Well girls.... I need to be quick to make a late dinner. I called my RE's office this morning because I have really been cramping and with all of my losses, I am just scared to death. Anyway, they told me to come in for another beta. I begged for an U/S and she said it would be too early to see anything and to wait a few more days at least. I told her I would come back, but please just try - so she did and we saw the start of one beautiful sac. My honey has to load our camera software because I don't have a scanner and I will post the pic soon! YAY - so things are heading in the right direction. I will get my beta tomorrow after 3:00 my time.

Take care,

Donni

Donnell- Congratulations!!! That's very exciting news! That's great that they gave in and did the u/s and I don't blame you for pressing them to do it. Hope all goes well with your beta tomorrow. I'm waiting on AF and I think it'll be either tomorrow or the next day so then I'll get going.

Beth- You're right, Harvard is home of the Milk Days celebration- 3 days in June every year because there used to be a lot of dairy farms here. I too am so tired of snow and cold...another 6-8 inches again today!...hope you are doing ok.

Barbarella- Thanks for your welcome. So sorry about your news.

Faith- Thanks for your welcome too and I wish you the best with your beta this week.

Mornin' girls.

Mel ~ Yes, of course you can join. Wow, transfer on Monday. Have you been going through the wait alone? Well...I am sure not alone, but? Anyway, welcome now, we would love to have you. This place is wonderful for support. I joined when I had my first IVF and FET, this is my second FET. These ladies here are wonderful. Good luck on your blood test today.

Barbarella ~ I am so so sweetie. All of my attempts, IVF, FET, IUI have all been successful. I always seem to get PG - I just can't get it to stick. (At least not yet). I am happy to see you are looking on the bright side of things. You are so strong. Will they continue to do betas, because it looks like you continue to rise??? I am thinking of you. Good luck on Wed.

Laura ~ Thank you, I am actually starting to feel hopeful this cycle. I am even scared to say that and jinx myself. I hope AF comes today and then stays away for 9 months. Keep us posted.

Jess ~ YAY - thanks so much. I still can't believe this might actually work this time.

Chrysty ~ My RE said they like the lining to be 7-10 so you are almost there. I think you will be good. Good luck on the 1st. Almost there!

Karen ~ Yes, the first one is tough and painful. We have all this lining built up and hormones. I am happy to hear you have your follow up appt sched. sorry about having to go back to work. That was always so hard on me each time. I just didn't want to deal with anyone. But I was always glad after I did so I didn't go into a depression. I am so thinking about you.

Faith ~ Only 3 more days lady. I am praying for you. Crampy is good, I was told that again yesterday. Can you call your RE and ask them to run the beta stat? I go to an outside lab because my RE's office is so far away so they always run it stat and they get the results after about 4 hours so I get them at the end of the day. Just a thought?

Well - here is my pic of the U/S. I hope it works. Sorry if it is blurry, I don't have a scanner, so I had to take a pic of it. It is hard to see, but the little circle is the sac.

Mel- Welcome! Is this your first FET? I hope all goes well for you with your blood draw tomorrow and of course your transfer on hopefully Monday. I am hoping to get started with my first FET pretty soon here- just waiting on wonderful AF in the next day or so and then I'll get going. It is so hard not to think about all this 24/7- I think we all do and it just consumes us and understandably so...I just recently got on this message board and already all the girls on here have been just great so I hope you have the same experience and I'm sure you will.

Hi Girls!
Such a nice California Day today :D
Got to enjoy the sun before more rain comes!!

Donnell- all I have to say is WHOO-HOO!!!! I'm so excited for you! That is one beautiful picture!! I'm glad the dr office gave you an u/s. They just don't understand sometimes that we worry about every thing. Let us know how your beta went, although I'm sure you're going to post GREAT news! Mine is Friday, and they will do it stat (thanks for the info) as long as I"m there early, there won't be a problem. I feel like AF is right around the corner, but trying to keep a PMA.

Barbarella-keep your chin up! Your betas are doubling, so that's a good thing! Slow rising betas are not that uncommon I believe. When my good friend got preg. her betas were SOOO low. Her dr. said "he'd be waiting by the phone for her call saying that she's miscarrying". He even gave her his personal number! Well she miscarried and her baby was born perfect. She didn't have a positive preg test until she was almost three weeks late!!! So think positive girl!! Good Luck!

How you doing Beth? Thanks for the thoughts!
kyw-let us know when you decide to give it another go! This next time will be it for you!
Chrysty-hopefully a few more days for you!!!
Lauradc-doesn't it take FOREVER for AF to come when you actually WANT it to!? Hopefully you won't have to wait long!

All you newbies, WELCOME :D the more the merrier around here. You can come join our craziness around here anytime!!! Good Luck!

Donnell....oh, sweetie, I am sorry you are so scared! You are on the right track..and I am glad you pushed for your scan! Yay! Beautiful little sac! I think it is safe to celebrate now! Although, you will probably be nervous your entire first trimester!! Always something to worry about, right? thanks for posting your picture!
By the way, I wish I was in Arizona at the moment. What is the temp out there?

Welcome Mel! Good luck to you.

Laura...have you dug yourself out of the snow yet? Isn't this ridiculous?

Barbarella...forgive me, but why is that bad news? Your numbers are growing, right? Are they just not high enough? I am sorry for being so ignorant, but I don't understand! Don't give up yet, try to stay positive!! Your scan is tomorrow, I will send some good ol' fashioned big fat baby dust bunnies your way...

Faith...Tomorrow is your day! We need some more good news on this thread! How are you feeling? have you given in to the POAS devil? Just let Donnell do your p'ing for you! lol.

Chrysty...how are you holding up? Saturday will be here before you know it....Your lining will get there...hang in there.

karen....how are you? Did you get all the boogs off of your computer? I know it's hard, but good to see you are going to try again. Another FET?

Sorry, Faith, for some reason I thought your beta was tomorrow.
But Friday is good, too! How many days after transfer will that be?

Karen- Thanks for your well wishes- that is so nice of you to think of others when you're going through a tough time...I can sure tell you are a kind and strong person and I wish you the best. So glad you are having a good day- all this can surely put a woman on quite a roller coaster of emotions and good/bad days- hope you start to have more good ones!

Faith- I'm jealous of your CA weather! How are you doing waiting for your beta day to come? That waiting is so hard too. And like you said, I hate waiting and wanting to get AF so bad now and then wanting so bad NOT to get it later- back to that roller coaster that I mentioned above!

Beth- Yep, I'm jealous of the CA and AZ weather that the other girls are enjoying cuz this stinks!! I'm just staying in today- taking a snow day! Hope all is well.

Real quick girls because I actually need to work. My third beta was 3970! So right on track. I feel like I can actually breathe a little. No more betas - just U/S and pray for a heartbeat on the 6th!
