Question about Gonal-F

I just had a question regarding dosage. Today at the ultrasound the doctor said that I wasn't responding as quickly as he had hoped after the first three days on 225 units so he is uping my dosage to 375 units a day. I am 27 years old and before treatment the doctors kept acting like I would stimulate quickly so I am a little worried that I am getting a slow start. Has this happened to anyone else here or I am silly to be worrying about such things?

During my first cycle, I was on follistom--same drug different manufacturer--and they upped my to 300 (I forget what they started me at). Ever since w/ either follistom or gonal-f, I've always taken 300 units. If this is your first cycle, they probably just don't know how you will react to the meds, so they are probably just adjusting it to see what is the correct dosage to you.

Thanks for your response! In addition to the number and size of the follicles, my doctor said they wanted to see my estrogen level at 100 today and I just found out it was only at 34. So I guess I am just freaking out a little. She has reassured me that they will just kick up the medication but I am having a hard time imagining my follicles and levels going up drastically enough in the next 12 days or so

I too am 27, and I have a low antral follies count, so doc have me high dose of 450 and I made alot more. At a prior cycle I stimmd on 75 units and only made 5, but of high quality. On the 450 dose I think I I erstimmed my eggs because only 1 made it to blast. So from my experience an
y opinion on how my body responds. I would stay somewhere in the middle with that being said 375, I wouldnt go any higher than that. Do not comprise quality for quantity. Best best wishes!
