helping hand .But sadly he has no experience of breastfeeding  .

You ladies sound so wonderful . Your confidence is amazing . I always read your posts to make me feel positive .Ladies plzzz share your experiences .... Plz tell me did you have enough supply for the two , did u go to a lactation consultant , any special food to increase the milk supply ...... ( I am a vegan )

Baby2008- Congratulations and welcome!! You really need to talk to Kholtan. She is the one who had the most success with breastfeeding. She is still going strong and I think her babies are 5 months.
