Well I thought I would just update you all on how things went with my midwife appointment today.
I went to midwife, and my blood pressure was checked they say it is still high but it is not high high, today it was 130/70 on Saturday it was 120/78 and then its always been 110/60 but they are keeping an eye on it. The midwife is coming to the house on Tuesday to check my blood pressure so least they are keeping a close eye on me.
I mentioned about getting AF type pains, and also I am leaking slightly. She advised me to do floor exercises to try and tighten the muscles and as for the AF pains, she said this is normal towards the end of the pregnancy because of all the weight i'm carrying and the baby's head pushing further down.
She as booked me into the surgery again for the 16th Jan, but because I have an appointment at the hospital next week 9th Jan, she said I may not use that appointment at the surgery. She said probably what I will find is that when I go next week for my scan, they will tell me whether they will be inducing me or letting me go all the way. To be honest she doesn't think I will go till 40 weeks but she said the baby may surprise us all.
I will keep you all posted in the meantime if anything does materialise.
I also had an appointment with my midwife today. My BP was 120 / 80 and there was a trace of protein in my urine. However, she assured me that all was well and not to worry. She said that if my face started to swell to get myself down to the hospital for a check. However, she said that pre-eclampsia is less likley to have a sudden onset in late pregnancy and told me not to worry about it. I'm seeing her again next week so she can check my urine and BP again.
Other than that, I am feeling pains down below, and she was happy to hear that I had started to waddle!! Although the baby isn't fully engaged she said that the head was down and almost there!!
How exciting!!! The race is now on to see who drops first! I am due in 2 weeks and 2 days now. Hope it's not too late as it's getting bloody uncomfortable now!
