I too am in my 2ww. I have 7 days left. I can ABSOLUTLY relate to all of your posts, but here is the thing, stress is never good for any baby-- so since we are PUPO, we should all take a deep breath and CHILL
RunnerKate: I was religous with the gym and my hour and half work out, but since this began I have stopped (plus my acupuncturist reccommended no exercise). It's been hard and I plan to at least walk 40 min a day while I am preggo, but for right now, I have to think about my baby first.
Mbre: Youre not every one else. Dont even think about what others wake up to. Trust your self, and know that your baby is wonderful and happy! My best friend did IVF and never felt anything until her third month!

I have a question. Dh has to be out tonight and won't be home until about 10:30-11. Has a work obligation.
Has anyone ever given themselves the prog. shot? If so, how did you manage to do it and did it work out ok. I usually take it around 7 and I know the clinic says you have a 1-2 hour window, but don't think my dh will be home by 9 p.m.

YOure welcome Kbat, were all in this together....
i too had to do the prog shot myself one day.... It was hard.. What i did was numb the upper part of my buttock with an ice pak for about 10 min. circle with a marker where i wanted to inject stood in front of the mirror back facing mirror and then whammo! have to admit DH had a nicer touch, i bled a little more than i should, but i did it...Good Luck with that...
did the prog. shot by myself tonight. Not too bad.... Used the suggestion of looking in the mirror, etc. I think it went ok. It was awkward, especially pushing it in and knowing whether or not I pushed the needle all the way in, but it's over and done w/
Woke up w/ a sore throat today and can't seem to shake it. hope I am not coming down w/ something--just hoping that I am just feeling run down by lack of sleep.
Kbat--congrats on doing the shot yourself. My RE actually said that I could just do the prog suppositories....its their new protocol. I can't tell you how happy I was....it was getting hard to walk!

I am new to this forum but I am also part of the miserable 2 week wait. It's been very difficult and I've been analyzing every symptom. Go in for my blood test on Monday. Pretty terrified actually to hear the results. Trying to keep positive but have had a very emotional week...think my hormones are making me crazy!
welcome casey!!! I started this thread because I think this is the worst part of the whole process--waiting to see if it works. At least I know that there are others out there who are going through what I am going through.
On a positive note, went to bed early last night, and when I woke up, no more sore throat. So maybe it was just due to a couple of nights not sleeping so well. I didn't want to get the flu or anything.
Hi Kbat...glad to hear that you are feeling better. I've been having a cough and bit of sore throat myself. Seems like it's really going around.
Still trying to get through each day and counting down the days until first beta test on Monday. Is anyone having any symptoms while on the 2ww? I keep feeling like af is coming. But also been really tired so not sure what's up.
I've been feeling really tired, but 2 nights I didn't really get a good night's sleep. I've been having some slight cramps like just b4 a/f--but from what I can tell that's not a bad thing. I've been extremely hungry. One week down--one more to go. By this time next Thurs. I should know either way. I am much more nervous for this result than previously--maybe because it's my last one???? But at least I know I gave it my all...
Hi! I'm feeling pretty tired myself. Trying to rest as much as possible but can't seem to get this out of my head. Trying not to analyze every symptom but can't help it.
Kbat...I know how you feel. We have been thru multiple IVF's and I feel like this is feeling like the end of the road for me too if it doesn't work. I've already had one break down earlier this week. Hubby probably thinks I'm officially losing it!
