Its been quiet on the board lately. I am debating if I should go but some hpt's. I am not very patient waiting...till next wednesday to hear from the DR. Today is 3dp6dt. I am praying for that BFP!!

I just came back from the clinic, and my DR. drained 900CC of liquid out of me. It hurt like hell, but I am feeling SOOOOO much better. I might have to go back tomorrow. He said it will get worse before it gets better, but at least I was able to zip up my pants on the way out

. I went in with them unzipped

What ever happened to the days of a good frolick in the sheets to create a baby??

Oh, well I think we will all be better moms because of it!!!!

Cornybaby: I know its WAY early, but have you given thought to POAS??

keita: Good Lick sweetie!!! You will off the stims and on your 2ww sson! We will have to add you to our list of girls!

Riogirl: you have been taking care of all of us...how is your pregnancy going? Any morning sickness? How far are you now?

Lovebug - no poas for me. I promised myself and DH I wouldn't. I POAS'd last time and regretted it. I'm just hoping I can keep my promise. Yesterday I surrendered all of my HPTs to DH so that he could hide them.

Anyway, ask me again in a week...you might get a different answer. I'm SO glad you went to the RE and they were able to help you. 900cc's sounds terrible! The one thing about being a poor responder is you don't really risk OHSS, so I feel lucky for that. Keep me posted on how you're feeling. I'm still on bedrest and bored out of my mind. DH is playing golf today.

Sage - How are you feeling? I am beginning to think it didn't work for me. I started spotting this morning but only notice it when I go to the bathroom and I have had a horrible headache all day. The spotting and headache generally mean AF is coming. bbs are still sore though. I talked to the nurses today. They told me not to give up hope yet since AF wasn't here full flow. She said the progesterone suppostories could be causing the spotting. Has anyone experienced this and still had a BFP?

I am not feeling optimistic right now. No spotting for me yet, usually I would start tomorrow. Good luck:) Are you going to POAS?

Sage - So far I have decided not to POAS. I don't want to stress myself out anymore than I already am. I have the beta test on Tuesday so I'm going to try to wait. I also told the nurse today that I was having cramping on the sides and smack in the middle. She said the cramps on the sides were my ovaries and in the middle was the uterus. She said it could be increased blood flow to the uterus. I'm not sure if that's a good thing or not.

Aims,

I had the same exact signs yesterday - splitting headache all day and spotting (like kind of brownish) sorry TMI. The headache is usually AF coming but pretty wimpy spotting the past 4 days. Maybe progesterone injections are stopping the full arrival of AF for me? I am pretty sure I am BFN but have not POAS since the BFN 2 days ago. If no major flow tomorrow, I may retest.

I hope your signs are BFP signs. I do think that any signs can be BFP or BFN.

Marin - It is somewhat comforting knowing you have the same symptoms as me. Like you said any of the signs could be BFN or BFP. After today, AF will be officially late so keeping my fingers crossed. The spotting I've had has been brown too. This morning it was a very light pink but has been brown every since. I had convinced myself this morning it didn't work and I even asked the billing people about charges for a 2nd IVF try. After reading information and finding a lot of IVFers had spotting, it calmed me down some and I've been trying to relax. Did you have a 3dt or a 5dt? I can't remember.

Marin/Sage - I found this on another thread. You may have already seen it but in case you haven't thought I would share.

1dpt ..embryo is growing and developing
2dpt... Embryo is now a blastocyst
3dpt....Blastocyst hatches out of shell on this day
4dpt.. Blastocyst attaches to a site on the uterine lining
5dpt.. Implantation begins,as the blastocyst begins to bury in the lining
6dpt.. Implantation process continues and morula buries deeper in the lining
7dpt.. Morula is completely inmplanted in the lining and has placenta cells &
fetal cells
8dpt...Placenta cells begin to secret HCG in the blood
9dpt...More HCG is produced as fetus develops
10dpt...More HCG is produced as fetus develops
11dpt...HCG levels are now high enough to be immediately detected on HPT

Aims

I did a 5 day transfer with 1 blastocyst. I am still spotting - brown and more red blood but I did another POAS today, 9 days post 5dt and I think there might be a second positive line! very faint but maybe.... I am not getting my hopes up too much cause there is still a lot of bleeding but maybe I am not BFN after all! I am going to go to get blood drawn Monday to know for sure and of couse I am sure I will POAS tomorrow. There is absolutely no way I have the willpower not to test!!

lovebug, marin, corny, aims, sage, doddo - keep the faith! PUPO!!!!! the 2ww is grueling for this reason- we are all so hyper aware of every feeling and convince ourselves that things aren't working so we're not quite as devistated if it doesn't work out this time, and, well- every waking moment I am sure each one of you is wondering, wishing, and hoping for that BFP - there are just a couple more days until your betas- so hang in there until the fat lady sings!!!! I was pretty sure it was a bfn for me in that last couple of days before beta - and I was wrong!!!
Take your mind off of it- go out with friends, to a movie, shopping, go to the petting zoo or what ever- just get out there and the time will pass- Monday, tuesday and wednesday will be here before you know it- and the good news will follow.

I know it's hard and it sucks, but you can do it - don't let these days drag on- it's the weekend after all -
