I am trying to decide between the Cleveland Clinic in Ohio and the Jones Institute in Pittsburgh, PA. I already have been treated at the Jones Institute but they seem to be so cautious that I'll never get anywhere but to bankruptcy! They cancelled my fresh IVF transfer due to high E2 levels and I was forced to do an FET with the frozen embryos. Of course, that was negative. Now I am either going to do 1 more fresh cycle and then an FET or just an FET with the remaining embryos from Jones Institute. I am thinking about traveling to Cleveland though for the fresh cycle. I have heard that they are more aggressive and therefore more successful. They are also significantly less expensive. Any input on either clinic would be much appreciated.
I love the Cleveland Clinic! I am over 7 weeks pregnant on my first IVF try. I had no problems at all with the protocol Dr Goldfarb chose for me. I am almost 40 and have never been pregnant. My first visit to him was Jan 2nd and I had my first beta on Feb 11th. They dont mess around. I did come from a clinic in Akron first and had already had alot of the preliminary IVF stuff already done, but still...very happy.

Thanks for your input! I had all the preliminary stuff done too since I did an IVF cycle in Pittsburgh already. Hopefully Cleveland will use all those testing and just get right to the point!
I LOVE Cleveland Clinic. I just completed my third IVF there. The first two were at McGee in Pittsburgh with no results but a big neg. The folks at CC were fantastic. I only had two embryos to transfer and they called to reassure me that it "just takes one." Now I am 7 weeks and doing great. They just released me to an OBGYN.
This was my last shot. We had already spent so much money on this and I am 40. We are so thankful that we went there! I recommend them to everyone!!!
Good luck to you!
