Hi Girls,

I have a few spare moments before the chaos desends!!

Jen - excellent news on the scan and lining! Here comes the BFP! I take it you will pop back over to IM and have the ET and then come back? How long will you have to stay out there for that?

Jules - good to see William is putting on weight. I think from what I have heard a lot of women struggle with B/F, but aren't the first 6wks the most important? Hoepfully you might get a bit more sleep if he is fuller and at least you can have more of a life if you aren't having to feed all the time! the newsagent thing sounds exciting, even if it is a big step. At the end of the day you have to do what is best for your family - let me know how it goes.

Nickie - how's your mum? Any news with the job swap? What about the house, any viewings?

Lisa - how's Mia? Any luck on the job front with Stuart?

Anyone heard from Lucy or Judy? If you're reading this guys hope you are ok?

As for me, we have decided to go with the tmt in Sweden - we just couldn't ignore the success rates! So now we are not going to do anything until June/July time so we can travel over during the 6wk holiday and not need time off work. Scans and such will be alot easier as well as the clinic is only just up the road, so no more long journeys up to London and days off work.

Jen & Lisa have you heard about a place called Lock Monzievaird, Crieff, Perthshire? DH and myself and few other friends and family have just booked a couple of chalets up there for over new year. Is it anywhere near you guys? It will be lovely just to get away, to be honest we are not bothered about doing too much while we are away apart from just relaxing and enjoying ourselves - is there much up there to see or do?

well the tests cacme back and all is okay in the immune department...woo hoo...so we are GOOD TO GO!!!! off now to book flights for next week and transfer is 29th feb at 1pm x x x

Hello guys, Ive been slacking and not posting. I am sorry Ive been like you julie, busy doing nothing!!!! LOL!!!

Work has been SSDD!! and no I didn get transfer to other office!! So just plodding on, grinning and bearing it!! Sigh!!!

Mum is ok, and car getting fixed!!! Thx for asking. Saw her Sunday, me & my Bro (and Mark of course) took her out for dinner for her b'day!!! She's now on internet, not sure thats a good thing, I can hear it now!!!
'Help, Ive got a virus!!' or 'help how do i down load this??' what does this mean??? Blah, blah, blah!!!
I told her about meeting Jen & Kate, and she want to get meeting people now!!! but she's worried about the wierdo's on the net!!!! Bless her!!!

I am now on the pill, and the ttc journey has paused!!! Notice how i say paused!!! not stopped!!!
Focusing on business first maybe we'll try IVF again, maybe we'll adopt, right now dont know, it will happen oneday!!! I am hoping pill will calm me down, and rid me of the PMT i suffer, so i can get on with life!!!
We are both sad, and the 1st pill i took, i did hesitate!!! but heck i am not going to preg, so just do it!!!

Julie, I think thats a great idea to buy the newsagents shop!! Sound like me & mark doing the business thing in a couple!!!
Is that in Bury? How much do you buy that for? Have no idea whats a reasonable price for that sort of business, but you muct check over accounts 1st, and get idea of profits etc.... Do you have an accountant you know of who can help??

Kate, you ok? The break away at new yr sounds good, will search that place on net laters, see where you are going.... I know its not near, moray/highlands, have been doing much research on that area, thats the area that most appeals to us..... Its lush!!!
Bet you cabnt wait for June/Jul to come round, I wish u all the best that you get your BFP by the end of the summer!!! xxx

Jen, wow, that would be great if you could meet us in skye!!! I just told mark, he's happy to see ya again too, I totally understand your'll be on 2ww when we are in inverness, you need to rest up!!!! Thats more important!!!!

I am busy packing and ironing stuff for barcelona...typiclly DH has just decided he wants half his wardrobe wasshed and ironed cos he MIGHT take one or 2 items anyway we are hangingin there...Imuunes ok and all booked for leaving wed and transfer friday home late sunday night...will post monday or tues but wil txt nicki with news x x x so hopign little ones defrost okay!!!!!!!!!!!!!! PIL called last night ( whom know nothing about the transfer soon) and have deided to drop by for 3 days before going to their time share abroad...guess what date they are due ..13th march night before test day and are staying to the 15th (day after test day)...Dont know about you guys but i am a nervous wreck at these days goodness knows...but poor DH needs some time with hs family so i couldnt say no...too selfish of me...will just cope and give me something to keep my mind on other things eh!!!!!!!!!

anyway off to paint toes and de fluff legs ( okay okay TMI)

Jen, hiya.... Its prob a good thing PIL are coming day before and after test day, it'll keep your mind off it!!! I have found that its drives you insane waiting, and hoping etc.... so parhaps this way is best!!! These things happen for a reson, and you know maybe them coming will be like a lucky omen!!!!
You are so gonna get preg with that juicy lining!!!!

Hi Girls!

Did you feel the earthquake last night???? I did!!! Proper freaked me out. Was sat in semi-darkness feeding William at 1am and the whole house shook. I am such a mardy pants it scared me.

As for newsagency I think it is a no goer. It is #50k for business which would be ideal if it was just the business but also #250k for the premises (3 bed house/flat). We have considered renting it out etc to cover repayments and make a profit but would need a lot of renovation. Could be done but when speaking to the bank no bank will lend first timers more than 75% so we would need approx #50k deposit and #40k for the debt owed by the customers (sounds lots but 850+ customers on monthly bills) and we dont have enough equity in the house etc so is just too much of a gamble. There is another business I have my eye on and will keep you posted......I really dont want to have to go back to work but need the income and it would free me up so I could spend a load more time with William.

JEN - GOOD LUCK HUN!!!!!!!!!!!!! PIL COMING WILL TAKE MIND OFF TEST DAY AND THEY CAN BE THE FIRST TO HELP YOU CELEBRATE YOUR BFP. I REALLY HOPE AND WILL PRAY THIS WILL WORK FOR YOU AND ADAM. YOU MORE THAN DESERVE IT.

We are doing very well- me dh and dhruvaa- she's talking these days- gave me a horrid scare 3 days back when she had convulsions due to fever..my life flashed in front of my eyes when i saw her turn blue..was a nightmare all right, but now she is on the road to recovery..

Julie - wow a new business, sounds like a plan! Sorry this one won't work out. Be sure to let us know about new venture when you can. Glad you are happier with the feeding now. You just have to do what is best for all of you. I have a firend who was determined to breast feed exclusively for 6 months because that was the gold standard but has just about had a nervous breakdown as her boy is so hungry hewas constantly waking . Thankfully she has seen sense now. Can't believe William is over 2 months now! Has he had his first jags yet? xxx

Smita - wow your wee one is 2 now. Glad she is on the mend, sorry to hear she wasn't well xxx

I am so sorry I have been absent

This business with dh working further away now has taken its toll temporarily

He leaves at 7 am and gets back at 7 pm. So I get Mia ready for bed then he gives her last bottle when he gets in, then I get cook tea whilst he's doing that then we eat after 8 pm then I'm knackered! And as Mia on solids 3 times daily now I am constantly chopping, peeling, boiling, pureeing and freezing fruit and veg

after tea! On days off dh has been doing his cv and application forms for new jobs back in Ayrshire so has felt like there's no time for anything else at mo but its a good hectic. But I check in on you all the time when I don't have time to post. OK I am off to bed as Mia has had a cold and has been waking several times in the night in the last few days as her poor wee nose is all blocked. So want to get some shut eye as soon as poss!

spoke to nicki today she has looked at many b&B's we are meeting up thursday...would love to have met up a fews tmes as i am off work just now but am totally whacked and just want to lay low. x x she was so understanding. x x
my 5th transfer and 1st FET went well ..an hour wait for transfer which time i was just about peeing in the corridor waiting ( no am not being kinky here...in Spain they do transfer on a full bladder)...flight back was shit due to weather and we were 10 hrs late x x hey ho i am pupo and am happy at that for the mo. Am having PJ day and chilling but will post soon x x x

Lis - Sounds like you are having a busy time of it. Hope things improve with Stuarts job etc. Is Mia feeling better? Hope you enjoyed your first Mothers Day. We are fine - went out for the day on Sunday. Got a lovely card and flowers off William. Cant wait til he is old enough to buy me some tatty pressies! Speaking to clinic when go tomorrow. William is still taking 39 - 42 ounces a day and still waking around 3 and 6. Introduced a hungry baby bottle at 8pm but makes no difference!

Jen - Thinking of you hun. Glad all went well in Spain although the travelling and waiting sounds a real pain. Have plenty of PJ days
