Hi guys.

How is everybody? Hope all are ok :)

Nicali: Thank you for updating the list. You are a 5* !!! And i love the fancy graphics. Unfortunately i don't know how to do that :(

Ann d: Hello. Yes, your name now sounds familiar. we were together last cycle. This will be our time to get a lovely BFP all the way :D
Oh and im using acupuncture too this time!

Esperanza:Hi there. How are you? This is my 1st FET too and i might have the transfer 1st week of March...not 100% sure thou...
I like your name! Means Hope isn't it?!

Cherly & Suzhan: hope you get AF soon to start the cycle. I hate that time when we have to wait for it.Feels like it takes ages to come

To everyone else hope everything is ok.

I had my appointment today. The lining is still very thin so have another scan booked for next monday. The doctor mentioned that if it doesn't work this time then they will check if i got many of those killer cells. Sorry, don't know the name of it but basically they assume the embryo as an outsider and attack it. It's like when a body rejects an organ transplant.
So sad!!!

I had my 1st session of acupuncture last week and it was good. Have another one booked for thursday.

I'm going for a natural cycle so no drugs this time!
Keeping my fingers crossed!!!

Anie :)

Hi all!

Anie: Wow, no drugs this time. Nice, nice! I hope all goes well next Monday . If your lining has thickened at your next appointment, does that mean that your FET would be a few days later?

Esperanza: You're getting a Ph.D!!! I'm so impressed. I'm such a whiner about just getting a Masters (I'm studying Public Health).

Neffi: How are you feeling these days? Have you gotten over your cold?

Hi to everyone else too! Nothing much to report here. I started my first injection of Lupron this morning. I have to say, I've been in such a pissy mood every since (had bad road rage this morning--I wanted to run this moron off the road!!). I don't remember being that moody with Lupron last time. Hmmmm....maybe I'm just in a bad mood!

I hope everyone's well. I'll check back soon!

Hi guys!

Thank you all for your good wishes.
You know how important is having everybody's good wishes and all having PMA!!!!

Neffi: Oh dear! i hate when i get runny nose. It's so annoying :(
Try this: before you go to sleep have a cup of warm water with a lemon skin. We(portuguese) call it carioca. In one pan (not kettle) put water and few slices of lemon skin. Let it boil till the water gets yellow. Drink it before you go to sleep. hope this helps and you get well soon :)

Rlk: Yes, i think once my lining is thick enough the transfer should be in few days.

Luv to all
Anie :)

Hi everyone!

Neffi: Glad to hear that you're feeling better. Anie's tip sounds so soothing--hopefully, it'll work for you!

Anie: Wow, I had no idea you were so close--how exciting! You'll be the first one on our thread to have an FET (or ET!). YAYY!! Keep us posted!

No news since yesterday. On a positive note, I didn't try to kill anyone on the road today! Maybe I'm adjusting to the Lupron!

Bye for now!

Hi dears!

Esperanza reporting here... not much to report actually, other than I'm being a lazy a$$...I should be finishing a paper, instead I'm here on this site...so bad. rlk Do not follow my example! I must be the worst doctoral student out there! I'm telling ya.
Hey, you're not a whiner, I finished my masters last spring, and I can tell you that I had to work my tail off in order to get it.

On another note, AMERICAN IDOL tonight!!! that should be a motivation for me to be done by then

Oh, rlk I'm glad you are not like this anymore:

hehhehe.

Anie yes! my user name means "hope" in Spanish (my native tongue), it's not my real name, but it's my motto ;) Hope is what keeps me going...I'm starting to sound like Obama...

I'm so excited for you. Yay! i'm praying for your lining to thicken up.

Ok, so I am going to my RE's office tomorrow with dh to sign up the forms. I may have some more news tomorrow.

Hugs to all, and lots of vibrant, positive, sticky baby dust!

Can I join you. I got the BFN on my 5th cycle and AF should be here any day. Once it starts I will be on bc pills. I shoud get another AF towards the end of March. Then we will start another short flare protocol. I am going back to my old clinic where we got a BFP last April, had a heartbeat and everything but miscarried.

So now we are on to our 6th IVF cycle. Our problem is that I got my tubes tied after 4 kids. I am remarried and we would like to have a baby together. I know, I have kids. I am greatful for that.

I am 35 and DH is 31.

Good morning all,

So...who here thinks David Archuleta is going to win American Idol? Wasn't his song amazing last night! It's hard to believe how young he is and to have such a gift! Wow!

I finally started AF, after a 4-day delay (the only time I'm late is when I'm waiting to start)! I go in today for my sono and E2 to start Lupron. Yippie!!! I 've already told my DH to agree with all I say if I start acting like a crazy person(thank you so much Lupron). Question: am I the only one who has gained weight from IVF? I'm about 7 pds up and wondering if my appetite will ever go back to normal...

If all goes well, I should start my stims a week from this Saturday.

Hope everyone else is doing okay and progessing well. Take care!

Happy Wednesday, everyone! Gotta love that the week is half way over--just makes our ERs/FETs/ETs that much closer!

Neffi: Point taken. Perhaps I can't blame all my bad habits on Lupron!

Esperenza: I hear you! I tend to do the same internal debate--you know, the "Should I be a good student and read the assigned textbook readings or should I check email/message boards". It's pretty obvious which wins out!

Doddo72: Welcome! I'm sorry to hear about the BFN. Are you doing okay? It sounds like you're taking charge and forging on. That's so admirable! I think this will be a "good luck thread" for all of us. Here we come, BFPs!!

Cheryl010120: YAYYY---you can be my Lupron buddy! I haven't gained weight from IVF, but my cycle was cancelled last time after 7 days of stimming. Maybe that's why. But...I'd say gaining a few pounds is not all bad---it's good for your future baby!!

It seems like we're all finally getting started!! Anie should have her FET soon, Neffi and I should start stimming on Monday, Cheryl should start stimming a few days later. It seems like we were all so far away from starting treatments when this thread was started....but we're all so close!!!!

Okay, perhaps I should get to those textbook readings. BORING!!!!

Hi ladies.....nothing new here....its exciting to see a few of you getting started with your cycles. I'll probably be one of the stragglers at the end of the group....thats OK, better late than never.

cheryl....i just love David Arculetta....I totally think he will win it this year if he keeps this up. He's so cute I just wanna smoosh his cheeks. I'm not that impressed by any of the other yet except for the Irish girl, she definitely has a killer voice.
Regarding the weight gain.....I have gained quite a bit too, mostly because I read stuff about not dieting and not overdoing the excercise before I stimmed back in Oct/Nov. I took it to the other extreme and ate what I want and stopped exercising. Then my belly blew up cause my ovaries were huge (lots of follies). I cleared out my skinny clothes......then my "fat" clothes....went shopping for bigger pants
I guess I'm not stressing it too much. My BMI is just barely into the overweight range and I don't want to diet. I started swimming to keep myself a little active, though.

doddo72....WELCOME! My AF should be here any day, too and I'll also be on BCPs from day 3, so maybe we'll be close with our cycles?! Sorry about your MC, I know how painful it is. But, we move forward....all I have to do now is figure out how to get a PMA again. I am struggling with that. I think its great that you have kids....I, too, have one (he's 7) and my DH has 4. Ironically, we are deally with male factor infertility as he got struck with orchitis which affected his sperm :( We got married last year and decided right away to try ICSI. My FET will be here smoe time in early April. Your next cycle is a fresh cycle right?

OK, gotta switch computers......TBC

Never did get back to writing more yetserday, work got busy. I love my job. ever since I was little girl I knew what I wanted to do. I only recently got where I want to be and I couldn't be happier. I plan on working after having a baby.....what does everyone else plan on doing? I work 3 12 hour shifts a week so I may be able to drop to 2 days a week, I'm not sure, will have to look at the budget.

Today is the first day of the foster care training classes that my DH and I are attending. I think today may also be the day AF shows up, I already had a little pinkish spotting this morning. My nurses will NOT count a little spotting as day 1, they say I have to be in full flow, so we'll see later on. I'm excited. Actually, I had a good turn around when I was dropping my son off at school this morning. Thinking about it being really about to happen again gave me some hope and PMA.....I have been struggling to recapture the PMA that I had with my last cycle so I hope I'm finding it again.

I hope everyone is doing well, getting well rested, gearing up for out BFPs!!!!!!

Hey ladies!

Nicaliw-- Foster care? Are you going to become a foster parent? That would be awesome! As far as work goes...I am a pediatric dental hygienist. Right now I work 5 days a week! But thats only to save up money. I plan to work 3 days a week when the baby.babies come. I wish I could work 2 days, but we cant afford it with daycare. In a couple of years when DH is making more money, hopefully I can work 2 days. I would love to stay home for a couple of years, but we cant afford it!

Doddo--WELCOME! I followed the Jan/Feb thread a little...sorry to hear of your BFN....I know all about that! Im glad you are here now! Looks like you will be later than me with treatment....isnt the waiting horrible? I hate waiting!

How is everyone esle?? I made my baseline appt for monday....as long as AF arrives.....I have a feeling she may come like tuesday or wed...then I will be pushed back a couple days. My last BCP was last night so we'll see! Im excited to get started again. Cant wait to hear everyone elses treatment plans!

Oh and by the way......Come talk to the American Idol thread!!! I wonder who is going to go tonight???
