Lovebug, my gosh, I am so sorry you are having such a hard time. I can only imagine. I think you will get an accurate answer on Saturday if you decide to POAS. I just can't do it this time. It messed with my head way too much. I'm feeling fine. Back to work tomorrow, unfortunately. Keep me posted on how you're feeling this week. Only 8 more sleeps until our BFPs! Try to hang in there if you can! We're PUPO!!!

Lovebug- I know that you are not feeling well and you would love to know. I would advise you NOT too POAS,you will second guess ay result, a faint line and you could get a flse negative which wld make you even more upset. It is so much better to know for sure! Hang in there! Praying for a quick recovery!

Corny- good job on staying strong and not POAS!

hello everyone,
For those that had a failed cycle before how long did you have to wait to start again?
Once things are confirmed on Wed, I am going to go back to the Cleveland Clinic. I just didn't know how long I need to wait.

I took another HPT, I know its a BFN. I am still taking my meds just in case. I am very upset over this.

Hi everybody just stopping by to say hello & give lots of good wishes to you all...I'm so proud of all of you!!!

Donna I understand wanting to get on with it, but stay positive until the definite word....stranger things have happened.
They say you can take a cycle off & go right back into it if you need to, but I don't know if that's good or not.
I saw in your signature that you've had a few IVFs . You seem like you've had a decent number of eggs with 3 transfered...and blasts even. It seems like they just don't stick, so have you talked to the RE about assisted hatching?
Also, you probably read earlier I'm on this Trad Chinese Medicine program right now. I really believe taking a few months off for the body to recover is a good thing. We all want to push forward, but this is a hard process for the body....especially as the stims thin the uterus lining. You may want to look into TCM to help balance hormones...or at least acupuncture which really helps the uterus lining get thick. Sounds like you may have issues with implantation so you need to try to create a well nourished, hormonally balanced place for them to snuggle in. TCM also addresses inflamation in the body which is caused by eating certain foods ( different for everyone) & can affect implantation. That's why everyone suggests eating pineapple after ET...it is a food that reduces inflamation.

Talk to your doctors & do some research, keep trying, be proactive, be positive & I know you'll be successful!

Hi Rin,
Thanks for the encouragement. I spoke to my old clinic, If I have a BFN, two periods from now we will start a new cycle. My uterine lining isn't a problem. It actually gets too thick at times. I never had a problem with it being too thin. The old clinic suggested testing my husbands chromosomes and make sure everything is ok. I have had 4 children with a previous person, so I know I am ok. Other then having my tubes tied.

I will think positive, but It gets very depresssing!!

Donna
Sounds like you're all good. I would def get dh's sperm checked. I have a friend who had that problem...they ended up doing PGD and getting a couple of good ones. You need several embies to try that, but it sounds like you always have a good number.
There are so many variables aren't there? It just takes the tenacity & belief to keep at it & keep investigating.

Ok I caved...no I didnt POAS, I bought maternity clothes!!! I am finally pain and nausea free from OHSS, however my blot still doesnt make my pants fit. It was secretly fun! Now at least I can go to my office meetings on Wednesday not looking like a freak show!

Cornybaby: How are you doing buddy?? I dont think this has to do with anything, but my nipples have been burning all day today! My DH and I talked this morning about POAS. He does NOT want me to at all. I was actually shocked! I really didnt think he would care! I am going to do my best, but I know me...I know I will cave. :D

6 DAYS LEFT UNTIL OUR BFP!!!!

Doddo: Did you go for your blood work today? I hope everything turned out well!! I'll be thinking of you!

Riogirl: Thatnks for being a wondeful cheerleader!
I have been secretly reading the "October mommies" thread! I cant wait to post there with you all. Although I might be a November Mommie...I dont know really how to count that yet.

I hope everyone else is doing well.

Aims - sorry about your BFN. I know what it's like, but you sound like you are already looking ahead to the next round, which is exactly what you should do. Hang in there sweetie, and enjoy the time in between not obsessing over IVF.

Lovebug - SO glad you are feeling better. I am doing fine. Coming down with a cold I think because my throat hurts like I swallowed a box of nails. I hear ya on the bb thing. The progesterone causes them to be so sore I can barely move. This happened last time too, when I got my BFN. And even though I wasn't bloated at all through the entire process, boy I am now! As for the due date, there is a pregnancy calculator on this site, and going by our ER dates, we will have a due date of Nov 10! 6 days and counting to BFPs...try your hardest not to POAS. Take it from someone who knows, unless you get a positive, it will MESS WITH YOUR HEAD! I'm still on the "I'm not going to do it train". Hopefully I won't fall off. :?

Hi,
My HCG test is in the morning. I will know the results in the afternoon tomorrow. I spotted a little today. I am sure it will be a BFN. I did not test anymore since 6dp6dt. I am praying for a miracle.

Thanks,

Donna
