Good Morning - I still read this thread to see how everyone is doing. So glad to see that you are all gearing up for FET and round #2 (or whatever) but another shot anyway. You are in my thoughts as I am sure it doesn't get easier or less stressful one would think.

I am going to be 13 weeks pregnant tomorrow and am looking forward to getting to the second trimester. I am supposed to be writing my dissertation, but I only work on average about 1/2 a day on thesis stuff and then I am too tired to be coherent. The winter also hits me pretty hard every year and I find it tough to be motivated to do much of anything. I am going to Flordia next week for a conference and hope to see much sun! Of course, I have to give a talk - the price one 'pays' for such a trip.

OK - breakfast time. Hang in there waiting ladies. Your 2ww will be here before you know it, and then linger...
Melissa

Esperanza & Ms G -- I have everything crossed for your transfer on the 19th.

Esperanza my 2ww bud, you promised to be a 2008 mommie with me so don't disappoint (smile). Can't wait to hear the BFPs from you and Ms. G. You girls so deserve it.

As for me, I feel like I'm trying to catch this cold bug. Don't want that. I have one week left of taking the progesteron suppositories and the estrace tablets and than I'm done with all the extra meds. I have my first regular OB appointment next Friday so I am excited about that. Also we have meds left over and sent what we had left back to the company and I just saw a $452 credit on my credit card. Although the meds were very expensive, wasn't thinking that we were geeting nearly that much back. Also since we paid $22K for our procedure under the shared risk program, DH claimed that, our meds and transportation back and forth to clinic (2 hours each way) on his taxes and boy do our refund look very good this year. I feel like we hit the jackpot all the way around. He's taking me to Cancun for vacation in June before the baby come as a big thank you for everything.

I am a very happy woman these days.

To everybody, so much luck and Baby Dust to you all.

Andnichole my Shady Grove bud, please take care of those precious babies.
Me, 40 - DH, 47
IVF #1: POSITIVE - Michaela born 9/19/08
IVF #2: Consult on 10/13/09 - Start BCP Dec since clinic will be closed for the Holiday.

Esperanza,
I'm thrilled for you that your transfer date is such good timing. It will really help! I think that having vacation time over the holidays around my ET helped me stay chill, and as we all know, that's the thing that counts most during ET and in the crucial week after.

I have been reading the boards. I can't seem to stop, and wish you the very best. My thoughts are with you. Us, Easthampton girls have to stick together!!!

Esperanza and Mrs G- Congrats on the 19th, just a few weeks away now, we will all be rooting for you!

Neffi- I can't wait to find out the sex either, and yes, we have some names picked out. We are most excited about the girls name, because that is what we are hoping for. It will be Ella Michele if it is a girl, definitely, we both agree and love the name and family likes it too. We are still tossing around boys names, but are leaning towards Nicholas Todd. We know the middle name will be Todd b/c that is dh's name. We didn't want any jr's but we definitely wanted to use our first names as middle names.

Hope everyone is having a good friday, and enjoy a well deserved weekend!

Mrs. G--See, our babies want to be buddies, that's why AF was not coming...you were waiting for me...lol! YAY, we are both getting our transfers on the same day!!!!! how many are you planning on transferring? What's your protocol like? mine seems so much simpler than the fresh cycle. Right now I'm just taking 1mg of estance twice a day.

MLB--so good to hear from you honey. 13 weeks! time is just flying by. I'm so glad you're on your second trimester. I'm glad you have a chance to go to FL, yes, sun! I need that. I'm SO ready for the spring to come. Good luck presenting your paper...I hear you about "the price on must pay"

andnichole--Thank you sweety! I'm planning on joining you with the twins pregnancy

WashingtonDA-- a promise is a promise...I told you we will both be 2008 mommies. Who knows? maybe our babies will end up at the same college or something!

I hope you are not catching a cold, my dh has been SO sick for the past week...poor thing. I told DH about your cancun vacation, and he said we might do something like that during my second trimester :D we both so, so, so deserve it.

LostGirl-- yeah hun, you bet, us, Easthampton girls stick together  Thank you for your love and support, it really means a lot to me!

Michele--thank you! It's great to think about names. I'm looking forward to getting to that stage, although I have some thoughts. My brother keeps reminding me about kindergarten and high school time, hahahhaha, he says "whatever you choose, just remember that kids can be mean, so pick a good name." The other name he sent me an article from BBC news about funny names in the UK, and the heading on his e-mail was "Do not do this to your children...I repeat, DO NOT" ...he cracked me up.

Neffi-- hi my dear! AF dance for you:

I'm sorry you had to go through such a hard time with your friend. Please know that you're not alone AND that those feelings are completely normal. I've been there many times now. After I lost my first baby, I had to do therapy because I was having a really hard time with it, and my therapist told me not to feel guilty for having those feelings, she said that they are part of the process. And hey, you and your dear friend will be pregnant at the same time...she'll be a bit more advance, but that's ok, your babies will be peers!

Ok, to everyone....I'm SO happy our thread is staying alive and that we are all are going to get our BFPs eventually, what a joy and a great experience. LUV to all.

oh! I forgot to mention that DH told me this morning during breakfast that he had an "interesting" dream.... he dreamed that we were having triplets....and that he started crying when he found out. I asked him, why did you cry? of excitement? happiness? he said "NO, I was scared...I thought to myself, 'what are we going to do?' this is it for me! bye bye dreams, now I have to wok hard to feed three babies, how about when it's time for them to go to college...?"

I thought I would share...funny!

Esperanza-- thank you for letting me know my feeling are okay. I do feel better today! Thats so funny about the triplet dream! At this point I would take triplets! Although I think I'd rather have just twins, but 3 is better than none! :D :D My DH always acts the same...what are you going to do for daycare? I'll have to get a second job? We'llhave to sell the house! I just laugh and say we will deal with it when it comes! I used to be such a planner, now....life as shown me that I have to take everyday just as that day....things will work...we will have our babies in December! Just thinking of december makes me cold....I also cant wait for SPRING!!!!!!!

Neffi - good luck today with your baseline. Hope AF arrived so that you didn't have to cancel!

washingtonda - stay well - hope the cold you feel coming on doesn't amount to much more than the sniffles. Nice that you pharmacy allowed you to send back your unused meds. I had no idea you could do that. Congrats on graduating from your RE to your reg ob/gyn! You sound really great. Enjoy that upcoming holiday in Cancun. What a terrific DH you have!

big hello to pumma, esperanza, mrs. g, unexplained, ct michele, tammy & everyone! please think of me on Tuesday - I have a 4 hr drive tomorrow to get to my RE appt and snow is predicted! Will let you know how everything went. Hope to come home with a new plan in hand!

Neffi--Tell us, how did it go???

Michele--you're so right, I love coming back here and reading everyone's posts.

Amy, I'm thinking of you...I hope the snow is not too bad so you can make it back and forth safely. BEST WISHES at your RE's office!

WashingtonDA--how are you feeling dear?

As for me, i went to get my first blood work done today. My nurse called me to say that everything looked great, to continue taking my estrance as planned, and to come back on Thursday for b/w and u/s. Then she called me again a couple of hours later and left me a message on my answering machine. Apparently the doctor said that because of my values today (don't ask me why) I don't needed an u/s on Thursday (?????), so I am supposed to come in on Friday instead for b/w only. I don't know if that's good or bad. I got the message late, so I was not able to call back before they closed, but I will be calling tomorrow to ask some questions. I'll keep you posted!

Well Ladies I had to cancel my baseline this morning :( I just started spotting when I woke up this morning! So when I called they said to wait until tomorrow. I got AF (full flow) about 10 minutes ago :D :D So baseline is 8:30 tomorrow! Im just glad it came! I dont want to wait anymore! Thanks for all your thoughts!

Esperaza-- maybe everything just looked great and they dont need blood work! Im sure everything is fine, but I would be the same way, I would call as soon as they open tomorrow...but Im a little crazy!
