LostGirl--they only do BW b/w 7-9, so I can just wait until tomorrow. Plus, they told me about 20 times NOT to do a pregnancy test, so I don't think they would be amenable....I wish:lol:

Thanks ladies - I left a voicemail for my nurse! Your emails gave me the courage (why i need to gather courage to call a nurse) but they can be so nasty I get scared to call...asked for my appt to be moved to Friday. If she is having a good day I bet it will be - if she is having a bad day she'll say no...witch

I know I said congratulations on the other thread, RunnerKate, but congrats again! I'm still tearing up...you must think I'm crazy ;) Tears of joy and hope I guess.

Is everyone else hanging in there? I have a long way to go as I don't test until March 14th! Sounds weird, but I wish I wasn't finding out that day. My husband will be away for work, and I have a big test on Saturday...if it's a negative I don't know if I will be in much shape to use my brain. Oh well. Maybe it will be a bfp! Bet I still won't be in a state to use my brain

:D Here's spreading prayers and baby dust to all of you!! :D

brs888 - I don't think that is weird - that is alot of s***t going on in one day!! Take it one day at a time...that's really all we can do!

I tried to find on my own what "ve" means in your post by googling but can't find it - does it mean viable embryo?

Ladies.. thought I will pop in here since I am on my 2ww also.. test is on 3/10, so one week over one more to go!!! I am considering giving them my DH's cell number to call after the test so he can break it to me rather than me hearing it from a stranger. We will see, there is still time to decide that. I am keeping PMA this time.. so far so good except that my fingernails are facing all the brunt of my nervousness!!!! Yesterday was my birthday.. had a nice dinner and ofcourse I don't have to tell you what I wished for when I blew the candle

Irishhop - did you hear back from the nurse? I hope they call you in on friday and shorten your wait.. I think the "-ve" means negative and "+ve" means "positive" in brs888's post.

kbat - aren't you testing tomorrow?. good luck! I will be praying for your BFP!

Hi RunnerKate...congratulations are definitely in order! Good luck with your beta tomorrow....I will be thinking of you. I go in for my 2nd tomorrow and really anxious about it still. I definitely feel more tired though and sometimes I think it's probably all from the progesterone shots.

Iccin...I still think it's a bit early for you with POAS. Hope the two lines come soon!!

IrishHope ...let us know if you get your day changed. Either way we are thinking of you and hopefully the nurse drank her "happy juice" today!

kbat...how are you doing? Only a few more days to go, right?

Good luck to all the ladies testing this week and next. Positive thoughts for everyone!

RunnerKate--that's awesome... And you were worried about the exercising.... I am so happy for you.

I test Thurs morning. (3/6) It's going sooooo slowly. Although cramping is "normal" I would like to have peace of mind--especially the cramping is worse during some times than others...... Of course, dh won't be home until late that night, so I am on my own either way w/ the news. My nurse ususally doesn't call until about 4-5 pm.

Irish--I hear you on the nurse. I don't know why my nurse is even in the type of nursing. She's just so miserable. I don't like calling her either because I always wonder if she's going to "understand" my question as most of the time her answers don't make sense. And she's goofed up in the past, that I don't trust her. But it's my last cycle so I will just have to deal w/ it only for a little while longer.

BTW--anyone getting any type of discharge at all? Sorry for the tmi...

Kbat... I also test on thursday and time is totally standing still. The cramping seems to come and go as well. Some days I feel hardly anything. I woke up this afternoon from a nap with really bad ones but they never last.

Come on Thursday!!!!

*HUGS* Stay strong kbat.. we can make it!

justjenis--I know we will make it... It seems like the finish line is in sight, just going in slo mo. I guess trying to stay busy so I don't dwell on it so much.... At least tomorrow night I go to my knitting class, so by the time I get home, I will be tired and go to bed and before I know it, it'll be time to test. At least my cramps don't really last for long either.

I will be bringing in my leftover meds to "donate" since this is my last cycle....It's only some ganerelix and one gonal-f pen, but I hate to waste them by throwing them away. I just hope they give it to someone who can really use them. I've heard about how some clinics, the nurses give them out to their friends. Since my insurance covers it and I go through a mail order and usually get a bunch for the one co-pay (i.e. I can get up to 5 ganerelix at one time for just the one co-pay, 4 gonal-f pens at once for one co-pay, etc.). I had one ganerelix left over from my ivf cycle #5, so I was able to use that w/ only one other ganerelix so I have 4 left over. Anyway, I just hope I remember to bring it in.

Happy Birthday, IndieRad! Sounds like you had a good day :)

Yes, the -ve and +ive in my signature means negative and positive respectively. I know...I should stick with the BFP BFN since that is what everyone is famililar with.

Does anyone currently have any children besides myself? I have been feeling really guilty lately...that I am being selfish for wanting another child. I saw a couple the other day with one perfectly healthy 4 year old and a 10 month old with Down's syndrome. It made me feel like I should just be happy with my wonderful healthy daughter...like maybe God is trying to tell me something. The weird thing is...it hurts just as much going through this even with my daughter. Sorry to get so deep on everyone.

I get everyone confused...I have no brain these days...who is testing next? Even though I can't keep it all straight, my thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

Take care,
Brandy

Hallo to all you beautiful people in the 2WW (and the PG ones of course!),

Well, I think I'm slowly going insane

I have just POASed agan - and again a BFN

I'm 9dp3dt today.......

I don't know what to think anymore, my beta is on Saturday (8 March and 12dp3dt) - do you think this cycle is bust or do you think there's still a chance?

According to a PM I sent Ghost there's still hope. Here's what he said:

"Too early.

At this point, a typical singleton would have your levels in the 10-20 range, and could still be zero (late implantation). That's below what the manufacturer claims your test will detect, and the claims are often optimistic.

Most of the women getting positives at this point are twins and above. Even then it's not reliably detected with these kits. Possible, but not reliable.

Chin up. You still have a chance."

Your opinions please???!!!!

HI all - Iccin - tooo early still!! I really think anything before 10dpt and 12 dpo is a roll of the dice so KEEP THE FAITH!!

Kbat/JJenis- wow tomorrow the big day!! Thinking of you...only one more night of sleep!

brs888 - so kbat and JustJenis are up next to test! don't feel guilty...I think well for me personally waiting/wanting your first baby there is such a sense of desparation...b/c you aren't even sure still if you'll ever be a Mom...for me that is the hardest thing. Wanting a family is natural...don't beat yourself up!

so no call back from Nurse Ratchett yet...I will wait until Noon today...I really want my test Friday b/c honestly I do not think this cycle worked and the PIO shots are starting to be painful and my legs are sore to walk/cross my legs so I really can't do them all wknd and wait for 3/10 test...I'm so frustrated/angry at having to deal with this woman...they tell you not to stress and then they have "dipshi***s/insensitive/incompetent nurses...yeah that helps! Ok i ranted for this morning...I have the lower back pain I always get w/ AF and no other symptoms - I just want the answer already and move on...

Iccin, it's definitely still too early! My beta's were on days 9 and 11 but my RE doesn't give the results until the 2nd one, and when I POAS'd on day 10 I STILL got a negative, only to find out on day 11 that it was positive after all. Those little sticks are evil and you could very well be preggers. My beta on day 11 was 23 and still that night, the line on the stick was so light we couldn't even see it until we were in the daylight the next day. And my brand supposedly detects anything above 20. Hang in there!
