Kerpupples Congrats!!!! With the acupuncture, did you do it a lot, & if so did you get more & better eggs this time? Or did you get it just at ET? I'm officially addicted so I'm hoping it'll help

Love: No worries. Your doc is testing you earlier than the norm. You just tested wayyyy to early. You are only 11 days past ovulation. You would not get a positive till more likely Sunday or Monday on an hpt. Dont lose the PMA! You are still PUPO! I got my positive hpt at 13 days past ovulation and even then it was soooo faint ...that I almost completely missed it. It didnt get (normal) dark till 15 days past.

Love - I'm with Tammy on this...it could just be too early. We only have 3 more sleeps and I'm convinced we're both going to get our BFPs. I think we're the last 2 on this list so let's end it just like it started...with positives. Don't give up on the PMA, those little sticks are evil and I really do think it may have been too early to show up. If AF didn't show yet, then there's still a chance. Hang in there with me girl!
Thanks everyone for the congratulations. I had my second beta today and my HcG is now at 437! I have my first u/s in 2 weeks.
Rinnie - I just did acupuncture right before and after ET, 3 sessions total. I did have more mature eggs this cycle (18/18 retrieved as opposed to 12/20 last time) because we maintained a 10 unit dose of Lupron the entire time and waited another day to stim prior to ER.

Love - do you normallly get PMS cramps? I NEVER had cramps until the first day of aunt Flo. This IVF cycle I started having cramps about 4 days post ET and have been having them ever since. So don't let them kill your hopes! And the HPT may not be sensitive enough to sense your HcG levels yet.
Oh, and Donna - you and I shared our heartbreak last cycle as well. I'm so sorry! Take comfort in the four DC you have now and keep up hope!

ok started lupron on 2/21/08 and i should've gotten AF by now..wednesday as a matter of fact and NOTHING! my bbs hurt and nothing. i have a doc appt on 3/2 for b/w and u/s and i would start stims that day if af is here....but she hasn't started. so my question is has anyone used lupron and it delayed AF? i was taking 10 units of lupron. please help!
oh and no bcp. today is cd 30 and nothing. my cycles are usually about 28 or 29 days long.

Thank you everyone for your words of advise. I am taking everything in stride, this way I feel I can be more emotionally prepaired for a BFN, and if it's a BFP- I can celebrate even more!
Something just tells me this didnt work, but I am only 29, and my insurance pays 100% for 4 tries- so not all is lost.
I was wondering how soon people started again? I would like to start as soon as possible while I am still in my IVF routine.
Lovebug - my buddy, hang in there! It's not over yet, and you sound like you have a good head on your shoulders. I still think you may have tested too early. Nonetheless, for many of us (actually most of us) it doesn't work on the first try. I just like to think of my first one as practice. And wow...4 tries covered at 100%! That's amazing! You're right, all is not lost. You need to keep that positive thinking! We have to pay 100% of the cost out here. Stay positive girl...only 2 more days. I just got home from my first beta, but they won't give me the results until after the 2nd one...so the wait continues....
Oh...and to answer your question, it took me about 2.5 months between my first and second cycle. My doc waits for 2 periods...the one you get as soon as you stop all the meds, and then one more natural cycle...and AF was 2 weeks late, so that's why it took me so long. I see some gals who get started right back up again though...so I think it depends on your RE.

Well, I hate to be the bearer of bad news on this Sunday morning. Yesterday DH and I had to go to a funeral and we were really bummed out so we thought we could use some cheering up. We decided I would POAS since we were so sure it worked this time. Turns out it's a BFN. Our little plan kinda back-fired on us. Anyway, we'll get the official news from the doc tomorrow. Not sure what we're going to do now. My work schedule has me on the road every month from April until November, so it will probably be quite some time before we can fit another cycle in. Thanks so much for all of your support. I couldn't have gotten through any of this without you all.

Cornybaby: I had another BFN this morning too, but maybe there is hope for both of us. We are testing a little early, and I have read a few times people for BFN on hpt, only to get a positive BETA.
What time is your appointment tomorrow? Mine is 9:00 AM EST. I'll let you know wat I hear. I think DH and will wait until June to try again since working while doing this was hard, and I have summers off.
