pain after ET?! Please help!!

Post by dreamer38 »

Hi! I just had a quick question for you all if you wouldn't mind helping me out!

I just had my third attempt at a FET a week ago, and since the day of the transfer, I have had a constant crampy pressure feeling.(worse after a BM sorry tmi!) Sort of like my uterus is bruised! It's not cramps on and off, it's like just constant. After my previous ET's I've always felt the SAME way, ending with a BFN. Does this sound normal, anyone experienced this? Can a little embie still implant with me feeling all this yucky pain? Any advice would be SO helpful!! Thanks!

p.s. I didn't have any pain during the ET, it's just been happening after.

Hi Dreamer,
Don't give up hope! After my ET (2nd IVF) I had a severe cramp on a few ocassions, each lasting a few minutes. I also had light bleeding for like a day towards the end of my 2ww. This all got me soooo nervous. Alas, it must have been my wee one implanting, or my uterus getting ready, or whatever; Anyway, I'm 17 weeks along now :). I know it's not the same cramping you are experiencing, but everyone is different. Point is, cramping is not necessarily a bad thing. In fact, I still get cramps from time to time.

I wish you lots of luck, and thinking BFP thoughts for you.

Be well,
Shari

Hi Dreamer
After each of my cycles i have had cramping and pain in my bowels like it had been bruised i mentioned this to all of my doctors who didn't have a clue on my last cycle i mentioned it to the anethasist who suggested that is may have been free blood and its my body reacting to it and its nothing to worry about i would check with your doctor though to see what they say. And just to keep you positive it doesn't affect your results iv'e became pregnant all three times i did loose the first baby but i now have a ds and a baby on the way goodluck sending babydust yourway
