here is an update on me. and I would like to thank the ones who responded to my worrisome question about AF.


So, i went into today to have u/s and b/w. ok the u/s scared the crap out of me. the doc whom i never seen before came in and did u/s and she wasn't easy at all and it hurt. then she proceeds to say well that is probably due to this HUGE cyst on your ovary and i'm like WHAT? I'm thinking to myself, i don't have cysts like that except for when i ovulate. and that has been about 2 weeks and plus i was on lupron, so how in the world could it be a cyst. she acted as if she didn't want to tell me anything...then she says it could be a hydro in the tube. I'm thinking to myself, hold up a minute. I had surgery 12/29/07 to remove BOTH my tubes, so how in the world is there a hydro. it was on the side my RE closed up, so i know there will be no leakage per the hsg i had recently. Anyway. So i get the call and thankfully everything is a GO! So i asked the nurse that called if it was a cyst and he said the doc noted it as a hydro b/c my b/w came back good. So, now i'm going to make a call to my RE tomorrow to find out what the heck is going on and why my tube is still in. He didn't perfom the surgery on 12/29/07 an OBgyn did as I was in the emergency room due to an ectopic. Anyway, enough rambling. I start my follistim tonight. i have to take 300 units tonight along w/ 10 units of low dose hcg and also reduce lupron to 5 units. of cours dh and I are taking the antibiotics. So, monday going forward i'll be taking 150 untis of follistim in the AM and again in the PM. I go in Friday for b/w and u/s. so wish me luck!

Love - my appointment is at 8 PST. Last time they called between 3 and 4, so I am assuming the same for tomorrow. I'll be sure to watch out for you, and I'm still praying for you. It's funny, last BFN I wasn't emotional at all...maybe because I didn't have high hopes, and we had paid for 2 tries so I knew I had another shot. This time around, I've been a basketcase. I cried all morning. I guess it's just because of the unknown road I have ahead of me. Anyway...have a great night. It would be nice if these darn HPTs were wrong.

Well, I got the Dr. just called and I have a BFN. I was really glad I did POAS because I was very emotioanlly ready for the phone call.

DH and I are going to get sloppy drunk and have wild sex tonight to make up for everything ;0) j/k

Lovebug - so sorry to hear, but I am glad that you were prepared. It makes things a little easier. I love your plans for the rest of the day. Mine are similar. We live a block from the beach in SoCal and it's about 80 degrees here, so we just went out and had lunch and a couple of cocktails...not bad for a Monday. Anyway, I hope you can try again right away. We've decided on 2 doctors that we want to meet with. Our next consult is on April 14 with one of them. Anyway, I'll check back from time to time.

Thanks again for everyone's support, I don't know how we would all get through it without this wonderful network.

And RIO - if there were a prize for the bestest, most supportive buddie...you would win for sure! You are amazing and I can't wait to hear how your pregnancy progresses.

Hi Tammy!! I'm so glad everything is going well!

Rio Yep...all on track for May. I get my 2nd AF next week & the TCM doctor is aiming for longer & not so dark so it'll be interesting to see if there's a difference. Then FSH level after AF #3 & I'll start BCP for a month for the flare protocol. So onward we go

Well my friends, how's this for a kick in the pants! My doc's office just called with the results of my beta...turns out it's a BFP! Don't get too excited though...my first beta was a 13 and the 2nd was 23...so it didn't quite double. We are cautiously optimistic but they don't expect it to be a viable pregnancy. We go back on Wed for another beta...hoping it gets to 46. I've been bleeding like normal AF...and now of course feeling really guilty about the mamosa at lunch today. Darn-it, I knew those little sticks were evil! Anyway...say a prayer for us that this lil' guy is a fighter!

I guess I'm back! At least for a few more days.
