neffi - hope all goes well at the RE today - glad AF arrived only a day late!-- better late than never! -- looking forward to hearing your news.

esperanza - what did the clinic say? hopefully that things look really great and that you are good to go. good luck with the b/w on Friday!

andnichole - how are things with you and your twins?

just back from the RE -- luckily the snow held out till I pulled back into my driveway this afternoon! hooray! - dry roads there and back... :D
and, I've got a plan! my RE said everything looks good to start stimms on March 14, with ER planned for 26/27 March and ET 5 days later...

take care, girls! xx Amy

Hello, hello to all my IVF BFFs!!!!

Amy--I'm SO glad that it didn't snow. phew! and yay! for you your plan. it's finally happening!!!!!!!

Well, I talked to my wonderful nurse this morning (have I told you how much I appreciate her?), and she said that "it was a good thing"..yiiipiiii! they don't need the ultrasound because they know things are where they are supposed to according to my values, so no need for an u/s at this point. We are doing one on day 14 (next week). Thank you Amy and Neffi for your words.

All I can think of right now is: BABIES ARE COMING HOME BY THE END OF THIS YEAR!!!!!

Luv to all.

Neffi211: I'm glad that AF showed, even if she was a day late.

Esperanza: That is great news that you don't need the u/s. I really think this is your, Neffi and Amy's time!

Amy2410: That is great that you have a plan and the first day will be here before you know it! I'm doing good. Nothing new to report. I won't have another appt. until I see the high risk OB on March 14. I did find out from my regular OB on Friday that they will induce me at 37 or 38 weeks if I don't go into labor before that on my own so they will be September babies. My belly is already starting to pop out (I'm only 8 weeks and 3 days).

Hey ladies -- Just checking in to say hello. Just read the posts and it looks like everyone is moving right along. I can't wait for you FET girls to get those transfers. I am so excited for all of you.

Does anyone know where Schel is? I hope all is okay with her.

I am doing okay. Still trying to shack this cold but I'll survive. The baby has been behaving itself since I've been sick with this cold. I guess it knows mommy doesn't feel well and didn't want to make matters worse for me with nausea and exhaustion as I had a few weeks ago. The baby and all the early pregnancy symptoms are getting much better. Sunday is my last day on Estrace and Endometrin so I'm home free after that.

I have my first OB appointment this Friday so I will let you'll know how that goes. I am scheduled for that Nuchal test with the clinics High Risk Doctor on the 18th (that's the scariest visit of all). Please pray that everything looks good there. That's about all I have going.

I am going to Las Vegas for a conference for my job April 12-17th so hopefully that will be a good little vacation for me. DH is taking vacation from work that week to accompany (as you knew he would because he's been so protective) me. I feel good about that just incase I get there and not feel good or something. I have something that can do the running around for me (hehe).

Well you girls take it easy and keep the post coming.

Andnichle -- How are those babies?

Esperanza -- Kids, Same college, 2008!!! Promises, Promises. Yeah, Yeah I'm gonna put the pressure on ya but it's only because I love ya. I'm waiting patiently for that BFP!!!!
Me, 40 - DH, 47
IVF #1: POSITIVE - Michaela born 9/19/08
IVF #2: Consult on 10/13/09 - Start BCP Dec since clinic will be closed for the Holiday.

What's your protocol like? mine seems so much simpler than the fresh cycle. Right now I'm just taking 1mg of estance twice a day.
I sure hope so!! My protocol this time are 4 estrogen patches everyother day & low dose aspirin. I have an ultrasound on the 12th to check my lining. I will then start progesterone, 1 in the AM and 1 in the PM.

I have 2 frozen 5 day snow babies so Im hoping everything is well and they are ready to go! How about you?

What is the estance? is that all you are doing? This is so exciting, I wish the time would go a lil quicker. :D 2 Weeks from tomorrow!!

Wow, everyones special dates are coming so close! Right around the corner. I am rooting for you all and am looking forward to all the updates. Can anyone post an updated list with all the new dates? There is so much going on again.

Andnichole- you can come and join me and some others on the september 08 thread if you like. It is a slow thread now, but I am sure it will pick up soon.

Neffi, esperanza, amy, mrs g- lots of baby dust your way! Hopefully we will all have our babies in 2008!

No updates for me, I don't have another ob appt until the end of march. Now I am just a normal pregnant woman with appts every 4 weeks. It is kinda nice not to have to go every week, but I do miss the frequent updates. I was having a little bit of pressure down low today, but hopefully that is normal.

I will be reading for all of your updates, so keep us posted!

hi esperanza - how'd the b/w go today? -- wow - less than a 2ww for you and mrs. g till you are both PUPO -- bet you are getting very excited!

neffi - how's the stimming going? Get plenty of rest and drink lots of water. I get to start in one week from today...

unexplained -- are you still around? April is just around the corner...

washingtonda - hope all goes well with your upcoming tests.. will be thinking of you on the 18th. So nice for you that DH can accompany you to las vegas, will be a nice little getaway, even if you are going for work.

ct-michele - think that is great that after such a long road to get to where you are now, that your doc sees you as "just a normal pregnant woman" -- that must mean that all is going well and that you are doing everything right. keep posting to tell us you are feeling!

andnichole - how are you and the babies? just a few weeks to go and you'll be into your 2nd trimester, no wonder you are starting to show a bit! enjoy this time.

have a great weekend everyone!

Amy- Everything is going well, and I am happy to be just another pregnant lady. I will be happier when I grow a little bit more (I know that sounds weird) but I am at that stage where people are probably thinking...fat or pregnant? I know my big belly is coming real soon though.

I finally got a chance to call dr today about my nuchal screening test results. Everything came back great. They said for a woman my age, the risk factor for downs is normally 1 in 700 and my test came back 1 in 1900. Also, she said that 1 in 100 would be considered positive for trisomy and mine came back 1 in 7800, so my numbers were great. It was a relief for us, because chromosomes have been our biggest concern. We had a male foactor icsi, and we were nervous chromosomes might have caused the male infertility, so it was good news today.

I go for my first prenatal massage tomorrow! I am soooo excited, since everything is hurting. Of course the weather men are saying it is supposed to rain in biblical proportions tomorrow, but I don't care, I am going to that massage even if i have to take a boat to get there!

I hope everyone has a great weekend, and I am excited about everyones updates and upcoming ER's/ET's and FET's!

Michelle--here's a little present in case you needed today!

Image

I'm so happy your tests came out great. Yay!

Amy-- thank you for asking :) My estrogen levels came out low, so I was put on the estrogen patch.

I was supposed to start last night but I had a little bit of drama, hopefully it'll get resolved today. My nurse calls me to tell me that I needed to start the patches and that she was going to order them through my pharmacy. I gave her the number and asked her to call me if there were any issues with the pharmacy. Since I didn't hear back, I assumed everything was ok. Well, as it turns out, the pharmacy never received the order...I was like WHAT??? I'm supposed to start tonight. It didn't help that the people at the pharmacy were very cranky and not being helpful at all (bad service  ) . In any case, I called the doc's office back (thank God they have a weekend page number), and the nurse told me she was going to put in the order for me (I gave her another pharmacy's number...I don't want to go back to that other one). In any case, I'm going in a few minutes to see if they are ready. I'll keep you posted.

Other than that, I'm really excited about my transfer. I have decided that I'm going to be positive all the way and truly believe in my heart that we are, indeed, having children; SO I've bought a couple of onesies and a children's book (my dh is Haitian, so I got a Haitian children's book :) It's a sweet story--the book is called selavi, in case you want to check it out-- I figure that the babies can start learning about their heritage early on  Now, I have to find a Venezuelan one, but my mom will take care of that!...anyway, my babies already have a book). Babies are coming!!!
