Barbarella- Sorry that I never heard of that before and sorry you have to deal with this...I will keep thinking of and praying for you and that little one...Will you get the scan next week? The internet might drive you nuts if you read too much...did your doctor say that it's just a waiting type thing I'm assuming and nothing you can do exactly...that's so hard... again, I'm hoping all the best for you Barbarella.

Chrysty- It's no fun to wait- that's for sure! You can try to think about other things but only one thing is really always on your mind! That's great that you have stayed away from POAS...I waited the whole time and never did one cuz my dh really wanted me to resist and I somehow did but I know I thought about it every single day and wanted to do it so bad...but after I found out it was a bfp, I did two just to see those two lines for the first time in my life :)... I'll keep you in my prayers and wish you +++++++++ thoughts...be strong!!

My quick update is that there is no update! I checked with my RE office yesterday and they said I have to wait 2 weeks from inducing AF for her to come...As I mentioned before, I usually don't use the generic of this med and that it probably the issue- I could just hit myself so it's now been 9 days since I finished the med and usually it just takes 2-3 days and AF comes...this is so annoying!!! Oh well...one day I'll get to finally get going I hope...

HI! Just wanted to post real quick :D

Donnell I'm SO glad everything is ok for you!!! Thank goodness, and hopefully your 2nd trimester will be a lot smoother, and you can enjoy it finally!!!

Barbarella I havent heard of that happening, I'm sorry you're going through it! I've heard so many things happen early on, and most of the time they work out for the better. Just remember your little ones heart is beating in there! I'll be thinking of you, and let us know when you decide to do your next scan

Chrysty the 2ww is awful! Too many thoughts roll around in your head and it's sort of a guessing game! Hopefully that POAS will be 2 bright lines for you this week!

lauradc I bet the wait seems so long for you! I'm sure it will be worth it!

Beth I know how people's remarks can get to you! In the beginning it was like, yes we're planning on having kids, now I feel like telling people to keep their fat mouth shut!! LOL Haha! So many people don't understand....!

Have a good Wednesday everyone! :D

Oh damn have already posted this once but the screen crashed and I lost it. I wouldn't mind if I could type with more than 2 fingers! :x

Am going to be short and sweet now :D
Went to see the doc today - we can go for the next transfer cycle as soon as AF comes again.
This could be in 18 days time!!!!!!!
I think though that I shall give body a brief rest and also grace work with my presence for a month!

So shall be looking out for some of you on an April/May thread - yippee!!
I shall also try every complementary therapy going this time (well maybe not all!!)

Sending you all lots of love and hugs

Karen ~ YAY!!! That is quick. I will be watching and praying for you.

Faith ~ How are you doing? Yes, the 2nd trimester can't come soon enough for me. I keep praying everyday it just eventually comes.

Laura ~ Sorry, I was hoping things were moving along. I guess they technically are, with each passing day. We are always waiting for something, aren't we?

Chrysty ~ I know the wait is miserable. Let us know if you POAS and good luck. I am praying for you!!! BFP BFP BFP!!!

Barbarella ~ When I had my U/S - the sac measured 5w5d and the baby measured 6w1d (which is what I was). What was the heartbeat today? I think if the heartbeat remains strong you should be OK. I hate that he told you that you are still high risk for miscarriage without explanation. Are you going back next week for another scan or will you wait? I think I will do as many U/S as I possibly can because once the RE releases me I don't know when I will get another one. Thinking of you...

Tomorrow is my U/S with DH. I am praying everything is still going strong.

Donni- I really hope all goes well with your ultrasound tomorrow. I will be thinking about you and saying a prayer for you. Let us know how it goes.

Karen- That's great that you have a plan for when to start again. It's always good to know what you'll do next and now you can enjoy some time of no shots and hormones for a while, right?! What complementary therapies will you try or which ones have you done before? Best wishes to you!

Laura - I think I shall try acupuncture. I am a physiotherapist and already practice it for pain relief so am quite interested in trying it.

I looked at the cost of it yesterday and the woman that the clinic reccommends is £85 per session or $170 in US money.
This last cycle has just cost us 7500 pounds so am not sure - but if it works!!!!!! :?

Hiya Girlies

Donnell - thanks so much for telling me what yours is, as i was starting to crack up!! I have been going through the internet and not really finding anything that was helping me. I have booked in for a scan next week the 12th, these waits are starting to get to me, all the time thinking what will it be this week!! How did you get on at your scan today!!

KYW - I did acupuncture and I really enjoyed the relaxing time, i felt like it made me really relaxed about the FET. It is also supposed to encourage blood flow to your uterus.

Melo- Whats happening, How are you!

Chrystyvog -How are you doing! Not long now for your trip to whistler...

Faith, Laura, Beth hope you are all ok !! :)

Loads of Happy smiley vibes to everyone xxx

WWYD?

I have beta scheduled for 3/14, that's Friday. Office is closed on Thursday. Dr was going back and forth between beta on Wednesday 3/12 or Friday 3/14. I know if I call I could go in on Wednesday. Why do you think he said Friday though? Just extra time? We transfered 2 hatching blasts on 3/1.

AND I leave for Whistler on 3/15 - 3/29. That means no 2nd or 3rd beta! Do you think I will go crazy. I guess I could go and get a blook draw in Whistler.

WWYD with the beta schedule and with getting another draw in Whistler.

I am trying to think positively!

TIA

Crysty ~ Sounds like you can go in Wed & do another draw Fri. That's what I would do. They don't like you going to different labs because there can be a difference in the labs. That's what I would do. Good luck!

Geez Louise ladies- I can't for the life of me figure out how to make the darn thing smaller. So we will have to deal with me being a pain and having a larger pic for about a day, until we can post enough to get to page 2.

Well - the U/S went wonderful today. The baby's heart beat increased from 116 to 126bpm in 3 days. I am 6w4d and the baby was measuring 6w5d. The sac though instead of measuring behind is measuring now a week ahead - 7w5d??? The baby is 9mm - whatever that means. Everything looks great.

They said I could go back next week, but DH has to work all week - so I think I will schedule something the following week. I asked her when I might be able to "breathe" and she said that there is a lot that goes on developmentally around 8-9 weeks - so that is when they sometimes see problems. (She didn't do a very good job at keeping me calm). So.... staying on meds and waiting it out. I am really tired, DH was off all day so we have been running around. I will catch up later.

Lots of love ladies!!!

Donnell- Oh what a beautiful picture again!!! That's so wonderful that all was well!!! If you have a ruler handy, look at it and count 9 mm which is I think a little over a half an inch and that is your amazing little baby!!!! (I think that's right!) Anyhow, I am so happy for you and dh and I truly believe that all will continue well for you. I will certainly continue to pray for you.

Chrysty- I think Donnell is right about getting two betas before you go out of town. I guess I too would not be able to handle waiting so long without another one...maybe your clinic would know a place there that would be ok to get your other betas drawn. You might as well ask and see if that's a possibility. Good luck!!

Karen- I think I remember reading that acupuncture can help increase the blood flow to the uterus, is that right? I'm sure it's worth trying. When are you going to give it a try?

Barbarella, Beth, Faith, Mel- Hi all and have a nice weekend!

Well I'm happy to say that AF finally showed up last night- yippppeeee!!! Now I hope to not see her after this for a long time!!!! So today is day one and I will have my bloodwork and us on Monday, day 4. And I hope all will be well to go ahead and start this FET! I'm so happy that I can finally get going so I'm thinking if all is ok, I'd get to have the transfer now near the mid-end of April so we'll see...

One more random thing, are any of you country music fans by chance?? I definitely am and my favorite is George Strait! I heard a new song of his today called "I Saw God Today" and I totally cried- it's so nice. Just wondering...:)

Hi All

Heck - I must have a pea brain - I can't keep up with what is happening with everyone - even right after I go through and read the thread - so sorry if missing what is happening with all of you . . .

I had my FET on thursday – aaaaaaahhhhggg. I test next Monday (17th) aaaaahhhh again.

Barbarella - everything will work out - you have gotten so far and so am sorry your having to deal with the extra uncertanties. Keep us posted on everything, and hope you get through the next week without worrying too much

Donnell -lovely to see the pic - you must be stoked

Laura and Beth - are you guys now both waiting for to start new cycles (either Fresh or Frozen - your thinking April right?)

I'd love to hear more about the acupuncture - are you supposed to start it well before transfer - would it all be a bit late in the day if I tried to squeeze it in now??

Hi to everyone else too (Faith, Karen, Chrysty). I hope my very bad bad bad memory - is a sign of implantation!!
